Tokyo Ghoul:RE Episode 12 English Fandub
Project Overview
What this project is about: Hey, so you might be wondering "what is this project about?" Well to answer your question this is something I've been wanting to work on not only because there aren't many Tokyo Ghoul dub projects (if any at all) out there, but because this is one of my personal favorite episodes out of the Tokyo Ghoul anime (I don't even like the anime much, I prefer the manga by a ton, but Yutaka Yamada's music is godly). So, I decided to bring this upon myself and make a fandub for this episode! Where will this be uploaded? It'll be uploaded either on daily-motion or youtube (maybe daily-motion though due to youtube copyright and whatnot), this is also a nonprofit fandub! I will be voicing Ken Kaneki/Haise Sasaki!
Requirements:
- Must be 13 years or older!
- Have a good mic (no background noise),
- Have Discord
- Must be able to turn lines/voice recordings on time!
- Must be able to cope with spoilers
- Have Fun!

1st Update!
So, first update on this project! I still haven't the right VAs for the characters so far and there hasn't been many auditions for some characters such as Shuu/Shu. That being said I have found some auditions that I like, and i'll probably start to cast some VAs soon!
Eto Yoshimura (芳村 エト, Yoshimura Eto) is the founding leader of Aogiri Tree, having formed the organization in the decade between her original rampage and the beginning of the series. While speculated by many to be the One-Eyed King, she claims that this is not the case.[3]Instead, she is the One-Eyed Owl (隻眼の梟, Sekigan no Fukurō), the half-human and half-ghoul daughter of Yoshimura and Ukina. Her human identity is Sen Takatsuki (高槻 泉, Takatsuki Sen), a best-selling horror novelist mentioned throughout the series.
Hello, my name is Eto Yoshimura and I hope to become an author! (In shy type voice)

You don't have to love someone doesn't love you back. (In a normal and wise voice)
Go on and quickly there's so little time!
At first, Furuta appeared to have a normal and quiet personality. He seemed very polite and soft-spoken, respecting of his superiors, and acted horrified when they were in danger. He was praised and highly regarded by Kijima as a talented associate, enough that he was trusted to act as bait during an ambush of Rose's hunting party. However, that was a facade used to mask his true motivations and allegiances. In truth, Furuta cared little for other investigators and would manipulate and kill them or even use them as human shields.
This is a joke, you're joking, where's the joke? (Sarcastic and curious tone)
Oh Haise, no, Kaneki you never cease to change. (Sarcastic and angry tone)
We will exterminate all ghouls! (serious voice)
Matsuri is noted for having an extremely logical and cold nature, having little consideration for human life when making decisions. His record is particularly bloody, since he prioritizes successful results over the potential cost to those under his command. Considered unfriendly at best, he has little patience and treats those he views negatively with open disdain. He is a career-driven man who aspired to get promoted to Special Class then Bureau Director, the former of which he has achieved.
"You know, though I rely on the status and power given me by my Washuu (Wa-shu) name, I really do envy you all. Able to enjoy your lives to the fullest."
"Why should I care?" (serious tone)
"Let us get back to investigating"
Kanae had been shown to be in a state of distress, crying over Tsukiyama's catatonic state. She was also shown talking to a rose, and Chie Hori had implied that she had a tendency of doing so. Like Tsukiyama, she had a habit of using foreign words in her sentences; specifically German. She was also quite flamboyant and over-dramatic in her speech and gestures
"I am loved, I am loved, I am loved, I AM LOVED!!!!!!!!!!" (Fast and angry voice)
"The sorrows of life, to not be able to live like yourself. The joys of life, to be able to die like yourself. Do I deserve to be happy..." (Sad tone)
Master Shu you must rest
Koori has a somewhat easy-going personality, making casual comments or even jokes during tense moments such as the fight with the Owl. However, he also shows an insightful nature when expressing his unease over the outcome of the Owl Suppression Operation.
"Most important things? What things? The teachers I respected?" (a mix of a sad and angry tone)
"Why do I still continue to fight?"
"I lost everything I ever cared about"
Shirazu, like most of his teammates, was shown to have great respect for his mentor, Haise Sasaki. However, this did not stop him from going out of his way to execute missions without Sasaki’s permission, and so he was constantly seen accompanying Kuki Urie, the former squad leader, on dangerous assignments. Although he was a competent fighter with a ruthless nature, Urie described Shirazu as a simple-minded person. This became evident when Urie easily manipulated him into thinking Sasaki was using the Quinx for his own gain. He easily became fired up and spoke loudly.
"I only accepted because there's compensation for being a test subject of the quinx surgery. I need money...fast "
To Urie (for disrespecting Sasaki): "Sassan saved us by putting his life on the line. If you call him a ghoul, then you're a bastard worse than trash. I'll kill you right here!"
"Sasaki... I want to see Sasaki... No real reason. I just wanna see him... now... I... What if I really do just die here?" (In a sad and dying tone as he is dying here)
An intimidating giant in eerie silence, Noro seemed to communicate only through actions, not words. He carried around a clock when being fought by Tsukiyama, Yomo, and Uta. Tsukiyama speculated that he was under a curfew, much like a child. Noro never displayed any signs of pain or resistance when attacked and seriously injured and merely healed his wounds without problems. Despite that, Noro showed the ability to speak in his last moments, and displayed a level of intelligence.
"Eto, I will protect you"
"I'll be heading out now"
"I see"
Urie often displays himself as a cool-headed individual, holding a monotonous facial expression the majority of the time. As a ghoul investigator, he appears to be very dedicated and stern about his work, to the point where it may seem as though he is ruthlessly slaughtering more ghouls than necessary, which is a habit he often gets berated for. Urie also tends to be quite hasty when investigating the slightest details or signs of a suspect.
"That's right. Back then, what I really resented was my own powerless self. My tiny little self. And my tiny little heart. Too small to hold all that emotion, so it had to shift the blame onto someone else. But now, I'm grown. I've come for you. I'll hold it all. " (In a serious tone)
"SHIRAZU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"I will surpase Haise Sasaki"

"Saiko doesn't want anyone to die anymore." (Angry tone)
"I'm dead. Deeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaad!"
"Well... Men say this and that, but... Shove a pair of big tits in their face and they shut up right quick."
Mutsuki is kindhearted and gentle but starts off as shy with little self-confidence. Having constant bouts of anemia, ironically, Mutsuki feels repulsed by blood. Due to being sickly and his low self-esteem, he faces discouragement as a ghoul investigator to the point where he feels as though he is not even needed for the job. He expresses frustration with his own weakness, feeling anger at his lack of ability compared to his comrades. He is also later revealed to be a woman when fight Urie.
"I'm hopeless... Ugh... Seeing blood makes me..."
"Sasaki... why does the CCG let someone like that live? When I look into that ghoul's eyes... it sends shivers down my spine."
"For me... it's not a fact that I 'have' the [heart of a man]. But... I hate them. Men's eyes are so disgusting "
This way! Let's go!
We need help now!
This bread is great
(funny laugh)
In the beginning of Tokyo Ghoul, Tsukiyama appeared to be a confident, friendly, and intelligent ghoul. However, these were merely acts to lure his "prey" into the Ghoul Restaurant and to conceal his eccentric, cruel, and selfish personality. He considered himself a strong predator who would seek to devour the finest meals he made of his "prey" and would not hesitate to resort to any merciless tactics in order to achieve his goals. As a result, he was disliked by most ghouls in the 20th ward. His interest in European literature and language was shown in his gestures and mannerisms, his dialogue often peppered with random phrases of English, French, and Italian. Family associates have likened his intellectual gestures to those of his young father.

"Kaneki of ‘Anteiku,’ huh? I have a strong interest in that scent."
"Isn’t it arrogant to put a price on whether life is ‘higher’ or ‘lower,’ Kaneki? We are just bags of meat. The weak bow down and the strong devour them. "
"For dear life, Kaneki-kun... would you please not go?" (In a sad furious tone)
