Toadal Drama Island Series
Project Overview
Toadal Drama Island is a crossover between Total Drama Island, an animated reality show satire on Cartoon Network, and the Super Mario Bros. series. Every season, contestants compete against one another in a brutal reality show hosted by the mushroom menace himself, Toad. The crew must embark on a treacherous journey with the promise of status, fame, and most importantly sweet gold coins. Only one can come out on top and be crowned the winner.
With this show the important thing I'm in search of for VAs is dedication. This show has the potential to run for a crazy long time. We already have a few episodes out but we intend to do at least two more seasons beyond the first, which is what this casting call is for. This process could be a long one, and we hope that doesn't scare you away!

We will soon start casting most of these roles. For those left uncasted, we are also moving this casting call to a new casting call starting very soon. The roles of Daisy, Waluigi, Rosalina, Mona, and Madame Flurrie will be ending around this time. The rest will be moved to another casting call.

Description of Character
A flamboyant Prince hailing from the Bean Bean Kingdom. Prince Peasley loves drama, and causes his fair share in the competition.
Description of Voice
Higher pitched voice, with a proud and princely tone.
Feast your eyes, one and all, on the winner of this magnificent season!
That's PRINCE Peasley to you, you peon!
Of all the asinine things- I mean, how could I have been picked so close to last? Ridiculous! No worries, no worries. They just haven't seen what you can do yet, that's all.

Description of Character
The creepy brother of Wario who is a mischevious underdog bent on winning out over all those who have wronged him.
Description of Voice
Again, very similar to Charles Martinet's voice for Waluigi. Somewhat screechy (controlled screechy of course) with his weird "wa" tone.
Looking for him to be Italian as well, but I encourage everyone to try both an Italian and non-Italian accent.
*In a dance competition with Toadsworth* I took 8 years of dance classes and Blooper-Bop Acadamy, I an't losin' to no old man!
Wario paid me to eat a sock once.. And whattya know, I spent the money he gave me on even more socks.. I was a dumb child.
Why are you hating on me? Oh is this about the bob-omb factory, again? Its always about the bob-omb factory with you!
Character Description
A spunky hipster chick who loves gore-filled indie movies and develops a strong friendship with Wario.
Description of Voice
The voice should be experimented with. We're looking for a few different things. Just what you'd imagine a spunky hipster girl would sound like. Potentially look for a more energized version of Gwen from Toadal Drama for inspiration.
Oh, hello there. Ya know, you’re kinda cute. Like... a little yellow leprechaun. Kind of remind me of this movie I watched one time...
Holy crap! This is just like Steel Primates 2: Attack of the Apes!
I know I’ve seemed oblivious to Wario’s affections thus far… But come on. When a guy tries THAT hard to talk to you, you know something is up.. I just don’t know how to tell him… I think romance is just too… Mainstream.
Description of Character
The eldest of Bowser's Koopa Kids, he is an evil musician with a wickedly high IQ.
Description of Voice
Need a low pitched voice with an extremely pompous tone. While I specified German accent, British are also allowed. If you can do both, try both.
Compare the pompous tone to Megatron from Transformers: Beast Wars
Hmm.. If I can't win fairly.. I'll just have to win unfairly.
That, my dear princess, is my latest and greatest creation, the Quantum Koopa Ray!
Oh my.. Well, I wasn't expecting to see such rabble in this competition but.. I suppose I can live with it.

This role is potentially going to be an "understudy" role as one of our current voice actors is on the fence about continuing with the show.
Description of Character
A self-proclaimed selective-pacifist, Dry Bones is quite kind to those he considers his friends. However, his enemies better watch out. Dry Bones is the definative ice queen of the group, harsh exterior but a softie on the inside.
Description of Voice
Dry Bones has a medium-tenor voice that has a lot of scratchyness to it. I could potentially see a female pulling this off but it would probably take a good male voice to get the voice a bit deeper. He kinda has a "punk" tone to his voice and is often dismissive and sarcastic.
I'm a selective passifist... Which means I don’t beat people up unless I feel like it... And this would be one of those moments where I select to not be a pacifist.
*Sarcastically* Man, I’d just love to talk with you about my problems. But we’ve seriously got a challenge to win. Let’s go!
Guys there’s no way we can win this challenge…. we don’t even know what we’re looking for.
Description of Character
One of the main antagonists of the show. The evil alter-ego of Mario's goofball brother, Luigi. Sassy and eager to cause mayhem, Mr. L has many tricks up his sleeve for the competition.
Description of Voice
Like Charles Martinet as Luigi, but with some added sass and twisted to sound evil and ill-intentioned.
I am the Green Thunder! I lurk in the shadows of night, waiting to strike the innocent.
*Making fun of his evil leader for giving him orders* Yeah Yeah, get the stone, blah blah blah, death threats, yada yada yada.
If you do everything I ask of you, I may reconsider my promise to pummel you. But I will not take orders from someone who so clearly lacks any sort of evil flare.
Description of Character
The queen of the cosmos and one of the kindest members of the competion. This sweet women often acts as a source of wisdom and guidence for the contestants, and is generally very helpful to them.
Description of Voice
Needs a "mystifying" tone, very clear and smooth. Yet also needs some warmth in her voice.
Females of any age could play the part but I'm specifically looking for a medium pitched mezzo voice for her.
That is not my place to say. It could upset the balance of nature to reveal information pertaining to the afterlife. With a push comes a pull, for every action is a reaction.
My wand helps me see every inch of the universe. *cheerful giggle* like a universal telescope, if I may.
I've decided to take a short break from my duties, to join my friends once more! *aside* And to keep an eye on Toad and make sure he doiesn't disrupt the natural balance of the universe too badly.
Description of Character
One of the main antagonists of the series. Devilishly unpredictable, Dimentio is a charismatic psycho bent on destroying the universe.
Description of Voice
I'm up for a lot of experimentation because we honestly cannot nail down what we want.
Look at various incarnations of the Joker (particularly Mark Hamill) for some inspiration.
Unlike the Joker though, he is not constantly in a state of madness and generally has a calm tone about him. He needs to have a syrupy smooth voice that is enjoyable to listen to.
Oh now don't be so rash. He was only offering some kind of advice to aid us in the challenge.
*Examining a man who he intends to possess* You seem like a nice vessel.. Yesss a sporty vessel, tall, thin, shy.. Yet you have a powerful and intense core.
It's no use. Squirming like that. It's almost cute really. Like a fish that has almost made its way to the sea.. Half in water.. Half gasping for air.. Waving one fin, trying to make iot into the salty abyss before the only thing it's grasping at is a fork and knife. Its adorable.. So weak.. And helpless. *cruel chuckling turns into maniacal laughter*
Description of Character
This loud and proud diva may act like a kind, caring woman, but deep down the one thing she cares about is the prize waiting at the end of the finish line.
Description of Voice
Need a deep voiced individual, preferably with an African dialect. Someone with a lot of sass. This is a challenging role so good luck!

Description of Character
The craziest, most unpredictable contestant of them all. This princess of Sarasaland is a tomboy who lives in her own little world.
Description of Voice
Similar to Daisy in the main series, but injected with lots of energy. Also compare to Izzy from Total Drama Island.
Would love to have someone who is good at improv.
Oh! Is this the part where I jump and yell "SURPRISE!"?
