Beyond human knowledge, all of existence is divided into four Realms. The Mundane Realm, that of which you and I live, holds all living human beings. It is constantly plunging itself further and further into darkness because of the overwhelming cruelty and heartlessness that controls almost every human. The Under Realm is where your soul descends when you have lost your life. It is overrun by ghosts, ghouls, and monsters lurk around every corner. Ruling this realm is a demon, high in rank but without proper place in the Demonic Realm. That is where demons spread chaos and misery, at the lowest point of the universe. At the highest point, the Angelic Realm protects the Mundane Realm, for what it will allow.
The King of the Under Realm, Quintus, is captured and imprisoned in the Mundane Realm for a century. By pure accident, two high school students set him free, giving him the ability to finally return to his Realm. Though, before he does, he takes an immediate interest in one of these students: Lucia Gonzalez. He finds use in her soul, giving him the leverage he needs to help his kingdom back on its feet. They strike a deal, making her his personal assistant. But Quintus is not the only person who is after Lucia's soul; and they will stop at nothing to make it theirs.
Hello everybody! This is a personal project I've been working on for quite some time now-- I am now looking for help to start making this series a reality. Voice actors, musicians, and people willing to help production are desperately needed! I can't wait to see all of the talent this call will bring me. Please consider the rules before you audition!
RULES:
1. This series will involve adult themes, including explicit language, gore, and other maturities. Please do not carry on with auditioning if you are not okay with this, as I don't plan to change scripts any time soon.
2. This series will involve LGBTQ+ characters! If you are not okay with this, please do not audition here and take your hate with you.
3. Please audition with decent equipment! As a director, writer, and audio editor, I cannot spend all of my time editing until it is to the quality I want.
4. PLEASE BE DEDICATED!!! This is so important! Recasting roles is a painful and very long process, so please do not audition if you know you won't be able to commit.
5. Hate and negativity of any kind is not allowed whatsoever!

This plot, for the most part, follows Lucy— an 18-year-old high school student with a fiery attitude and a dramatic touch to her lines. She is social, sarcastic, and overemphasizes just about everything she means. She is partly responsible for freeing the King of the Under Realm, and must help him restore peace and balance to his kingdom. She is affectionately nicknamed mariposa, as a jab at her Cuban heritage. There is a certain aspect about her that will play a crucial role later in the story.
Lucy’s voice should be at a medium range, just a little raspy. No accent preferred here. She has a lot of lines, so if casted, YOU MUST BE DEDICATED!!
[Dramatic emphasis] I swear, I can't make it through that class without wanting to put my head through a textbook.
[Utterly terrified/Hushed voice] Are you going to kill me?
[Slowly processing information] Wait...you are...'the greatest danger to mankind'?
Lanna plays a crucial role in this plot, which doesn’t take full effect until a few episodes into the series. She is a social butterfly of a 17-year-old high school student, very friendly and incredibly sweet. Don’t let her charm fool you, though, it hides a sassy streak a mile wide. She is partly responsible for freeing the King of the Under Realm, and is Lucia’s fiercely loyal and closest friend. Nothing could possibly separate them.
Lanna’s voice should be in the higher feminine range, sweet like candy. No accent preferred here. She has a lot of lines, so if casted, YOU MUST BE DEDICATED!!
[Optimistic/Cheerful] You busy tonight? Dad's on a business trip again; we can binge Brooklyn Nine-Nine and eat chocolate ice cream on my living room floor without judgement.
[Optimistic/Cheerful] Did you have fun studying? ...Okay, stupid question, my bad. Did you have any luck?
[Reassuring herself] See? I knew it. Some asshole probably put that note in there to scare people. Stuck the pages together for extra measure.
This plot revolves heavily around Quinn, a high-ranking demon and King of the Under Realm. He is the perfect image of a super human— sharp, quick on his feet, unnatural strength and other incredible senses. He is also very proper, but is known to lose his cool in times of stress, and is considered to be the only person who can top Lucia’s levels of drama. On top of this, he knows just how powerful he truly is, and isn’t afraid to use it as a fear tactic. Quinn brings Lucia across realms to help restore his kingdom to its former glory.
Quinn’s voice should be deep, rich, and well-spoken. No accent is preferred here. He has a lot of lines, so if casted, YOU MUST BE DEDICATED!!
[Light & Teasing] Shhhhh...easy now. [Turning low, dark, and intimidating] Keep still, and I won't have to hurt you.
[Flourish of arrogance/egotistical] You flatter me, my dear. But yes, I do suppose that is true.
[Smug] I will leave this realm be, if you act as my assistant in my own realm. Help save one to keep another alive. That sounds reasonable, does it not?
Jinx is an impish little demon, who frequently appears throughout the series. He is unpredictable, impossible to read, and very selfishly impulsive. He behaves exactly like a little boy would. There is no character that can match or keep up with his crazed personality. He is an asshole, and he knows it. He flaunts this to no end, specifically to torture Quintus. Jinx plays varying roles throughout the series. He goes from a villain, to love interest, to ally in a matter of seconds.
Jinx's voice should be at a much higher range than other male characters, being that he is essentially the embodiment of a little boy. This is why I would encourage girls to try out for this role as well! No accent is preferred here.
[Snide] Oh, are you now? How adorable! Unfortunately I cannot give it to you. You are no king anymore.
[Smug] And who might this be? A human? Quinn, I thought you knew better than to carry your meals like luggage.
[Flirtatious] Betcha can’t make me~
Barrett and Digger are a duo of 20-something alchemists, who open the series and are likely appear again in future episodes. They are typically portrayed as frightened and paranoid, but clearly do not lack the power to defend themselves. They are quick and efficient, though their skills tend to be a bit muddled when put under pressure. These men are the ones who capture the King of the Under Realm.
These are two different characters, therefore I am looking to cast two people. Their voices should be lighter in tone, able to capture panic and fear while simultaneously being able to deliver comedic lines. No accent is preferred here.
[Serious/Dark] May this evil be locked away for centuries to come. God forbid anyone to ever open this book again.
[Panicked/Frightened] What do we do? Man, what do we do?! If that - that thing gets loose again, we’re fucked!
[Panicked/Arguing] Oh, now you want to think? Where was that when you decided to trap that thing? Or better yet, where was that when we went to the catacombs in the first place?!
NOTE: THESE ROLES ARE CRUCIAL TO THE CAST!!! I will need SEVERAL talented people to play multiple roles throughout the series. You must be capable of delivering dramatic and comedic lines. You must be dedicated to play several different characters, which will appear at least once every episode. Those casted will likely be the people I work with the most, so please be reachable!
