Project Overview
INTRODUCTION
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES SHELL SHOCK ADVENTURES! a brand new 2d animated action comedy adventure fan series designed to honor four decades of the iconic TMNT brand. This reboot aims to be a vibrant celebration of the franchise's rich history, drawing inspiration from its beloved movies, classic animated series, and original comic book roots.
Our goal is to recapture the core essence that made the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles so iconic, infusing that timeless formula into a fresh narrative. The series will feature a dynamic cast of both familiar faces and exciting new characters, brought to life through colorful animation. While staying true to the spirit of the TMNT legacy, TMNT Shell Shock Adventures will also introduce innovative elements and contemporary twists to the characters and the show's overall presentation, ensuring a compelling experience for long-time fans and new viewers alike.

THE STORY:
The series follows the four turtle brothers—Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo—who feel alone and isolated, longing for acceptance from humans. One day, the turtles devise a plan to achieve acceptance; they will try to be heroes so they can be accepted by the outside world. After a couple of weeks without being noticed for being heroes, they encounter trouble with the Purple Dragons, the city's largest gang. Following this scuffle, they meet a human girl, April O'Neil, who is initially scared of the turtles and their father, a rat named Master Splinter. However, she eventually bonds with them, becoming like family.After their fight with the Purple Dragons, a mysterious foe called the Shredder attempts to hunt down the turtles for interfering with his plans, sending mutants and his clan, the Foot Clan, to pursue them. The turtles must find a way to stop the Shredder. In their adventures, they will meet new friends and new foes. Will the turtles be accepted, or will evil prevail?
Audition Requirements:
Active Discord Account Required: You must have a Discord account to apply. This is our primary platform for cast communication, script updates, and production announcements.
Age Requirement (16+): You must be 16 years of age or older to audition for this project. We require a mature cast capable of managing production schedules and deadlines.
High-Quality Microphone: Please ensure you have a good quality microphone setup with zero background noise (no fans, static, or room echo) so your lines are crystal clear.
Provide Three Takes: Please submit at least three (3) takes for every audition line using the standard A-B-C format (all takes in one audio file). Try to vary your tone, pacing, or emotion with each take to show your range!
Make the Character Your Own: Do not feel pressured to perfectly imitate past voice actors who have played these roles. If you can do a great impression, that's awesome! However, we are completely open to unique, fresh interpretations of these characters.

Voice Actor
Casey Jones is a street-level vigilante who wears a hockey mask and carries a bag full of sports gear to use as weapons. He doesn’t trust the police or the law because he thinks the system is broken and fails to protect good people. Instead, he takes matters into his own hands with a "one-man wrecking crew" attitude.
His mission is personal. A gang called the Purple Dragons killed his father, leaving him alone and full of rage. Every time he picks a fight, he’s really fighting back against the people who ruined his life. He has a short fuse and a brutal fighting style because he’s carrying a lot of deep pain.
Even though he's angry, he’s not a lost cause. He stays grounded because of His Mom: She reminds him of why he’s fighting to keep the neighborhood safe.
His Friend Raphael and others are his anchor. Without them, he’d probably lose himself to his own violence.At the end of the day, Casey is a broken kid who uses his pain to protect the people he loves.

Writer
The Story Writer is going to help out with planning the main plot and story events for the series. You'll help figure out what happens in each episode as the story moves forward.
Point of Reference for the story: It's a brand-new TMNT alternate universe! We are taking the coolest parts of TMNT history and expanding them into our own unique world and lore.
The tone is heavily inspired by Rise of the TMNT and TMNT 2012. We want a lot of fast-paced action, funny sibling banter, and a cool story that keeps people wanting to watch more. It shouldn't be too dark, but it shouldn't be a little kid show either—just a fun, action-comedy animated TMNT series.

The Script Writer will help write and refine the dialogue for different episodic and plot-related events within the series, detailing things such as:
• Voice lines and banter within high-energy action sequences.
• Character-driven dialogue within narrative-heavy animatics.
• Specific physical actions, comedic timing, and emotional cues for the animators.
• Point of Reference for writing style: rise of the TMNT, and TMNT 2012.
The dialogue in this series should be very: Action-comedy-esque, featuring snappy wit, fast-paced sibling banter, and grounded emotional beats. There will be a balance of high-stakes superhero action and lighthearted character shenanigans.

I’m currently looking for a co-writer or proofreader to help polish the scripts for my TMNT fan series! The overall plot outline and main story arc are already mapped out, but I’d love feedback on pacing, dialogue, and character interactions.
If the pilot/first episode goes well, I’d be thrilled to keep collaborating on future episodes! Anyone with good writing skills is welcome to apply, but having a strong grasp of TMNT lore, action pacing, and snappy team banter (especially natural dynamic dialogue between the brothers) is a huge plus.

We are looking for talented and driven Storyboard Artists to join our team for an ambitious, fast-paced 2D animated action-comedy fan series! In this role, you will play a crucial part in the pre-production pipeline, taking our completed script pages and turning them into rough or clean sequential panels. We need artists who can map out the action, character expressions, and comedic timing while utilizing strong perspective, dynamic camera angles, and clear depth to make every scene pop.
This is a key artistic staff role and is entirely voluntary (UNPAID).
