a fanmade, non-profit animated series inspired by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. While heavily based on the emotional tone and character dynamics of TMNT 2012, the series draws from across the entire TMNT multiverse—including TMNT 2003, the IDW comics, and even elements of Rise—to create something completely new.
This series is not affiliated with Nickelodeon or the official TMNT franchise. To avoid copyright conflicts, it will be released under a different name, with reimagined designs and structure, while still honoring the heart of the franchise: found family, emotional growth, sibling bonds, and the struggle to define your identity in a world that fears you.

Pilot episode is the main focus, but I do have plans for where this show is going to go

This project was created out of a deep love for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles—especially the 2012 series, which brought emotional depth and character development to the forefront. But as fans, we also saw opportunities.
Opportunities to fix things that didn’t sit right.
To expand on ideas that deserved more time.
To give certain characters the depth, closure, or respect they never truly got.
This reboot is for those who wanted:
A stronger sense of continuity and emotional growth
More space for grief, healing, and identity
And a cast that reflects the world we live in—messy, diverse, queer, and real
Why Jennika and Venus Were Added:
Jennika and Venus were added to this reboot for a few important reasons.
Jennika is a genuinely compelling character from the comics—one with grit, heart, and untapped emotional potential. Her story deserved to be explored more fully, and this reboot gave her the space to become a true part of the family from the start.
Venus, on the other hand, was never given a fair shot. Her original portrayal lacked depth and respect, so this reboot reimagines her from the ground up—giving her personality, agency, and a real place within the team.
And beyond that? This is a fanmade reboot, which means there’s room to expand and evolve the lineup in ways that make the story richer and a little more original. Adding Jennika and Venus helped create a cast that feels more complete and distinctive—something that honors the source, but isn’t afraid to do something new.
I have casted Leo, Raph, Donnie, Mikey, Venus and April. Congrats to those!! I’m still thinking about the others.

Hello! We are still mainly focusing on the pilot but once the pilot is done (which prob would still take a hot minute) we’d focus on the season as a whole, so I wanted to go ahead and open casting calls for major characters that appear in season 1 (I’m probably not done but these are what I’d wanna cast as of now).

Leonardo (15) is the leader of the team. He’s disciplined, protective, and tries to be the calm center of chaos, but beneath that, he’s struggling with pressure, identity, and the fear that he’ll never be enough.
In this reboot, Leo isn’t just the bossy big brother—he’s also a quiet, introspective young mutant wrestling with impossible expectations and a deep need for control. He tries to be what everyone needs, and in the process, forgets to be himself.
We move fast, we stay quiet, and we get out before anyone sees us. Got it?
I don’t have the luxury of messing up. If I fall apart… they all fall with me.
I’m fun. I can be fun. I… fun is not the point right now, actually.
Raphael (15) is fire. Short fuse, sharp tongue, strong fists—but under it all, he’s terrified of losing the people he loves. He’s the most emotionally reactive of the turtles, often clashing with Leo and Jennika and being mean to Donnie, Mikey and Venus.
He’s loyal to the core. Devoted. Explosive.
And deep down? Still just a kid
who loves his family

Donatello (15) is the team’s genius—but that’s never been enough for him. He’s constantly solving, building, and repairing everything around him… because deep down, he’s terrified he can’t fix the things that actually matter.
In this reboot, Donnie emotionally closed off in the name of logic and is always in the middle of his chaotic siblings
Oh, sure. Let’s all just run toward the weird glowing van. That seems safe and not at all like a trap.
I can fix tech. I can fix weapons. But if something breaks between us… I don’t know how to fix that.

Michelangelo (15) is the youngest boy, the funniest, the loudest—but He feels everything deeply and masks it with jokes, impressions, and chaotic distractions.
In this reboot, Mikey’s pain is not ignored. He’s left out of serious conversations, dismissed for being “dumb,” his siblings are mean to him, and often pretends not to care—until he breaks. His emotional arc is powerful, and it starts right away.
He has a strong bond with Venus, and he’s the one who brings home Klunk, unknowingly shifting the team’s fate forever.
Okay but what if—hear me out—we name the cat Sir Meows-a-Lot the Third?
It’s fine. I know I’m just the joke. I get it.
Hey, we’re alive. That’s a win, right? We’re still us. Still weird. Still together.
Jennika (17) wasn’t there in the beginning but shes apart of it now. Mutated and brought into the Hamato clan when she was eight years old, she’s spent her whole life trying to earn her place. And while most of her brothers fully accept her, others—like Raph—still treat her like an outsider who didn’t grow up with them from day one.
She doesn’t take that lightly.
Jennika is loyal, sharp, and intense. She doesn’t yell often—but when she does, it hits hard. She loves deeply, protects fiercely, and refuses to be underestimated. Her bond with Venus is especially strong, because her dna mixed with Venus, mutating both of them into what they are now
Sometimes I wonder if they’ll ever stop seeing me as the outsider. Or if I’ll die trying to prove them wrong.

Venus (12) is the youngest member of the family—and the most out-of-pocket(after Mikey) She’s bubbly, creative, overly expressive, and frequently in her own world. She became part of the family when Jennika did, buther transition was easier since she was three at the time.
I’m not annoying! I’m innovative! There’s a difference!
I’m not saying I’m the favorite, but Klunk sat in my lap And not yours!
Okay, yes, I technically did that. But in my defense, science is unpredictable and I was bored.
Splinter is a father, a teacher, and a survivor. But that doesn’t mean he knows how to love well—at least, not yet.
In the beginning of this reboot, Splinter is emotionally guarded, strict, and often cold. He loves his children deeply, but his fear of losing them causes him to overprotect, isolate, and sometimes lash out in silence instead of support. He makes mistakes. But that’s what makes his growth so powerful.
He doesn’t start off as the perfect father. But over time, he becomes one.
You are my child. That is not conditional. That is not temporary. It simply is.
I did not teach you discipline so you could ignore it the moment it becomes inconvenient.
You will not hear this from me often. But I was wrong.
April (18) is a college freshman, a psychology major, and a little too curious for her own good. She’s perceptive, witty, and stubborn—but she’s also carrying emotional weight, especially when it comes to her past and her identity.
In this reboot, April is a lesbian
with comphet, with a romantic arc with Karai. As of now, she’s just discovering the mutant world

Kraang Unit-01 is the first of its kind to reach Earth—a scout from a distant world where the Kraang species is on the brink of collapse. Its home planet is dying, and Earth has been marked as a potential replacement. Sent to begin the quiet colonization process, Unit-01 studies humanity like insects in a jar—cold, clinical, fascinated… and disgusted.
While it operates alone (for now), it’s preparing Earth for future Kraang arrival: gathering data, experimenting with mutation, and quietly building technology beneath the surface. Its behavior is unnerving, almost polite—yet deeply threatening.

Casey (18) is a reckless but loyal brawler with a heart of gold and no impulse control. He’s protective, hotheaded, and always ready to throw hands. Think “chaotic good” with a hockey stick. Underneath the bravado is a boy who’s seen too much and wants to protect what little good he has left.
If you so much as breathe near April again, I’ll break your face. Clear?
