TITANS -- Cheshire, Raven, and Others

Project Overview

With the new year coming in, some have had to resign from their roles in TITANS. While we are sorry to see them go, well, I'll just allow you to insert some slogan related to a new year. The roles below are somewhat minor. However, we will need them to move forward and finish Season One of this audio series.

More Roles will be added as we go along, as well as deadlines. Please feel free to audition to your heart's content!

Selina Kyle (Catwoman)

Role assigned to: allieactress

Seductive and sultry, Selina Kyle has lived many lives: socialite, thief, lover. However, now that the Justice League has been exiled and Batman has been missing for months, she has decided to hang up her costume and return to her former life as one of Gotham City's social elite. Keeping in contact with Pamela Isley, one of her fellow Sirens, she finds herself in the middle of an altercation between TITANS and the less altruistic side.

(Selina's voice is sultry, and a bit lower than most female voices. Like silk to the ear, she'll sooner whisper sweet nothings and steal whatever you have than ask for your name.)

  • (Calm, even though she's being attacked) I get it. You went steady with a guy for a while, and things didn't work out. Doesn't mean that you should go into soe random girl's apartment and wreck her stuff.

  • Why are you so willing to work with me, Red, when you have the Justice League to help you?

  • (When offered a ring with a Bat symbol in the middle) And here I thought this would be my wedding ring...if I was the marrying type.

Pamela Isley (Poison Ivy)

Pamela Isley has seen what this world has done to the glorious nature that gives so much, but she has controlled the rage that once fueled her actions. Deciding that she should use her energy elsewhere, along with Selina Kyle, she has spent her days as the proprietor of Baudelaire, an affluent flower shop in Gotham City. Without the Bat hindering her, but also without Harley by her side, she is left wondering if this life is right for her.

(Pamela is just as seductive as Selina, if not a bit more calculating and gentle. When it comes to Harley, she's not above pouring her heart out if it might change the clown's ways.)

  • (Gentle, as if correcting someone) Call me Pamela, please. You know I've left the super-villain lifestyle. So has Selina.

  • You could get clean of this life, Harley. Enjoy being a civilian, like Selina and I.

  • (Reflecting on the Past) I miss being free to do whatever I want, whenever I want...but then I realized that when you've done everything you wanted to do, there's nothing left but the things you think you've left behind.

Cheshire (Jade Nguyen)

Role assigned to: riverspirit22

A former enemy of the Teen Titans, Jade Nguyen (pronounced "When") decided to switch sides after the fall of the Brain and his Brotherhood of Evil. Being recruited by Nightwing and another hero, she serves as the infiltration specialist of Team 5, and secondary leader when the need is great. Though her loyalty to the cause is high, she sometimes questions what place an assassin has among heroes.

(Cheshire is a complex character. Never one not to speak her mind, she also knows when to listen instead of speak. At this point, she is in her early twenties, so please play her accordingly.)

  • Okay. You really need to stop meditating. I'm not used to you being calm. Or wise, for that matter.

  • We are weapons, pointed at a single enemy so that someone else can claim a victory off of our work.

  • I understand that you're here as ranged support. What I don't understand is why I have to deal with you.

Harm (William Hayes)

Unpaid

Wiliam Hayes, or "Billy" in his younger years, was always the troubled sort. Displaying signs of violence into his adolescence, Billy was soon acquainted with the demon Buzz, who promised him unlimited power in exchange for an innocent soul. After Billy dabbled in tribal face paint and the murder of his younger sister, he became Harm, a supervillain-in-training who decided he was going to be the world's greatest murderer. Coming to National City to start off his next killing spree, he encounters two members of TITANS...

(Sadistic and a sociopath through and through, Harm cares for only one thing: bloodshed. He is darkly satisfied with hurting people, and anyone who gets in his way is as good as Greta. See what I did there?)

  • You don't fool me, demon. I see through your illusion, even if your companion does not.

  • (Dark, an almost gleeful repetition of a line) You're a lot prettier when you don't talk.

  • I am Harm, and I will destroy those who are in my way.

Enchantress (June Moone)

Unpaid

June Moone was a freelance artist whose life was on the upswing. However, everything changed when one fateful event caused her body to be shared with the mystical entity known as the Enchantress. The villainous entity has controlled her life for years, until Madame Xanadu crossed her path. Months of training has brought equilibrium to June's life, as she is now in full control of herself...for now.

(June has fought for years to finally have control over the Enchantress entity. Now that she does, she is filled with confidence and charm. You will have to speak a bit of Latin for this role.)

  • (Sarcastically) It's so nice to know that you're still so aggressive, John Constantine.

  • (Happily, as if this moment had finally come) I am June Moone, the Enchantress.

  • (As a witty retort) It's unhealthy to talk to yourself, my dear. Trust me. I know.

Klarion the Witch Boy

Role assigned to: gyorgysva

A Lord of Chaos and a powerful practioner of the dark arts, Klarion has played many roles: hero, villain, supervillain, bait. However, with the state of the world in continuous chaos due to the Justice League's exile from Earth, Klarion has his sights on something much greater than mischief and simple darkness. With his familiar Teekl by his side, nothing can stop Klarion (bum bum BUM) the Witch Boy.

(Klarion's voice for this project must always have an underlying layer of power. Mischief and sorcery are his playthings, but he always knows how he can manipulate a situation.)

  • (Snarky and Biting) Xanadu. I'm surprised you can still get around without a cane.

  • (Patronizing) Aww, that's adorable. The baby magician is trying to plead to me.

  • It's funny how Fate works. You're the novice, and I'm the curb stomp that makes sure you never do this again.

Raven (Rachel Roth)

Role assigned to: ohkaye

Rachel Roth, more known by her alias Raven, is one of the core members of the now disbanded superhero group known as the Teen Titans. She has seen heroes grow and fall, and fought the influence of her demonic heritage. Following Nightwing into the creation of T.I.T.A.N.S., she acts as overseer of newcomers and manager of the various Teams. Knowing full well what she can do, she guides those beneath her, and hopefully they will survive to train another day.

(Raven still has remnants of her gravelly tone from her days with the Teen Titans, though she has matured into a graceful and sarcastic sorceresss in her own right. Have fun, but please know that her voice does have a bit of a lower register.)

  • Magic exists to serve man. Whoever said that is an idiot.

  • (Full of Dry Wit) Spoken like a true middle child of Batman's students.

  • (Hesitantly) I'm not one for social gatherings.
