Voice Actor
James Gordon is the Commissioner of the Gotham City Police Department. He is a well and honest cop with a dry sense of humor, and a family man through and through. A major characteristic of Gordon is that he is always tired and never seen without a cup of coffee or a cigar to smoke, he may be seen and carry himself as the "chill uncle" type for the department, but in the field, Jim is a by the book, no nonsense cop who will do anything within the law to see justice through... The only exception being his partnership with Batman which causes some tension between he and the department.
Gordon in this should be that calm in nature, by the book kind of guy. His voice needs to be deep and assuring but have that sternness to it that screams both family man and police commissioner, think a bit of Jeffrey Wright's take on Gordon!

(Angered, annoyed, and stern) "Look, I get it! You hate us cops with every fiber of your being, but not ALL of us feed into Cobblepot's hands! I can get you closer to taking him down from the inside, but we need to trust each other. And I want no backtalk from you, you understand?"
(Happy and relaxed) *Sigh* "You know.. it's actually refreshing to be home by a reasonable time tonight."

Barbara is the daughter of Jim Gordon, and a transferring officer to the Gotham P.D. She is most known for taking her father's stubbornness but having a more... healthy approach to things. Barbara is headstrong and strategic, she genuinely wants what is best for her fellow officers and of course the citizens of Gotham, she is an odd-ball in the force as she actually doesn't see Batman as an absolute menace and helps her father out in keeping his partnership with the bat a secret for a while...
Barbara should be similar to how she is in the LEGO Batman Movie, where she's a headstrong leader in her own right but is also not afraid to actively work with others to achieve a better future, she needs that spunk in her tone as well, where she's not afraid to be a little sarcastic to anyone, including her father. She's responsible, curious, and very empathetic!

(Reassuring and calm, comforting a child) "Hey, hey. Shhh. It's okay, everything will be okay, Just breathe."

Aaron Cash is a high ranking officer for the GCPD, originally a guard at Arkham Asylum before transferring into the city job. Aaron is tough, gruff, but fair and modest. He's a family man, but has more of a chip on his shoulder compared to Jim. He has zero tolerance for the criminals the GCPD picks up, but he never goes over the line as he truly believes in Jim's ideology that Gotham can be a place of good despite all the monsters.
Cash should be deep, with a little bit of an attitude in there, try to capture how the voice is in the Arkham games, which is basically THE Cash voice... But don't just try to copy it, give Cash your own flair!

Renee Montoya is a transferring detective into Gotham City, she arrives around the same time as Barbara does, in fact! Renee is stone cold at first but when you get to know her, you find out that she is actually a sweetheart underneath all that physical combat training. She's just as headstrong as Barbara but very quiet and reserved, keeps to herself... That is, unless she's around Harvey Bullock, to which she becomes easily annoyed and agitated. Depends on the person.
Renee should have that tough exterior but with a smidge of comfort mixed in there to show that she isn't always the stone cold detective you expect out of her. Imagine an Elizabeth Maxwell kind of performance!
I would prefer Hispanic voice actresses to audition for this role!

Harvey Bullock is a washed up, out of retirement detective. After decades of going up against Gotham's worst, Harvey is jaded, wounded, and overall, just miserable. Harvey is a man who has seen the worst of Gotham but, for some reason, was ripped out of retirement to serve once again. Despite everything, Harvey is an honest man and will not go over the line, and it is his tough exterior AND interior that makes him a valuable ally to Jim... despite his hatred for vigilantes.
Harvey should sound jaded, tired, and even broken. Give him that chainsmoking, always drinking kind of voice. Make it known that he does not take care of himself... Or you could also inspire it off of Hank from Detroit: Become Human!

Alfred, in this continuity, is a monster hunter that rescued Bruce and Waylon from Dracula's Castle, and took them both in and taught them everything they knew on how to fight. Alfred is your typical sophisticated gentleman with a stern yet fair look on life. He may not be a butler, but he does take pride in caring for what he sees as extended family.
Alfred should be that usual sophisticated self that Alfred normally is, if you can do a convincing British (or Scottish) accent while sounding like an older gentleman, then you'll fit right in! The best way to describe how I want your Alfred performance is this: be strong enough to be gentle.

Leslie Thompkins was the apprentice of Thomas Wayne; after the death of her mentor and friend, Leslie became Gotham's most esteemed doctor, beloved by all of her patients and co-workers. Leslie is a hardworking and deeply caring woman who treats everyone before herself, even if it costs her great pain. She calls it a penance for, in her eyes, failing Thomas Wayne.
Leslie should have that motherly vibe to her character. Make her sound like the doctor that everyone would love to visit, but with that motherly vibe, that also means she needs to be very direct and sincere with her advice and her tone should situations get dicey.
I would prefer African American voice actresses for this role!

Lucius is a financial advisor and realtor that supplies Bruce and co. with properties to make into little hideouts or living quarters. He is a very by-the-books business man but does not bend the knee to corruption. Like Alfred, Lucius is a stickler for the rules and has a very dry sense of humor, on the outside he appears calm and uninterested, but deep down he is a man of class and poetry, almost. He's just as sophisticated as Alfred!
I would like Lucius to have an English accent, but if you can't, that works too! I would also prefer if African American VAs auditioned for the role!

(Reassuring, yet still professional) "Mr. Wayne. It's good to finally meet you. Don't worry, your secret is safe with me. Whatever it is you need, give me a call... My services won't be free, however."

Jack Ryder is a sleazeball, washed up reporter for his solo radio broadcast which is in a heated rivalry with Vicki Vale's reports on the Gotham Gazette. Ryder swindles his way into any and every story, even if it means he has to do.. not-so-legal things to get certain dirt on a specific character, cop or mob boss alike. He's a generally unapproachable guy and he kind of revels in that, he kind of has a superiority complex to him but in reality, it's just him being, well... him.
Ryder should have that sleazy tone, definitely a little higher pitched. The kind of voice who'd probably backstab you at one point but be your most trusted ally the other.

(Drunk and annoyed) "Tch... Vale. Dresses all fine like that because of her esteemed position... One day she will know what a real reporter is..."

Vicki Vale is a reporter for the Gotham Gazette and one of Gotham's finest... if not, THE finest. She is a bit of a daredevil where she will interfere with crime scenes and more to get the real details on a story, and while it could be annoying to some like Jim Gordon, Batman sees her as a worthy information dealer. Vicki is actually one of the supporters of Batman when he first comes onto the scene in Gotham, believing that while vigilantism isn't something to idolize or preach, with a city like Gotham, we'll need all the help we can get.
Vicki should be confident and daring, she knows her worth, her grounds, and isn't afraid to shut down advances that tell her "no." But she is sophisticated and respectful, of course. She's nothing like Jack Ryder. I would like her to have an English/British accent, if possible!

(A little tense, definitely stern but confused, talking to the Joker) "You... want a.. rock tour...? To do what, exactly?"
(Relieved, then back to headstrong reporter mode) "Seems you saved my life again, Batman. Can't say I don't enjoy these little stings... Now! Tell me what you know, how are you involved with any of this?"
