Lorcan a young darmither cub, (a black panther with magical powers) is born without any magic. In a world where if your different then you are shamed and ridiculed, Lorcan is destined to be a nobody. Until one night a ancient spirit comes to him, telling of a great wrong needing to be fixed. And lorcan is one of the chosen to save the world. Now he gets thrust into a bitter, resentful world. Kieran is a proud fireon (a lion with fire powers) he is a cub. He is one of the four special cubs who will save the world. He has a very snarky attitude, and is very proud. He is egotistical, and doesn't like to share his limelight. All of this can come across as rude and mean. Because Kieran is exceptionally selfish. He is a strong fighter though, and is good for the team.

A extremely gifted healer. She is a cub prodigy in the healing field. She is a very nice darmither. She cares for everyone. Even if they have done her wrong, she cares deeply. Though nisha is a hybrid. Meaning one of her parents was a darmither, the other a tanvern. (A darmither is a black panther with magical powers. A tanvern is a tiger with water powers.) She has a gentle voice, but when she is upset she gets rather loud. She is an older cub, but not yet 1 year old.

The villain of the series! He is a very persuasive, very two faced guy. He is a jagok (a jaguar with rock powers.) But he is also a hybrid. (Fireon, a lion with fire powers.) He is a very good speaker, knows exactly how to get anyone to like him. But on the other side, he is cunning and secretive. The only person he trusts and protects is Nejie. (She is a snow liopatin, a snow leopard with snow powers.)

She is the other villain of the story. She is a nice person, at first at least. She gets hurt easily, over emotional at points. She has a soft voice in the first bits, but then she gets a lot rougher when she's older. Due to becoming a villian of course. (She is a snow lioptain) she also is a hybrid, a tanvern (tiger with water powers) and snow lioptain.

A very sweet darmither. She is a beautiful one too. She is expecting cubs, and is almost like a mother like figure to lorcan. She is also one of the only people who believe in him. That push him to believe in himself. She has a very gentle voice.
