Project Overview

This Tender Rose is a webcomic of mine and i have been thinking about uploading it to youtube with voice acting, it sounded like something fun and i want to try it out so this will be a passion project i work on in my free time haha I would like to do it to all chapters so it would be a long term project but i dont know how many people would be interested so for now i will be focusing on just doing chapter 1 (we'll see if ill do more in the future haha ;D)

short desc of the story:
Human or vampire? 17 year old Chester questions where he stands in a divided world. Before finding his answer, a vampire makes him an offer he can't refuse. To make things more complicated, he becomes entangled with a handsome vampire hunter. Between this tender love and his new life, will Chester manage to find out just how different he is?

This is my first time doing anything like this so ill learn as i go haha :D

  • Extented deadline and added one new role

    I added a role because I realize i forgot one, it's a very minor role of an officer that only appears in one scene and because of that i extended the deadline to be on the 26th of November and also because I've been a little busy and need a bit more time to figure some stuff out for this :D And yeah i did say this would be a long term thing but i am so sure anymore if i am able to do that but I will definitely do Chapter 1 :)

Chester is the main character of the series.

He is 17 years old, lives with his mother and he is a half vampire. 

He is a little awkward, at times expressive with his emotions, cries pretty easily, tries his best to fit in at school and cares deeply about his family


I imagine his voice to be a little on the higher side but I'm open to hear any interpretation of him

  • *laughs awkwardly* "What? No way. What a weird rumor" *playfully pushes his friend but his other hand is grabbing the desk tightly hiding the fact that he doesn't like this rumor about him going around, after calming down he felt that someone was watching him and saw Malachis gaze on him* "That's strange...."

  • *he lifts his hand up, quietly looking at it* "I'm not...i wouldn't count as one, i can't even drink blood and im not strong...I just look like one" *furrows his brows slightly as he was trying his best to hold back his tears*

  • *Puffs his cheeks* "I-i'm just taking a walk-! What about yourself?! Why are you here with some kind of vampire detecting dog??" *then later after they talked a bit a vampire had jumped in to attack them* *screams in terror as Malachi starts pulling him to run away* "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!" *then Malachi accused him of being affiliated with that vampire* *looks at him baffled* "WHAT? NO! ONCE AGAIN I'M NOT A VAMPIRE"

Malachi will be Chesters love interest.

He is 16-17 years old, and is training under his aunt to be a vampire hunter. 

He is more quiet and aloof, not the best at expressing himself, he can be a bit reckless and stubborn at times but he always means well and he can get annoyed kind of easily.

I imagine his voice to be a little on the lower side but I'm open to hear any interpretation of him

  • *shoots the vampire in the leg* "I suggest retreating if you want to stay alive"

Rosaleen is the secondary main character.

She is a high ranking vampire that is over 200 years old. 

She is reserved and closed off and more of a loner, i imagine her voice to be more monotone as she doesn't really often express openly how she feels

  • *gets a little nervous as all eyes where on her* "I...I guess I can do it. I have nothing currently going on anyway…" *sighs*

Ione is Malachis aunt and she is a vampire hunter and is currently training Malachi to be one as well

She is pretty easygoing and playful, she likes to tease Malachi but she can get serious when the situation calls for it.
