She is a 29-year-old surgeon. She is healing people in the camp. For several years she has been learning medicine on her own. That makes her an irreplaceable person in the camp. She has been searching for a cure that would prevent people from changing into walkers. How much will she have to pay for it?
"Well done Lily. She will live thanks to your intervention. I'm so proud of you. You did the right thing".
Roxanne is a 20-year-old woman and she comes from Spain. The woman is delicate, sensitive but very stubborn and commanding. She dies in the 5th episode of the first season of "The Walking Dead". In the 10th episode, we learn that she has committed a crime and treason. Her reason is a secret until the epilogue. We find out in it what really happened then.
"She is unstable. I'm not gonna let her hurt anyone else. Are you with me or against me?"
The 19-year-old woman with an extremely dominant personality. Sophie is her mother and authority. She is very rarely in the camp because she often travels around the area and looks for people who she can help. During one of such trips, she meets Zack and his mother – Alice. Lily is a girl who can think straight even in extremely stressful situations.
"I thought you couldn’t speak. Yes, everything will be okay with her, unless she is bitten again. She won’t survive another operation. She is too exhausted. And anyway… Who wouldn’t be?"
In the epilogue, she's 13. That girl is very childish for her age. She loves to play with toys, she draws on the walls and she's very carefree. She's hysterical when she sees everything associated with violence. Guns cause panic attacks on her. In her free time, she captures her life on photos and videos. She believes that this is the only way to not to become forgotten by everyone.
"Dead people are also people. Why do none of you want to accept it? You are killing someone who can't even defend himself! You are the monsters!"
A new character – 16-year-old boy. Because the apocalypse began when he was a little kid, he's very mature for his age. He has always lived with his mother. Despite his fears, he's trying to keep moving forward. He is very thoughtful, calm and reserved for people he doesn't know. He assumes that before he tells something about himself he should first learn something about his companion (he is careful). He knows a lot about various mechanisms. He has been tampering since he was a child, so he knows a lot about it. What is he going to change in the "Gold" camp?
"Yes, I've made a mistake. Can we get to the point instead of arguing that you were right?"
Alice is the oldest of the main protagonists. She's 39. That woman is from Great Britain. Despite her delicate appearance, she's very brave. Alice is trying to spread good cheer in these tough times. Alice immediately liked Lily despite her alternative lifestyle. She thought that the woman had made the right decision.
"Life is beautiful, Zack. Remember that even if you lost something important to you."
Marlene manages the camp together with Lorenzo and Cody. She is extremely unemotional. This woman doesn't allow compassion to affect her decisions. She believes that on certain issues you can't justify another person, and then the only way is to kill him/her. In the epilogue, we meet her at the time when she is overcoming her fears and mental disorders that have been tiring for her long before the apocalypse. Has she given birth to her child?
"I don't think my decisions are right, but since other people chose me as an administrator, that means they agree with them."
He is a middle-aged man. His biggest dream has always been starting a family and having a child. He gets attached to other people too quickly and he's overly protective. He gets along well with young children. Even though he is a slight build, he is really athletic and nobody in the camp wants to mess with him, even though he rarely gets angry.
"Remember, don't keep your finger on the trigger until you are going to hurt someone. Straighten your arms... good. Aim at the manikin and shoot."
Claire is a mysterious girl who Lily meets during the epilogue. She is about 14 years old. It seems like she has been living alone in this world for some time, but she doesn't care about that fact. She has been finding food without problems. Killing zombies with a knife has become her daily routine. Who is she and how she will affect the lives of the characters?
"This is life. You have to get used to it and stop feeling sorry for yourself."
During the action in the first season, he is 24 and in the epilogue, he is about 30. Jo is one of those people who care more about other peoples' fate than their own one even if it can lead to death – his the greatest fear. He's a very respectable person. In the epilogue, Jo and Sophie run a camp called "Gold"
