The Walking Dead: Comic Dub Series By Psycho Cat Studios

Project Overview

Important Note:

This is a passion project that we are dedicated to working on so this is a non-paid project. However, I will give you the proper credits in the end credit sequence and the description along with adding any of your social media links into the description. I will always make sure to let you know about any upcoming projects on my channel and any I hear that are coming up on other channels.

The Comic In Question:

The Walking Dead is an American post-apocalyptic comic book series created by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Tony Moore – who was the artist on the first six issues and cover artist for the first twenty-four – with art on the remainder of the series by Charlie Adlard.

This comic does contain violence, strong language, and sexual scenes.

What I Do On My Channel:

On my YouTube Channel (Psycho Cat Studios) I create Comic Dubs with my team of voice actors. I have over 18,000 subscribers, and it’s growing every day. We have dubbed 6 Volumes of The Walking Dead so far along with the complete series of Batman: Three Jokers. We also have two other projects in the works but The Walking Dead is our main priority. I also post clips and make edits of our Comic Dubs on TikTok to promote the channel.

What Am I Looking For?

I am looking for talented voice actors to bring these characters to life. Hopefully, my direction will help. I am not looking for impressions of the characters in the TV show. I'm looking for people who can discover the right voice for the character(s) they have. People who can give their own spin that feels right for the character. I am always open to suggestions and to people experimenting, as long as it benefits the performance and the character.

You audition for the character you think you can do well in. If you are given the role, you'll be given a list of the characters' appearances, the pages they appear in for you to record the lines, and an overview of the character to help you get to know the character (The overview will also be there in the characters audition spot down below). If you get the role, make sure to read the specific scenes your character is in so you can understand the characters' situation and know what lines your character has.

It’s not just the lines I want you to perform; it’s the sound effects that will be involved in the scenes your character is in. If you get the role I will explain it further but to sum it up: I want to make the comic come to life in the sound design and the characters.

I want dedicated voice actors that will stick with the project! It's a long series (193 Issues) and if you are given a big role, I expect you to stick with the role.

I will be updating the Casting Call once there are some developments. There will be more roles on the Casting Call in the future so keep an eye out for those.

Requirements For Auditioning And If You Get The Role:

You must be over 18 to audition. You have to have a decent microphone with little to no background noise. No humming/hissing off of electronics, no background hiss, and most importantly no one talking or playing music in the background. If there is a slight hiss in the background, I can work with that by adding noise reduction to the audio. For the auditions, I don’t mind you uploading MP3 files (I’d say that’s the biggest file CCC would let ya upload) but if you get the role I prefer if you export your audio as WAV files if that’s possible for you. If not then Mp3 is fine.

Having fun is the main goal here! Thank you for reading and hopefully, you'll be interested!

AMOUNT OF ISSUES = 82

Eugene Porter is a main character and a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. He is at first an awkward, sloppy and depressed, supposed government scientist who knows how the apocalypse started and how it can be cured. Eugene was traveling with Abraham and Rosita who protected him with their lives, until stumbling across Rick's group and revealing that his mission is a lie.

Despite putting everybody's lives at risk he slowly becomes a vitally functional and hardened survivor who also displays brutal loyalty towards his friends. Following the end of the war against the Saviors, Eugene became extremely valuable to the survivors, acting as the leader of the Herd-Duty Crew and Ammunitions Production under Rick's management. He also led a small crew of survivors from the Alexandria Safe-Zone to the Commonwealth.

Before the outbreak, Eugene was a high-school science teacher. It is unknown whether or not he was aware of his diagnosis, but Eugene was born on the Autism spectrum, most likely Asperger's. Like many survivors, he was unprepared for the harsh realities the zombie apocalypse brought, and believed he lacked the skills or experiences necessary to survive. As a teacher, he realized his skills were his intelligence, and he combined this with his self-belief in his ability to lie well. He utilized his advanced general knowledge to survive, and at some unknown point, he cut his hair and fashioned it into a mullet. When asked why he did so, he reasoned that it took attention off of his intelligence.

Eugene's greatest strength is his large intellect. On multiple different occasions Eugene has displayed great feats of intellect, such as being able to use factory equipment to craft bullets and heal wounds such as gunshots with relative ease. Eugene's intellect makes him a great asset to the group, with him often being kept away from the action in order to keep him safe, a notion Eugene does not always approve of. In recent times Eugene has used his intellect to help build Alexandria into a thriving beacon of hope in the harsh post-apocalyptic world, being able to design buildings such as mills for the community. Mercer also notices that Eugene is "Smart. Like, Build-a-new-car-if-given-the-time smart."

During the early months of the apocalypse, Eugene realized his intelligence would not be enough for him to be able to survive in the post-apocalyptic world. Knowing he is not a great fighter or a very brave person, Eugene used his ability to tell convincing lies to others in order to survive the undead. Deciding to call himself a top government scientist with knowledge on how the zombie outbreak started, Eugene manipulated Abraham Ford and Rosita Espinosa into protecting him from threats with the false promise that Washington, D.C. was a safe area, thus ensuring his continued survival in the post-apocalyptic world with little effort needed on his part.

Once Eugene's lies eventually caught up to him, he decided to rethink his way of living in the post-apocalyptic world. When a herd breached the Alexandria Safe-Zone, Eugene showed increased bravery in the face of danger and stood his ground while fighting off numerous zombies alongside his fellow survivors.

  • Eugene (Strong/Brave) trying to motivate people who are scared to fight off the undead. He believes in what he stands for and after stepping up now, he wants to help others who were just like him. “Back in Alexandria--we'd only lived there a little while, and before that we moved from place to place, always driven out by the dead--or worse. The walls were down, the place was overrun with roamers, we were going to flee--every bone in my body just wanted to run. But Rick, he led us in an attack--we grouped together, protected each other, and we fought back. That was the day we stopped running--when we set roots in Alexandria and fought to stay there. That was the day when I learned to control my fear--use it. It's still there--but it's a tool, it keeps me sharp. Those undead fucks are terrifying. But they're slow and, damn it, they're stupid. We can beat them. Together, like Rick taught me. You with me?"

  • Eugene (Sincere/Supportive) telling his wife that he will stick by her and raise the baby with her. "I'll raise the baby as if it were my own. I've been thinking about this all night. If you truly love me, I can do this. We can still be a family."

  • Eugene (Sinister/Full of hate) threatening the man who killed his best friend while he’s tied up. "I get free... I'm going to take you out from behind. You'll never see it coming. You'll go out like Abraham did... Only I'm thinking there won't be as many people out there who give a damn."

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Rosita is involved in a very brief scene featuring sexual content (1 Page in Volume 11 Issue 62). However, with the scene's content, there is no need to make any graphic NSFW type of sound effects. While I make every effort to treat such scenes with discretion and dignity, there is no avoiding the fact that some voice actors may have to portray sensitive or upsetting material. If this makes you too uncomfortable, please do not audition for this role. However, for those of you who do, I am always open to discussion.

Rosita Espinosa is a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. She is a survivor who traveled alongside Abraham Ford, whom she was in a relationship with, and Eugene Porter, before coming across Rick Grimes' group and joining up with them. Once the group eventually reach the Alexandria Safe-Zone, Rosita learns Abraham never loved her and leaves her for Holly. She eventually finds closure with Eugene and the two get married, but she becomes pregnant with Siddiq's child.

Not much is known about Rosita's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that she probably was from the Houston area, as Eugene stated his group had come from there before meeting Rick Grimes at Hershel Greene's farm. Rosita has mostly been relegated to a background role in her time in the series. The few instances where she is featured has revealed parts of her personality at a time. Rosita is shown as a kind, gentle, and understanding woman, and has avoided confrontation or violence with the group or others who have opposed them.

A rarity in the new world, Rosita seems less psychologically scarred or emotionally unstable than the people surrounding her. It is unknown if this is due to Rosita being less exposed to the outside dangers thanks to Abraham, or if she is a stronger individual than what has been explored of her. Rosita's character and role is mostly explored in relation to her romantic relationship with Abraham. She is shown as capable of taking care of Abraham's emotional instabilities, yet has openly expressed disagreement when he speaks without care for the other survivor's problems. Rosita's stronger emotional stability is mostly evident by her displays of empathy during the group's many horrific experiences, such as the heartbreaking incident with Billy and Ben, and Dale's death and burial. She is shown to keep her own side-arms when scouting the forest with Abraham, and may have some combat experience gained from her time in Abraham's company.

Like Eugene, Rosita has evolved to show more interaction and involvement within Rick's tight-knit group following the death of Abraham. This has been hinted at in her maturity growing, following her interaction with Holly during Abraham's funeral. Details of Rosita prior to meeting Rick's group are, like her two companions, mostly unknown. Rosita, Abraham, and Eugene had been traveling across the country from Houston towards Washington, D.C., and were part of a larger group of survivors, as revealed by Abraham. It was during this time of travel that Rosita had resorted to pleasuring men she met in return for protection, using her looks to survive. This practice continued until she met up with Abraham. It came as a surprise, and relief, to her that Abraham was not like the previous men. Ultimately, his kindness and protection made her fall in love with him, and the two soon initiated a romantic relationship, albeit strained because of Abraham's grief over the recent loss of his entire family.

Rosita, Abraham, and Eugene were the only survivors of their traveling group by the time they made it to Hershel's Farm and came across Rick and his survivors. After being confronted, Eugene tells the survivors that he knows what caused the plague, but, will not disclose any information to anyone, including Abraham and Rosita, as it is classified for surviving government officials in Washington, D.C.. Rosita remained quiet during their meeting with Rick's group, unlike her two companions. Eugene's story prompted Rick's group to hostility and caused doubt, but, Abraham ultimately convinced the majority of Rick's group of Eugene's credibility and their mission, and also to travel with the trio for safety in numbers and because of his lack of confidence in maintaining a stationary camp. Rosita's personality and thoughts remained mostly to herself during the trip to Washington, D.C.. Unlike her companions, she was relegated to a less active and important role, though she visibly seemed content with this.

DISCLAIMER: This character intends to commit sexual violence in scene(s).

Andy is an antagonist and a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. He is a member of the Marauders. He served as one of the secondary antagonists of Volume 10: What We Become.

Andy is a violent, egotistical, and sadistic man. Like the rest of his group, he took pleasure in taunting Rick, Abraham, and Carl. Andy is shown to be particularly bloodthirsty, taking joy out of beating Rick. However, Andy's arrogance would be his ultimate downfall when he is caught off-guard by Rick ripping his jugular out. Not much is known about Andy's life prior to or as the outbreak began. It is possible that he is related to the other two Marauders, because they share a similar physical appearance.

Andy, Craig and Jud ambushed the trio of Rick, Carl, and Abraham while the latter group rested on a desolate freeway in the middle of the journey back to Rick's old hometown for supplies. After Andy subdued Rick, he ordered Jud to rape Carl, as punishment for Rick fighting back, while the other held Abraham hostage. Andy, however, did not count on Rick and Abraham being hardened from their experience in the wasteland, and were caught off-guard in a matter of seconds. Andy cruelly taunted and held Rick hostage from saving Carl, but, he was killed first when Rick bit a chunk of his throat out of him in a moment of surprise. It is assumed he quickly bled to death from the major wound.

Jud is a sadistic, brutal, cruel, and violent individual. He was shown to be a pedophile, as he took sadistic pleasure out of trying to rape Carl. However, he is also shown to be a coward, as after Rick and Abraham gain the upper-hand, Jud begs for mercy despite just having tried to rape Carl.

Not much is known about Jud's life prior to or as the outbreak began. It is possible that he is related to the other two Marauders, because they share a similar physical appearance.

Jud and two others ambushed the trio of Rick, Carl, and Abraham while the latter group rested on a remote and desolate freeway in the middle of a journey back to Rick's old home town for supplies. Jud appeared to be the ringleader of the group, and had one of his companions secure the awake and armed Abraham before taking Carl out of the car he was resting in. Andy also subdued Rick while Jud threatened to rape Carl and take their equipment. Jud's group, however, did not count on Rick and Abraham as being hardened from their experience in the wasteland, and were caught off-guard in a matter of seconds. Jud cruelly taunted and held Carl hostage, attempting to rape him as well. But, his demeanor quickly changed when Abraham shot Craig and Rick bit the throat of Andy. He consequentially begged for his life and attempted to flee the crumbling freeway into the darkness.

For his voice, I’m looking for an older, smoky-sounding voice and maybe a West Virginian accent.

Morgan Jones is a main character and a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. He is also the protagonist of the Morgan Special. He and his son Duane are the first people met by Rick post-outbreak, while also being responsible for filling him in the details how to survive in the new world.

Morgan and Duane hid in various houses in the Cynthiana area, attempting to ride out the apocalypse. They stay behind as Rick leaves to find his wife and son. Months later, after losing his son to the undead, a broken Morgan joins the group, while trying to cope over his losses.Nothing is known about Morgan's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that he had a wife and a son named Duane. He probably lived in Cynthiana, Kentucky. Before meeting Rick Grimes, Morgan was an initial survivor of the outbreak along with his son and wife. His wife died from the zombie fever and subsequently turned into one.

Morgan starts as a devoted and caring father to his son Duane. After the loss of his wife, Morgan always tried to protect Duane in the harsh apocalypse and maintained his humanity. He saves a lost and confused Rick Grimes and helps him to survive before they part ways. Unfortunately Duane would eventually be killed by a walker, causing Morgan to lose his sanity. He is unable to put his son down and instead keeps him chained up in his house. When Rick reencounters, Morgan is completely desperate and mentally unstable. He has a tendency to break down at the topic of his son or anything that reminds him of him. After joining Rick's group, Morgan exhibits signs of severe mental illness and self-harming behaviors. After joining Alexandria, Morgan is still very uneasy and can't move on from the death of his family. He and Michonne become close to the point of having sexual intercourse. However, Morgan become hesitant about the relationship after thinking about his wife. This angers Michonne, though later the two come to an understanding of each other. Morgan attempts to engage in conversation with Carl many times to re-live his relationship with his dead son, which only garnered uncomfortable reactions from the latter. Morgan is one of the only people to know that Carl killed Ben, something he keeps to himself. Noticing Carl's hardened and cold-blooded nature, Morgan tries to act as a mentor figure for him as he tried to be for own son, even accidentally calling him Duane by mistake. While on his death bed, he advises Carl to retain his humanity and to be strong.

Not much is known about Greg's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that he possibly had children.

Greg was one of six cannibalistic survivors who stalked and preyed upon other living humans, namely the weak or isolated, for sustenance. Not much of his personality was revealed, only that he, like the others, listened to and obeyed the group's leader, Chris.

Like his peers, Greg had initially become a cannibal due to the circumstances of the new world and the scarcity of food; however, the extent of how much he agreed with his group's actions is unknown. Chris had revealed to Rick that they had eaten their own children to survive, and it is unknown if Greg had any children that was part of the re-telling. Greg was the most physically imposing member of the Hunters, as acknowledged by Rick when he identified Greg to be shot first by Andrea when the two groups collided. He also seemed to be the most active Hunter, having been one of the three who stalked Rick's group and one of the two, the other being Charlie, that abducted Dale. It was additionally hinted he may be good with a gun, which was why he was chosen to stalk Rick's group. When Rick's group confronted the Hunters at their own base, Greg was the first to ready his gun, and before Chris could order him to do anything, Rick ordered Andrea to mangle the Hunters with shots. Greg was the first to be shot, and had his ear completely mutilated from the bullet, incapacitating him from further action. In the end, Greg and the other Hunters were mutilated and beaten to death by Rick and the others to avenge what they had done to Dale and all of their previous victims. Then, his body was later burned, along with the rest of his group.

Douglas Monroe is a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. He is a former congressman who became the leader of the Alexandria Safe-Zone after he took control from Alexander Davidson. Douglas lives with his wife, Regina, and their son, Spencer. After the death of his wife, Douglas struggles to come to terms with his loss, filled with regret for treating her poorly. This leads him to turn his leadership over to Rick Grimes.

Douglas was a Democratic U.S. Congressman from the state of Ohio before the outbreak occurred. This position gained him and his family a spot in the Alexandria Safe-Zone when the outbreak started. He was invited by his best friend Alexander Davidson, who worked as security liaison in the white house.

Being the leader of the Alexandria Safe-Zone, Douglas was respected by many of the residents there and was called a good leader on many different occasions, and was very much a good man at heart. However, Douglas was very fond of attractive women and placed them in the highest positions in the community. Women who caught his interest, like Andrea, were often targeted by him. Meaning that he followed them around and tried to flirt with them, trying to get them to become his girlfriend, even though he was married to Regina. He considered his marriage to her "political" and they were only still together for his benefit. However, after Regina's death at the hands of Pete Anderson, he regrets these advances deeply, blaming himself for her death and going into a deep state of depression. This depression would later prove to be his fatal undoing.

Despite his advances towards women, Douglas deeply cared for the Alexandria Safe-Zone community and he would do anything to protect it. When Rick accused him of not being a good leader, Douglas told him of the time he murdered his best friend, Alexander Davidson, to protect the community, saying that his actions caused people's deaths and he simply could not allow it to go on. He also threatens to murder Rick when he attacks and assaults Peter Anderson, saying he does not want another Davidson situation. His disgust of Davidson is so great, that the very mention of his name makes him very angry and aggressive, as evidenced when he attacked Heath, after he said Davidson's name. This is also one of the few times Douglas is shown to be angry, as he has a very calm nature and is able to keep his cool in the most extreme situations.

Douglas is also shown to be a very capable leader, putting personal differences aside in the benefit of the community. This is shown when Rick asks him if he knew of Pete's abusive nature, to which he replies he has and the only reason he has not acted against it is because Pete is a doctor and an extremely valuable asset to the community. Though this judgement proved to be a mistake and caused Regina's death and as such, Douglas saw himself not fit to lead anymore, handing the position to Rick.

  • Douglas (Enraged/Slightly Nervous) roaring at Rick Grimes to stop the brutal fight between Rick and Pete. "Goddammit, Rick!! I said STOP!!!"

  • Douglas (Disturbed/Honest) opening up to Rick about a story he heard from before the apocalypse. “I want to tell you a story. Before the world spiraled into chaos, before the dead started walking, I read a news article on the internet. It's the kind of thing I usually try to avoid. Being a father, I hate stories of kids getting hurt, it really tears me up. But you know how it is -- You can't not listen when the news starts -- And after you have kids, those stories spring out of the white noise -- You can't help but hear them. The parents who shake their kids. The children left in the car on hot summer days. Babies left in trash cans -- It's horrible. But this one, the one I saw on the internet... It still haunts me, even today. A man in Florida, Fort Lauderdale, if I recall correctly, was on a drug of some kind. I don't remember which -- some type of hallucinogen, I assume. While under the influence of these drugs... He -- He ate his four year old son's eyeballs. Just ate them right out of his head. Aside from the story in general being just... Horrific, the thing that really stuck with me, that sends shivers down my spine to this very day... Was a quote from the son. "Daddy ate my eyes." No anger, no fear... Just "Daddy ate my eyes." He says it as if it's something normal, that happens to everyone. Four years old. The poor boy doesn't know any different. Talking about it now, it still makes me uncomfortable. The day I read the story... I was wrecked. I accomplished very little that day. I just couldn't stop thinking about that story, about that poor little boy."

Regina Monroe is a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. She is a resident of the Alexandria Safe-Zone, alongside her husband, Douglas Monroe, and her son, Spencer Monroe.

Not much is known about Regina's past history, aside from the facts that she was the wife of Douglas, and the mother of Spencer.

Regina was a seemingly calm, mature older woman, who apparently could also be hot-tempered at times. Her marriage with Douglas was seemingly strained, and had apparently turned more politically motivated than anything else. This was easily observable by their apparent hidden disdain of one another.

Regina continuously helped Douglas with running the Alexandria Safe-Zone; from helping with new members, as well as throwing parties. She was also very suspicious of Rick Grimes and his group of survivors wanting to join their community. Regina stated to Douglas that she trusted only him and Aaron in the zone, but she did not like seeing the new guests, and was afraid that they would try and overthrow Douglas's leadership. She was shown to have been be very fearful of Rick when Heath mentioned the thought that he might wind up being another Davidson.

According to Douglas, their marriage was a political one and that they had only remained together for the sake of their child, so as to give them parental stability. It was never revealed if she knew of her husband's fixation on Andrea, or any of the other women that he had placed into high positions. Despite what Douglas said about the two of them having a loveless marriage, Andrea believed it was just lies.

While deciding on what to do with Scott's body, Regina, Rick, Douglas, Heath, and the rest of the survivors who were present at the time were approached by an enraged Pete, who was intending to kill Rick for what he had done to him and his family. Regina attempted to step in on the conflict by trying to calm Pete down. This, however, turned out to be her fatal mistake; as Pete slashed her throat with his knife, mortally wounding her. Pete was killed shortly after by Rick, who had been granted Douglas's permission to do so. It was revealed after her death, to Aaron, that Regina did most likely know of Douglas's affairs, but kept quiet out of either loyalty or love, or maybe both. He regretted treating her badly and his numerous affairs that he had put her through.

Mikey is a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. He is a resident of the Alexandria Safe-Zone, alongside his parents Nicholas and Paula.

Nothing is known about Mikey's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that he had a mother and father, Paula and Nicholas. It is possible that Mikey lived in or near Alexandria before the outbreak. As a young boy, Mikey appeared to be rather immature, as he is first seen getting into a fight with Carl. However, after this he generally seems to be a normal and well-behaved child. Unfortunately, Mikey faces a great tragedy when his father is killed at the hands of the Saviors. He is shown to be devastated by his loss and possibly could've become more hardened by the harsh world. However, Carl, having experienced growing up in the apocalypse, tells Mikey to not hide his emotions and it is okay to be sad.

Mikey grows up to be a mature and hard-working teenager who strives to honor his father's legacy. He is very kind and respectful, especially when talking with Rick. Sadly, Mikey once again would have to deal with another loss, that being her mother, leaving Mikey as the sole survivor. It appears he is taken under Rick's wing, with him acting as mentor for Mikey. With the help of Rick and other friends, Mikey gets through the pain of losing both his parents and appears to be in a healthy mindset.

Peter Anderson, mostly referred to as Pete, is a survivor of the outbreak and later an antagonist in The Walking Dead. He is one of the three doctors living in the Alexandria Safe-Zone. Pete is the father of Ron and husband of Jessie.

He served as the primary antagonist of Volume 12: Life Among Them and as one of the primary antagonists of Volume 13: Too Far Gone.

Little is known about Peter's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that he was married to Jessie Anderson and had a son named Ron Anderson. He likely lived in or near Alexandria before the outbreak started, and he was also a doctor.

To many residents of Alexandria, Peter was a normal man and was one of the most valuable people in the community. People like Douglas Monroe knew about his suspicious behavior before Rick Grimes arrived, but never acted on it, believing his position as a doctor to be too valuable to the community. Rick Grimes, however, suspected Pete of being a child beater upon meeting him. Rick later harasses Pete until he eventually snaps, showing that his mind was frail even before meeting Rick and that losing power over Jessie and Ron was his biggest fear. It is also hinted that the apocalypse turned him into a different person, where his wife Jessie says that ever since the outbreak started, Pete had changed into a violent sociopath.

Jessie Anderson is a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. She is a resident of the Alexandria Safe-Zone. Jessie is the mother of Ron Anderson and the abused wife of Peter Anderson. Following her husband's execution, she starts up a short-lived relationship with Rick Grimes.

Little is known about Jessie's life before or as the outbreak began, except that she was married to Pete Anderson and had a son named Ron Anderson. She likely lived in or near Alexandria before the outbreak started.

Jessie is a sweet, kind-hearted, and friendly woman. She cares greatly for those around her and is a loving mother to her son, Ron. However, due to husband Pete often physically abusive to her, Jessie initially has a much more quiet and depressed demeanor. She starts as very closed off, not wanting to tell anyone about the abuse. When Rick tries to help her, she initially rejects his efforts and was initially saddened about Pete's death. However, she eventually becomes grateful to Rick and admires his bravery and selflessness. This eventually leads to the two entering a brief relationship.

Jessie is first seen at the dinner party along with Pete and Ron. She is quiet and seems to be depressed over something, but doesn't let anyone on to the true nature of her husband.

Jessie is hesitant to talk to anybody about her marital troubles until Rick Grimes confronts her in private and she admits that Pete has been physically abusive, but still stands by him. After a series of events that begins with Rick confronting Pete, and ultimately ends with Pete being executed, Jessie grieves but also admits to being relieved at Pete's death. Afterward, Jessie expresses gratitude to Rick and later becomes more interested in him, eventually leading to Jessie wanting to make romantic advances on him, which is in turn returned by Rick.

Jessie is seen hiding in Issue 81 to Issue 83 in Rick's house along with Rick himself, Ron, Rick's son Carl, Michonne, Morgan Jones, Denise, Maggie Greene, and Sophia. Rick decides they have to cover themselves with zombie guts in order to hide their scent from the zombie herd. They eventually leave the safety of the house, running through the undead ranks outside undetected.

On the surface, Ron appears to be just a regular kid. He is shown to get along well with the other children and generally seems to be friendly and well-behaved. However, unbeknownst to many, Ron is physically abused by his father Pete, a fact he seems to not want others to know, shown when he tells Rick that he got his black eye from getting hit by a ball. Despite this, after Rick kills Pete, Ron is shown to mourn the loss of his father. At one point he angrily confronts Carl about Rick killing his father and questions why Rick is seen as a good guy while Pete is not.

In contrast to Carl, who is much more hardened by the apocalypse, Ron is much weaker and afraid, due to living safely inside the walls of Alexandria for the entirety of the apocalypse. Not much is known about Olivia's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that she was one of the original residents of Alexandria.

Olivia is a calm, kind, and rational survivor. Although not known for her combat-proficiency, Olivia is very helpful and reliable, helping with jobs inside the community, such as acting as the inventory manager and later mill runner. She sometimes could be forgetful, such as forgetting to lock Negan's cell door, putting the whole community at risk. At one point, it also appeared she may oppose Rick's leadership, as she took part in Nicholas' coup against him and his group. However, of the three who participated, Olivia was the most hesitant and later is shown to get along well with Rick. Olivia is not particularly courageous, however she does have moments where she stands up for herself, such as slapping Negan after he makes demeaning comments about her weight and offers to have sex with her.

Olivia is in charge of the weapons storage and armory. She came to the Alexandria Safe-Zone at an undisclosed time after Alexander Davidson had already built the surrounding fences, and after Douglas Monroe took over leadership of the community.

Bruce is a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. He is resident of the Alexandria Safe-Zone and a member of the construction crew, alongside Tobin, Clyde, Jamie, Holly, and Abraham.

Nothing is known about Bruce's life prior to or as the outbreak began. Bruce is shown to be rather cynical and blunt. While talking with Abraham, he reveals he has a low opinion of Alexandria, calling the place "fucked". He is irked by Douglas' interview process due to the women often being put in positions he'll see them frequently while people like him are sent to do hard labor due to being the most "expendable". Despite this, Bruce is generally a kind and friendly individual.

Like most Safe-Zone residents details of Bruce's time in the community before Rick's group's arrival is unknown. The only known detail is that Bruce was not part of the original founding group of the community, as he told Abraham that he had arrived later. Bruce is first seen as one of the four heavily armed men led by Tobin who save both Rick and Aaron's groups from being overwhelmed by the undead masses in Washington, D.C., while they attempted to save Scott. Bruce later returned to the Alexandria Safe-Zone to escort the two vehicles.

Abraham is introduced to Bruce as a member of the Community's assigned construction group, which included Tobin, Holly, and the two other unnamed men who saved Abraham and Rick. Bruce revealed to Abraham that like him, he arrived at the Community much later from its initial establishment.

Unlike most residents of the community, Bruce spoke openly with Abraham about the dystopian nature of Alexandria - one of his observations being that Douglas placed attractive women in prominent occupations within the community. Bruce also believed that the people assigned to the construction site were not sent because they were necessarily the most physically able, but rather that they are who Douglas viewed as the most expendable. Bruce was featured more prominently than his other two unnamed construction peers, and helped Rick and Abraham defend the walls from the hostile Scavengers. He was also seen attending the church services run by Gabriel Stokes.

Bruce was one of the first victims of the horde attack in the Safe-Zone. He was part of the party that tried to clear the zombie herd that was attracted in the wake of the deadly firefight with the Scavengers. While the party tried to get back inside the gate, Bruce was severely bitten on the neck. Despite this, he managed to push the attacking zombie away and make it inside the gate. Once inside, he fell to the floor and gasped for breath, tearing up and screaming "I don't want to die!", while choking to death on his own blood. He was quickly killed by Abraham out of mercy, who bashed the front of his skull in with a single blow from his weapon. His remains were presumably buried.

Derek is an antagonist and a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. He is the leader of a group called the Scavengers. He served as one of the two primary antagonists of Volume 13: Too Far Gone (along with Peter Anderson). His death and his group's fall proved to be the catalysts for the events of Volume 14: No Way Out.

A rather inelegant and mildly charismatic but brutal man, Derek is the snide leader of the D.C. Scavenger group. He is shown to have complete authority over the other members of the group. He shows high disregard for the people of Alexandria's lives and will do whatever it takes to get inside, saying he and his group are desperate, most likely from the living in the downtown D.C. area. He is also extremely cocky, thinking he could get the jump on Rick's group by just walking up to the front gate. His cockiness and arrogance prove to be his and his groups downfall, as they severely underestimate Alexandria's defenses.

Nothing is known about Derek's life before or when the outbreak started. Due to his nature as a scavenger of the D.C. ruins, it is highly likely that he lived in or near Washington, D.C. before the outbreak occurred.

Derek is first seen in the downtown D.C. area. Glenn and Heath watch him fighting zombies off with his scavenger group. Derek suddenly pushes one of his own group members into the large zombie group, saying that they have been trapped a week and that is the only way out. He then escapes with the rest of his group, only to appear again later, after hearing Glenn and Heath's motorcycles leaving the D.C. ruins.

Derek is seen later, leading his scavenger group towards Alexandria. After hearing a gunshot originating from the Safe-Zone, Derek informs his group that he knows exactly where they are and that he plans to get there tonight, despite the increase in zombie activity. One of the scavengers asks why he wants to get there tonight, despite the danger. Derek tells him that he wants to surprise the Safe-Zone and have a clear plan of attack by the morning.

Derek and his group arrive at the Safe-Zone the next morning. Derek fires his gun to get the Alexandrians' attention and he is soon greeted by Rick Grimes. Rick asks him what he wants and Derek responds by saying that he wants to come inside the Safe-Zone. Rick tells him that is not how it works and he would prefer to get to know Derek first, asking him how many people he has. Derek says that he has no possible way of knowing how many people he has with him and that he should let him in otherwise his sniper will kill him. Rick tells him that he should walk away, or he will face a horrible death. Derek laughs off this statement and tells Rick he is dead, but, his plan backfires when Andrea kills his sniper before he can kill anyone. Rick gives Derek one last chance to walk away and he still refuses, trying to kill Rick in one last ditch effort. This, however, proves fatal for Derek and his men.

AMOUNT OF ISSUES = ALL OF THEM

Zombies, known universally as Walkers, are an antagonistic force that serve as the primary catalyst for the events within The Walking Dead universe. They serve as universal antagonists. They are humans who have died and reanimated as a result of the Wildfire Virus.

Zombie: The reanimated corpse of a human being that has regained limited function and mobility, as well as developed an insatiable hunger for flesh.

Reanimated human beings, while not immortal, will not "die" under typical conditions that would ordinarily cause the death of a living person. They do not appear to feel or respond to pain, can survive even the most brutal injuries, and despite their bottomless appetite for flesh, they do not need food, water, or sleep to function.

They show no other bodily function that relates to a human, showing no signs of self-healing or response to extreme temperatures. The brain maintains limited abilities of the body, allowing for movement of the limbs (provided that they are not decomposed to the point where the bones are not strong enough to bend without breaking), jaws, neck, and even the use of its sensory systems. While the walkers are notoriously weaker than humans, the only way to kill one is to destroy the brain. Despite severely weakened frames, they will continue to hunt for living animals to consume. Even when decapitated, the head will remain active, even though it would be practically harmless at such point.

While the term "zombie" does exist within The Walking Dead universe, it is seldom used. In the Comic Series, when Rick Grimes' group discover the prison, both Rick and Tyreese discuss how it still sounds funny to use the word "zombie." Likewise, in the Telltale Series, the term is used very rarely.

The term "zombie" originated with the Haitian practice of voodoo and refers to a person who is reanimated as a slave in the thrall of another person. Those zombies are still clinically alive and can be restored, where the "walkers" of The Walking Dead are in fact dead, presumably not under any control, and cannot be restored.

To the people who get the roles of zombies, I will use any zombie sound effects you can throw at me and I will use them throughout the entire series. As herds, groups, individuals, etc.

Barbara is a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. She is a resident of the Alexandria Safe-Zone.

Not much is known about Barbara's life prior to or as the outbreak began. It is unknown if she lived in or near Alexandria before the outbreak began.

Barbara is first seen at the house party that Douglas holds to introduce Rick's survivor group into the Community. She gossips with the other women of the Alexandria Safe-Zone that Spencer was homosexual like Eric and Aaron. She is seemingly friendly to Olivia and Michonne and urged Michonne to find someone to date, suggesting Heath as he was single.

Like the other Community residents, Barbara seems to block out the factor of the zombie crisis outside their walls. The nature of the party irritates Michonne, who lashes out at Barbara when the latter asks her what type of cake she would like for her to make.

Barbara, like many other residents, does not appear for a while because of the Alexandria Safe-Zone chaos. Barbara hasn't shown herself until Issue 89 and Issue 90, where she is seen briefly in the background. Barbara was also seen in Issue 97 inside of the church on the front row with Abraham, Holly, and Spencer while Gabriel Stokes was asking God to keep Rick, Carl, Michonne, Andrea, and Glenn safe while they are in the Hilltop Colony. She survives the battle against the Saviors at the Alexandria Safe-Zone, and moves to the Hilltop Colony with the other survivors. When the Saviors attack at Hilltop, it is unknown if Barbara was killed or not, leaving her status unknown.

Sophia Grimes is a main character first encountered in Issue 2 of The Walking Dead, as well as the deuteragonist of the final issue. She is the daughter of Carol and the only surviving member of her family. After her mother's death, Sophia was adopted by Glenn and Maggie.

Not much is known about Sophia's life prior to or as the outbreak began. She was born in 1995 to her father and Carol. She presumably lived a normal life; she was frequently doted upon by her mother. As the outbreak occurred, she lost her father to suicide and was in the process of being driven to her aunt's house in Atlanta.

Sophia is first shown to be a very sweet and shy young girl who relies on her mother at the start of the outbreak. After her mother, Carol, dies, she decides to forget about her completely, and acts like Glenn and Maggie were always her real parents. A lot of the group members had thought she was mentally unstable, but really she was just blocking her mothers memory out so she wouldn't be sad. After the events of All Out War, Sophia had matured greatly, and had become much more independent. She is shown to still care for others, but it can be seen that she wants people to know that she isn't just a little girl.

Sophia's biggest weakness however, would be not being loved. Sophia confesses to Maggie that she feels like Maggie might abandon her because she had moved on from Glenn, and she also confesses to Carl that she's sick of being alone and is looking for a relationship. This shows that Sophia holds on to the ones she loves, and cares for them deeply, but can't deal with losing them.

Chris is an antagonist and a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. He is the leader of the Hunters. He served as the primary antagonist of Volume 11: Fear The Hunters.

As calm as he is ruthless, Chris is the undisputed leader of his group, with all members deferring to him for any major decisions. He is shown to be a competent strategist, effectively stalking the survivors and utilizing scare tactics. Chris is also completely at peace with his group's cannibalistic ways, able to fully justify their actions as a simple necessity for survival. Despite this, Chris does show signs of remorse, going as far as having friendly conversations with his victims to explain his actions, with this apparently being quite important to him. Although it is unclear if any of the children within the group that were cannibalized were his, this decision still visibly haunts him. While intelligent, Chris was also overconfident in his group's abilities, notably underestimating Rick's group, although this was partially driven by desperation due to lack of food. This overconfidence ultimately led to the group's downfall. With the tables turned Chris hypocritically begs for the lives of himself and other members of his group, clearly terrified at the prospect of dying. Like the rest of his group, he would be brutally mutilated to death at the hands of Rick, Andrea, Abraham, and Michonne.

Not much is known about Chris's life prior to or as the outbreak began. He may have known the other members of the Hunters before the apocalypse occurred. It is also possible he had children.

The Hunters started out as a regular group of survivors but, as food became scarce, they resorted to cannibalism. Chris reasoned that hunting animals was a waste of time and that humans would be much easier to hunt and kill. They normally hunted down small groups of survivors and isolated ones, and avoided larger groups. Soon after, they had no luck tracking down small groups of survivors, and they resorted to hunting down Rick's Group because they were getting desperate and needed food.

Chris and the Hunters successfully captured Dale in the middle of the night as he was leaving to die due to a zombie bite he received earlier in the day. After learning the fact that Dale was "tainted meat" because of his wound, Chris and the Hunters beat him and decided to leave Dale in front of the church that Rick's Group were staying at. As their targets carried Dale away, The Hunters resorted to shooting Glenn in the leg, believing that the survivors would be easier targets if they were scared.

Rick's group eventually discovered Chris and the other hunters in an abandoned neighborhood. Negotiations were attempted by Rick Grimes in order to get the Hunters to stop targeting their group. Rick also found out the Hunters had eaten their own children. This was the only time Chris showed signs of remorse (hinting that it was his own children they ate), but justified it by saying it was to survive, as animals in the wild (bears in this instance) would eat their own young if they would otherwise starve to death.

In the end, Chris and the other Hunters were mutilated and beaten to death by Rick and the others to avenge what they had done to Dale and all of their previous victims. Then, his body was later burned, along with the rest of his group.

Eric is a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead. He is a resident of the Alexandria Safe-Zone, and also Aaron's work partner and boyfriend.

Not much is known about Eric's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that he may have been in a relationship with Aaron before the outbreak occurred. It is also possible if Eric lived in or near Alexandria before the outbreak.

Eric is a recruiter for the Alexandria Safe-Zone, along with Aaron. He would watch groups and see if they were good or bad; after that, Eric would watch Aaron enter the survivors' vicinity. If anything went down between Aaron and the group, Eric would step in and deal with the group by killing them. After Aaron finds Rick Grimes' group, Aaron explains that Eric is his "insurance policy... because he is supposed to kill you and save me if you turn out to be bad people." Some time later, Eric was stabbed by a woman while scouting for survivors with Aaron. The woman had tried to steal one of their horses in the middle of the night while the two were sleeping. Eric had woken up and tried to talk to her, resulting in her stabbing him and leaving with the horse. Aaron takes Eric back to the Safe-Zone, where Eric is treated by Denise. He turns out to be okay, and Aaron apologizes to him, as he felt guilty as to what happened to Eric.

Eric appears very friendly, a bit cautious, but still very vigilant as he helped Aaron watch the group from a safe distance to see if they'd be good for their community. While he's remained very quiet, he does seem to want to gain the group's trust. Like his boyfriend, Eric could be very snarky at times, causing him to have lots of playful banter with Aaron. Eric had moments of cynicism, as shown when he proposes to abandon the community with Aaron after the Saviors took over. Despite this, he decides to join Rick's coalition to fight against the Saviors, eventually leading to his demise.

Denise is the girlfriend of Heath, whom she saved after he had lost a leg, giving up her chance of survival after being bitten prior to the operation.

Not much is known about Denise's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that she was a general practitioner before. It is unknown how or when Denise arrived at the Alexandria Safe-Zone, or if she lived in or near there before the outbreak.

Denise is a young, red-headed doctor whose appearance is distinguished by her glasses, and her significance as one of three doctors of the community.
