The Transformers Audio Series (IDW)

Project Overview

Hey Everyone!


An audio dub of the Transformers comics, published by IDW, has been in production for quite some time now and the first episode has recently been released on the StarForce Media channel. This will be an audio drama in which you can read along to the comic book, with various stories in the IDW continuity being covered, such as the fan favorite series More Than Meets The Eye. The majority of the cast has already been found and they have been doing a great job so far! However, I am in need of more actors to voice a few more characters. I will be holding auditions for a few character from More Than Meets The Eye, a spotlight issue, and the Combiner Hunters one shot.

Audition Requirements:
1) A good quality microphone
2) No robotic effects in your auditions, please. I want to hear what you sound like.
3) Have fun!

I will be holding auditions outside of this website as well. This will be a long-term project, so please be willing to commit should you audition. I need reliable and dependable people and don't want anyone to disappear out of the blue.

  • Transformers Casting Update

    I would just like to thank each and every one of you for auditioning! I received some auditions outside of this website, from the Behind the Voice Actors site, as well as a couple of private auditions as well. I am extremely grateful that you took the time out of your day to show your interest and audition for this project! There was a lot of talent that I heard and a lot of the submissions I received were fantastic.  With what's planned, there will be more opportunities for more roles in the future for those still interested so fret not. You'll have another chance. Once again, thank you for auditioning everyone!

One of the members of the Torchbearers and led by Pyra Magna. When she spots three Cybertronians heading into the Sea of Rust, she proceeds to intercept them along with the rest of her team. Upon entering the battle and discovering the Enigma of Combination, an artifact considered precious to them, is in danger she and the others end up combining into the combiner Victorion. She’s fast, often running headfirst into danger without a second thought, and is determined to secure the Enigma at any cost.

  • Ma'am, do you see that?

  • (Alarmed) No!

  • Perhaps if the Enigma was hidden, kept safe on Caminus…

He's been known to be confident, arrogant, and a bit egotistical. During his time on Earth, he, alongside his human partner Hunter O’Nion, became a Headmaster and the two became one. After their separation, his experience as a Headmaster left deep wounds on his psyche and his pain turned into hatred for humans which lead him to make a deal to leave Earth in the Decepticons hands. His betrayal has been something he’s regretted ever since. He often travels with his pet Insecticon, Bob, and is rarely seen without his companion.

  • Well, it must’ve been bad if you were freaked out. I mean, what with you being so incredibly brave and everything.

  • Sorry! Sorry, sorry, sorry! Aarrggh! I spend my whole life apologizing! Just once—just once—I’d like to have nothing to apologize for!

A former member of Nova Prime’s team and was held in high esteem among Autobots and Decepticons for years. He holds the law above all else and is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure order is carried out. His convictions and guilt, however, often keep him troubled to the point where he inflicted pain upon himself, eventually finding faith in Primus. He vowed to make peace and reach Cyberutopia, but in doing so plans to annihilate all those who were constructed cold. He’ll do anything to reach his goals, no matter who gets hurt. He can be calm and often remains in control, but is shown to enjoy others suffering, eventually showing his true malicious nature. An English accent would be preferred, but he's open to interpretation.

  • Only those who are without guilt can cross over. I cannot open the portal until I have atoned for my sins.

  • Hear that sound, Rodimus? That’s the sound death makes. That’s the sound of creation in reverse—of life being unwritten, line by line.

  • Now... I want everyone within kissing distance of the floor. No one look up 'til I'm through the portal. Do it! Or I'll lobotomize the ship's mascot.

An escape artist who’s being contained under the orders of Chief Justice Tyrest. He ends up getting thrown into the same cell Rodimus and company are in and manages to escape with their assistance. He’s cool-headed and tends to stay logical under the most dangerous of circumstances. His reputation for his escapes is well known among others. While he appears to have a somewhat laid back personality, he’s someone with a rather strong opinion and will not hesitate to use his wit and cunning in order to manipulate others to get what he wants, even those that are close to him.

  • (Playful) Bomp. When you—bomp—say something funny or clever or—bomp, that’s what I do. You hate it. You say it’s patronizing. Which it is. Which is why I do it.

  • The Killswitch? I don’t really know. Going by what Tyrest told me—rant number 332—it involves some kind of common denominator Matrix code.

  • Ah. But now that I’m in here with all of you, I have something I didn’t have before. A fresh set of keys.

Whirl (Holomatter Avatar)

This is Whirl’s holomatter disguise as a human when the Lost Light crew visit Hedonia. His avatar reflects his own psyche. Whirl can be destructive and very unhinged. Losing his job as a watchmaker, he got involved with the wrong people and uses his own anger to get by. He can be aggressive, reckless, and will often do things or shoot things at random. I need a female voice for his avatar.

  • (Refers to her guns) At least mine comes with these.

  • So dropping a Cybertronian repeatedly on the floor doesn’t trigger their conversion sequence…! Tsk! Another urban myth exposed.

  • It's not been a full-on Wreckers night out, but… yeah. It’s been memorable.

Another member of the Torchbearers. Upon Pyra Magna’s decision to investigate a nearby fight with the Autobots, she ends up combing into Victorion along with the rest of her teammates. She’s strong, always ready for battle, though harbors secrets from her teammates.

A member of the Scavengers. He’s often quiet and mysterious and isn’t the smartest one on the team. He can be very trigger-happy to the point of wanting to shoot anyone or anything that ‘looks’ at him even remotely funny, which tends to cause concern from his teammates. He’s one of the most skilled fighters on the team, usually able to hold his own. He’s also an astounding surgeon.

  • The fire’s giving me weird looks, Krok. I think I’m gonna shoot it.

  • It's frikkin’ Grimlock! If he was your prisoner, and you were done with him, you’d kill him, right? You would. I would.

  • He started making little noises. First it was frightening, then it was funny, then it was kinda sad. Now it’s funny again.

A young doctor who is stationed at Delphi on planet Messatine. He, along with Ambulon, are tasked with curing patients and he’ll do anything to see it through. He’s dedicated to saving lives no matter what it takes. He cares about people and when things begin to turn south, he’ll take matters into his own hands. He’s rather close with Ambulon and forms a bond with Ratchet after joining the Lost Light.

  • Ambulon thinks us medics are more resilient because we’ve been exposed to so many diseases. Personally… I think that sometimes—just sometimes—mind… life persists.

  • I could’ve saved him, you know. Fisitron. Ironfist. I think that a lot.

  • (Angry) You’re smiling. Everything you did at Delphi, all those patients you killed, and you’re smiling?

A member of the Scavengers. He’s a twitchy Neoprimalist with huge feet who suffers from a possibly made up disease known as psychosomatic hyperreflexia which causes him to change shapes whenever he tells a lie. He can be calm when around his team, but is usually very cautious and extremely nervous in most situations.

  • (Relieved, overjoyed) He’s come back to life! It’s a miracle! A miracle!

  • (Cautious) Careful. He’s using words to confuse and frighten us.

  • (Nervous) Primus spare my spark, Primus spare my spark…
