Project Overview
Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. I present to you "The Tragedy of Killer Moth - A DC Fan Audio Drama".
Witness the origins of how Drury Walker's life falls apart when he takes on the role of Killer Moth.
IMPORTANT NOTES!! PLEASE READ EVERYTHING!!
There are tons of sensitive topics! If you are not comfortable with any of them, please do not consider auditioning.

Suicide: There are mentions of suicide throughout this audio drama
SA: One of the characters listed below performs this in some way or another (Not going to specify as I do NOT want to get too graphic on here)
Violence: It's a supervillain audio drama. Of course there's going to be some sort of violence in here
Cursing: I’m not shying away from adult language. There are f-bombs and such
Next, you MUST be comfortable and able to yell. Characters can be LOUD, and I'd rather have a peaking mic than a whispered scream or using your inside voice to shout.
This is a 1 hour long audio drama; NOT a episodic series. So when a deadline is given, I will be expecting everything be turned in by that time. The script is already written and editing will go as people submit their stuff.
MUST have Discord as that can be the most reliable way of sending in audio files.
This project will be released on February 6th, 2026. Only audition if you have time to record your lines during the months of December and January.
This is a FAN-made project with no correlation/partnership with DC. Meaning there will be zero pay, unfortunately.
This will be uploaded to Youtube (hence the want for a cover artist). But if I can figure out a way on how to do it, I can also upload the audio drama on Spotify.
Under ZERO circumstances will there be any use of Artificial Intelligence to help anybody (including myself) on this project. If I detect, suspect, or find out from any grape vine that there is use of Artificial Intelligence, you will be removed from the project.
And one might be asking "Where can I audition for Killer Moth?" To those who are curious, I have already chosen a Killer Moth : David Miranda, AKA Bat_Universe on Instagram.

Now, the hardest part, casting. There are going to be some tough choices made, and since there are limited roles, most people may not get the role they desire. But do NOT let that discourage you. Somewhere out in this world, a project needs your voice; so please, keep auditioning!
And one final thing, "Dismissed" does NOT mean your submission didn't qualify. I am simply doing that to let you know if you did not get the part instead of wondering months later.

LEAD ROLE
A confident yet trusting nurse at Arkham Asylum.
She has been adapted in Batman: The Animated Series & Batman: The Telltale Series. Very few clips of her exist online and she's only a minor role in both pieces in media. However, she has a major role in this audio drama. You can either do an impersonation of her from either pieces of media, an inspiration from either, or your own interpretation.

(Beginning of interview) "Alright, let's go ahead and get started. Today is January 31st, 2008. Today I'll be interviewing Drury Walker, who also goes by "Killer Moth". "
(Being harrassed by Frank Boles) "How many fucking times do I have to tell you, Boles? No! It will always be no and that will never change!"
(Interview: She's more interested in where the story is going) "Then what happened? I'm assuming you got away since the silk from the cocoon gun is strong enough."
The audio drama will work in a similar way to Batman: The Audio Adventures when watching on HBO Max. The background will change depending on the scene.
Below is an AUDITION image (and a picture I found on Google), not a final product.
What I am requesting is the following:
- Replace the man in the image with Killer Moth
- Add a few buildings to make it look like a city in the background
- A portfolio of some kind. If you do not have one, show me something you've created that can give me a good grasp of your art style.

SUPPORTING ROLE
A crooked cop whose more than attracted to Joan. I'd like to hear either an impersonation or an inspiration of Frank Boles from Batman: Arkham Asylum.

(Intimidating) "You better watch yourself, Joan. Or you might get into some serious trouble."
SUPPORTING ROLE
Determined and strong; she's more than Batman's sidekick, she can be her own hero.
As I was writing this, I was imagining Batgirl from Batman: The Animated Series. However, I am open to any of her younger interpretations, such as a Year 2 Batgirl.

(Stopping Killer Moth) "It's gonna take a lot more than silk to take me down... uh... who are you again?"
(Grappled onto Killer Moth midair) "GET DOWN TO THE GROUND, NOW!!"
(Sincere) "I can't provide the help you need, But Arkham Asylum can."
SUPPORTING ROLE
A "vigilante" who shows no mercy for criminals out in the streets.
Either interpretation from Batman: The Animated Series or Batman Arkham Shadow works for me.

(Cutting off Joker) "Joker, you're fun and all, but get to the God Damn point."
"Good, keep that mentality. Let someone else do the dirty work for you. Although I do tend to help out here and there."
SUPPORTING ROLE
A hot-headed mob boss in Gotham with a black skull mask melted into his face.
Any interpretation is welcome. So long as you can get angry and scream without peaking your microphone.

"You think this mask seeped through my skin, into my brain, and make me gullible enough to think a man dressed as a moth could protect me?!"

Psychotic ex-doctor who is obsessed with fear.
I'm looking for an Arkham Knight impersonation for this role.

A Cockney & cocky mob boss who doesn't like "No" for an answer.

Harvey Dent, burned on half of his body, dissociative identity disorder.
Show me you can do BOTH Harvey Dent & Two-Face. Batman: The Animated Series or Batman: Arkham Series impersonation or inspiration will work well.

Both: (Change where you feel it would be best to switch from Harvey to Two-Face) "We'll make a deal with you, Oz. Heads, we'll give you enough money to buy a ship. Tales, say goodnight to that precious horizon."

"This just in, a bank robber dressed in a purple outfit with a green mask that's similar to the shape of a moth was last spotted passing through the Gotham Skyline. Authorities say "While he is dangerous, no lives were taken." Some eye witnesses say he is the next "Batman", while others claim he's another "loser villain", but if there's one thing most witnesses agree on, his name. "Killer Moth"."
Do me a favor and SHUT UP!! Or you're next!! *Calling out* LIGHTS OUT!
