(FNAF) The Tale Of Time Recasting [Five Nights At Freddy's SFM Animated Fan Series]

Project Overview

The Tale of Time is a SFM animated series loosely based on the plot and lore of the early Five Nights at Freddy's series, using the same characters. As of uploading this casting call, we are in the process of scripting season 1, though the series has been plotted out to the end. 

While antagonists and leads shift from season to season, much of the series revolves around the cast of the original Fredbear's, being Fredbear, Spring Bonnie/Springtrap, Marionette, and Golden Freddy, who, like the FNAF 2 Withereds from the FNAF 1 animatronics, is separate from Fredbear.

The series is directed and animated by AlexTheGamerYT, whose channel hosts the animation above and can also be found in the previous works tab.

There is a plan for three 10(ish) episode seasons, as well as a mini movie for the finale.

A majority of the voice roles have already been cast. The roles on this casting call are either roles which need to be recast or never had a voice actor to begin with. Due to the amount of characters planned, as well as the fact that not every character will have a hugely major part, we are willing to cast multiple roles to a single person. Additionally, there will be 'extra' roles that we're likely to cast to whichever actor(s) on the team is interested.

PLEASE BE AWARE:

This is a fairly casual passion project. The speed of production will likely be inconsistent. Also, we're mostly in it for the fun; it's not really that serious here. :)

Freddy is the ringleader of the remastered classic crew. He takes the position of leader among the new diner, after the previous closes. 

Although friendly, Freddy is irritable and easy to provoke. For this role, we're looking for a slightly deep masculine voice, using the voice of FnAF: AR Freddy's voice as a loose reference.

Chica is a performer in the new diner, and a close friend of Freddy. 

She is an affectionate and supportive character, although on occasion she can act arrogant and sometimes shallow. For Chica, we're looking for a higher pitched peppy feminine voice, though we're not picky. Go wild!


As Chica has no canon voicelines, the following lines are comprised of both Rockstar Chica's UCN quotes, and series-inspired lines thought up for the casting call.

Debut: Season 1A

NOTES:

-This character is entirely separate from her FNAF 1 counterpart, hence the two being listed as separate roles.

Withered Chica was, at one point, a performer in Fredbear's diner, shortly before it shut down. Her & the other performers were scrapped during performance tests in favor of the toys.

She's a kind, wise, and empathetic character among the original cast of four. For her, we're looking for a voice similar to FNAF 1 Chica (higher pitched & kind,) but warmer.

Debut: Season 1B

Toy Bonnie is the "star" of the Toy animatronics. Or, so he tells himself. He is the lead guitarist in the first iteration of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, following Fredbear's Diner.

As much as he hates being a "lowly" entertainer, Toy Bonnie loves being the center of attention and loves crowds. Especially if they're on him. For his voice, we're looking for something not unlike his voice in FNAF AR. Kind of like a chipmunk.

(PROJECTED) Debut: Season 3/Movie

NOTES:

-Funtime Foxy is, at the point of his appearance in the series, in AI form, rather than physical, working closely with Molten Freddy and alongside Lolbit.

Not unlike Toy Bonnie, Funtime Foxy is a showman. Before Circus Baby's Pizza World was condemned, he was a rentable performer.

He is extravagant, loud, and occasionally obnoxious. For his voice, we are looking for one not unlike the one used in canon; Deeper, masculine, and confident.
