Project Overview

Plot:

On a cold night, miserly old Hepzibah Sefton (Around 70 Years Old) lies in her bed. But she is not thinking of her money which she hid in a dozen hiding places around her house. Her mind is filled with strange, grotesque forms and weird shadows. As her newphew, Paul Sefton (26 Years Old), and her sister Lousie Sefton (Around 65 Years Old) try they're best to help her; Hepzibah believes that they are trying to kill her as well as the monsters that she is visioning, so she decides to calls Lamont Cranston to help her, Later on the next day; Lamont and Margo walk into Dr.  Cunningham, the Sefton Family Physician. He claims that there is nothing that can be done for her for that she has epilepsy. As Lamont and Margot slowly make their way back to their car, Adam claims that there is a deadly storm nearing them and how it is dangerous to leave the Estate.

Hepzibah Sefton is a deranged woman, always believing that there are monsters who are trying  to kill her. Dr. Cunningham claims that she is suffering from epilepsy.

  • (Shrilly) Not.. . . Nol Don't do it! ... Don't let them do it! 
    You're lyingl You're imposters . . . both ofyoul You've done away with Iouise and Paul . . . and now you want to kill me ard lake my money. . . . But you won't, you hear? You won't!

  • They tried to stop me, Mr Cranston. . . . They didn't want me to phone you. But I fooled them. Oh yes . . . I fooled them! 
    You're so kind.... I wasn't even sure you'd remember me. lt's been so many years since we've seen each other.

  • (Stubbornly) Louise always hated me . . . ever since we were children. My nephew Paul is wodhless, penniless, a wastrel- just waiting to inherit my money. Then there's Adam, the hired man and Dr. Cunningham. One of them wants to kill me.

Louise is the sister of Hepzibeth, she's currently taking care of her while Heppy tries to rest.  She is known to be sweet but her sister believes that she hates her.

  • Heppy, no one's here but Paul and me... You've beeen having a nightmare. 
    Don't you know me? I'm Louise - your sister. This is Paul, your nephew.

  • (Shocked) That's Heppy screaming!
    (Aside) Poor Heppyl She's having another one ofher horrible delusions. (On Mike) I'll sit with you, dear. I'll watch over you. . . .

  • (Off Mike) Help! Paul! Mr. Cranston! Miss Lane!
    (Fading on) Paul! Mr. Cranston! It's Heppy! Something's happened to her. Look!
