Project Overview

"Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow Knows!" 

The Shadow, a man of mystery who strikes terror in the very souls of sharpsters, lawbreakers, and criminals.

This Episode is The Death House Rescue!


Originallu began in the late 1930's, this will be the begining of many Episodes to be remastered.

 I, myself will voice Lamont Cranston/ The Shadow.

*Plot*

The Year is 1938; Paul Gordon tries to find a job to support his wife Grace Gordon and his sickly daughter Sally, who needs medical treatment. With no luck finding a job, he encounters two men (Red and Lefty) who claimed they had a job for him. They needed a person who can drive them around the city. With no hesitation, Paul Gordon accepted the job. The Next day during his Job, Paul Gordon soon realizes that he is helping Red and Lefty rob a bank by being their driver. Once they robbed the bank, Red and Lefty leave Paul Gordon behind with a bag of bills and a gun that killed a Police Officer. Now in custody charged with Robbery and Murder, Paul Gordon is sentenced to be put to death by the Electric Chair. Only Red and Lefty knows the truth of this, but their is one more person who knows; The Shadow Knows......

    Well, he said the baby could be perfectly well again within a year


    [Concerned] This part isn’t so good, Paul. She’ll need treatments during all that time! Paul! Treatmentscost money! 


    [Trying to comfort Paul Gordon] Darling…


    They will dear. They’ve…they’ve got to!


    You and I are still left, Paul. And we’ve got to take care of Sally. She’s our daughter, Paul, and she’s got to have her chance!


    Darling. Perhaps tomorrow things will break for us.

    [Calm] Go to sleep dear, mother will be right here in the next room. [Door Opens] [Scared] Oh God, please help me. Help me! [In Tears] I don’t know what to do! [She hears someone knocking on the front door. She goes and sees who it is. She opens the door] [Sniffling] Yes? Who is it?


    [Worried] You’re not a reporter are you?


    [Shocked] Oh, th-then please come in! [Closes the door behind Margot] What is it you want Ms. Lane?


    *Gaspe*


    [Shocked] A thousand do-[Stops] Who was it sent this to me?


    [Relieved] Then- there is hope for Paul then?


    Who is he?


    But Ms. Lane, you know him.


    [Concerned] What do you mean?

    Then Ms. Lane, Paul Gordon was convicted of Murder by due processes of Law. Tonight, he pays for his crime in the electric chair. If the police listens to every crack who came in here with new evidence…. 


    No, but they can send a guilty man. And according to the evidence, Paul Gordon is Guilty. 


    Well, what do you want me to do? If its within reasons, I’ll do that correct.

Therefor in the according of the law, I direct that you’d be taken from here to the place where whence you came and at there, you’d be put to death in the manners stated by the law.     I don’t mean necessarily to give up your work, Lamont. But this other. Let The Shadow justdisappear, and come out openly. Join the organized forces of law and police.

    [Quick] My name is Margot Lane; I have a message for you Mrs. Gordon.


    No, I’m a friend. I’ve come to help.


    Mrs. Gordon; your husband has a friend who’s going to help him. Here’s a thousand dollars in cash.


    That’s for you and Sally.


    The man who sent this to you never fails.


    For that I can’t tell you. But the message with it is “Not to Lose Hope”.


    For that I can’t tell you.


    [Sigh] Sometimes I wonder whether I do. [Pause] I love him. But I wonder whether I know him.
