The Realm - Comic Dub
Project Overview
The Realm is an original fantasy action-adventure series that blends the wonder of Alice in Wonderland with the epic scope of The Lord of the Rings. The story follows two teenagers who discover a mysterious door hidden within an ancient tree and are transported to a magical world filled with strange creatures, powerful magic, and an ancient evil determined to return. As they search for a way home, they become caught in a conflict that could determine the fate of both worlds.
We are currently casting for the comic dub adaptation of The Realm Issues #1 and #2.
At this time, we are looking to cast two male characters and one female charatcer. This includes one lead role and two supporting roles. Voice actors of all experience levels are welcome to audition. We're looking for performers who can deliver natural, engaging performances and help bring the world of The Realm to life.
This comic dub is part of a larger vision for the franchise. Our ultimate goal is to develop The Realm into a full-length animated series, and we're looking to build a talented team of voice actors who can grow alongside the project.

Voice Actor
Quinn is a young elf with a restless heart and a strong sense of justice. Although his magic is still developing, his determination to master it never wavers. Bold, curious, and compassionate, Quinn is not afraid to question the traditions of his people or challenge the authority of the Clan Elders when he believes they are wrong.
He dreams of a Realm where the divided Clans stand united once more and is willing to risk everything to make that vision a reality. Despite his youth, Quinn possesses quiet courage and an unwavering belief that even one person can make a difference.
Voice Direction: Quinn speaks in a formal, articulate manner and rarely uses contractions. His speech is thoughtful, sincere, and carries a sense of optimism and conviction. He should sound youthful (late teens/young adult) while conveying intelligence, empathy, and quiet confidence.

Voice Actor
River is a young Merfolk princess who carries herself with quiet confidence, compassion, and wisdom beyond her years. Gifted with natural magical ability and beginning to develop her rare talents as an Oracle, River often feels the weight of responsibility placed upon her. Though she values tradition and respects her people, she is willing to follow her own conscience when she believes it is the right thing to do.
Kind-hearted and deeply empathetic, River always seeks to see the good in others, even when those around her are quick to judge. Her courage is not loud or reckless but steady and unwavering, allowing her to remain calm in the face of danger. Driven by a desire to protect both her family and the Realm, River believes that trust, understanding, and unity are stronger than fear.
Voice Direction: River speaks with confidence, authority, and purpose—the voice of someone born to lead. Every line should carry quiet strength and conviction, as though she is accustomed to giving direction and protecting those around her. Her voice is clear, articulate, and commanding without being harsh or arrogant. While she is compassionate and kind, there is never uncertainty in her words. She should sound like a young leader whose people trust her for guidance, protection, and hope. Think of a confident commander rather than a delicate royal. She is youthful (mid-to-late teens), but her maturity, composure, and sense of responsibility make her sound wise beyond her years.

Voice Actor
Jason is a bright, enthusiastic teenager with a boundless passion for video games, tabletop games, miniatures, and fantasy worlds. Once he gets excited about a topic, he can talk for hours, eagerly sharing what he has learned and inviting others to join in.
Jason is autistic and often misses social cues or subtle hints that someone may not want to continue a conversation. Rather than recognizing when to step back, he keeps trying to connect, believing he is being friendly and helpful. His intentions are always genuine—he is kind, loyal, and deeply caring, even if his communication style is unconventional.
Voice Direction: Jason should sound like an upbeat teenage boy (14–16). His speech is energetic, sincere, and slightly fast-paced when discussing his interests. He tends to speak literally and earnestly, with little sarcasm or hidden meaning. Above all, Jason should come across as authentic, lovable, and well-meaning, making him an immediately sympathetic character.

Voice Actor
Russ is the kind of teenager who has never been told "no." Coming from a wealthy family, he is confident, cocky, and thrives on being the centre of attention. He enjoys intimidating students he sees as weaker than himself, especially Isaac, and often masks cruelty as "just joking around."
Russ is impulsive, arrogant, and quick to anger when someone stands up to him. He believes respect is earned through strength and intimidation, making him a classic school bully. Despite his bravado, he is insecure underneath it all and lashes out whenever his ego is challenged.
Voice Direction: Russ should sound like a confident, athletic teenager, he grew up playing rep (Travel) hockey in Canada. His delivery is casual, cocky, and sarcastic, with a tendency to sneer or mock others. He speaks quickly, throws out insults with ease, and enjoys getting under people's skin. He should feel believable—not cartoonishly evil—but like the popular high school bully everyone has encountered at some point.
