The Reach
Project Overview
The Reach is a short story about two boys having to make a choice between following their passions or helping someone in need.
It's a short story that will be posted on my youtube channel. There's no money involved and I can't really give out pay, but I will give credit for those who help. The main purpose of this is to spread the Gospel and to relay the message of putting other's needs above yourself.

Eric is a Sophomore in high school. He's trying out for the football team one of the best teams in his state. Deep down he's nervous but tries out with his best friend Ryder who's a devote Christian. Despite being an athlete he also devotes his studying at his church with Ryder and has an interest in apologetics.

[Confused, Stern] What are you talking about? We have to make it to the tryouts! We've been waiting for this day for months remember?
[Catious] Sigh, we're in this together I'm right behind you.
Ryder is an energetic and passionate Sophomore, with a tragic past. He was a homeless orphan around the 5 and was found by a very kind man who was a devote Christain. Being shown love and overcoming his past he also became passionate in his faith. His goal was to be a professional athlete to take care of the people around him, but he's always willing to put other people first.

[Making are hard decision/ Passionate] Yea, I know, but some things are more important. I can't sit back knowing that I could've done something I couldn't live with myself.
Jeremy is a young boy who seems a bit emo and pushes everyone away, but deep down he struggles with a lot of pain and is afraid of letting people in. He's been rejected by everyone he was close to and now feels hopeless, or without a purpose, but he learns to trust others and to put his hope in Christ.
