The Pushover Wizard - A Fantasy Audio Drama Shorts
Project Overview
Hi I'm Meng, a voice actor just like you! I've had this creative itch to make short fantasy audio stories and plan to hopefully post many on Youtube. This project is the third of many of the episodes and is still a concept as I am learning the ropes/steps on how to efficiently post on Youtube and is working with a video editor to finally make this happen. All I need is my story to come to life with your voice! Here is the script for the audio story.

In return, you will be given the audio file to use as a sample for your profile, credited, and a written recommendation (your website/CCC). I use to make voice over demos and have experience in audio engineering. So if you have been wanting a sample to showcase your voice, this project is just for you! You can also listen to my own demo I produced on my profile to get an idea of what I can do.
Instructions:
Please provide no more than 2 takes each line abcabc format. I'm not strict on adlib/improv.
USB, Condenser, or XLR Mic preferred with little echo and background noise (do not clean or edit your files! Make sure your gain is just right as I will do all the editing and cleaning on my end!).
If chosen, I will send via email my recordings of my lines to you and you will record lines on your own time using the edited audio with music and sfx as reference.
Have fun! Once I figure out the rhythm on posting on Youtube and such, there will be many projects in the very near future. So follow for more!
Story Setting:
Remy the knight recently lost their mother during a battle with the undead. The guild’s wizard Francis attempts to comfort them in their own awkward way. Both characters can be played by any vocal types, however, please follow their vocal characteristics.

Can be played by any. Must sound Raspy, tired, gangster, hoodlum, punk, no nonsense type character. Remy is a strong and respectable guild knight, but not a leader. Remy's mother Amy is the guild’s leader, but due to her passing from a recent battle, Remy becomes the next temporary guild leader (for reasons). Remy looks up to their mother’s kindness and ability to find qualities in everyone and attempts to follow their mother’s footsteps starting with Frances, their timid guild wizard.

(getting worked up in a good way) Just cuz you know only 1 spell doesn’t mean you're weak. A simple hammer is meant for nails, but you can use it for so many other things too like crushing nuts, or using it as a door stopper. You just gotta be creative and get stronger.
(Rekindled determination) Your push spell can only be used on one person. Where going to make it stronger to take down at least 3 people.
(Threatening holding a sword at a proned ruffian's throat) Don’t even think about moving.
Can be played by any. Awkward, Timid, Nervous, green, unconfident, lacks charisma. Everyday, Francis has been labeled the most useless wizard only able to learn 1 spell for unknown reasons. With this constant degrading, they have given up hope on ever becoming a great wizard for their guild. However, the only person that showed belief in their skills was Remy’s mother Amy, the guild’s leader. She passed away and now her son/daughter Remy the Knight is the new reluctant leader of the guild. Francis comes to Remy to pay their respects after a gruesome battle with the undead again.

(hurtful sigh) I’m sorry for your moms passing. (rushed) She was a great knight like you and meant so much to the guild… especially to me, despite being the most useless wizard in the world heh. (2 seconds pause) That is all. Have a great morning, I mean evening. Please excuse me.
(New Confidence, Narration) After ten years of training with sir Remy, I’ve mastered the push spell and was capable of pushing not just 3 enemies, but whole battalions.
