The Program: A Sims 4 Machinima series
Project Overview
Voice actors ONLY needed for a Sims 4 Machinima project that I’m working on titled The Program, based off the book series by Suzanne Young.
The Program is a story about a dystopian world in which Suicide has been declared a national epidemic. Anyone under the age of eighteen who exhibits signs of suicidal ideation is immediately taken away to The Program, a six week course in a facility which will guarantee a 100% recovery rate, but at the cost of the patients’ memories and senses of identity.
Please note that this series will contain a lot of mental health/mental illness content, as well as other things which may be upsetting to some people. Please don’t audition unless you’re prepared to handle that. Also, there is no payment for this project. It’s 100% a volunteer job.
More characters will be added on an as needed basis and once I’ve made the Sims in game I will post their pictures with their roles. For now, the ones listed here are the ones I would like the most.

James Murphy is the boyfriend of Sloane Barstow. He is 17 and cares very much not only for her, but for all their friends. He’s overprotective and has a good sense of humor, but is also a rebel and has the tendency to get into trouble often.
Because I’m looking to make the voices sound as realistic as possible, only males or females with extraordinarily low voices may audition for this role. Thank you.
You know I'm never going to be able to not kiss you again, right? For the rest of my life, every time I look at you, I'll have to kiss you.
You're right, you know. You're just right for me. And I'd bet my life that we've done this before. Because I can't imagine that I wouldn't have fallen in love with you the first time.
I already know your sister is smarter. She's prettier than me too, but I didn't bet on that. I just wanted you to call her in here so she'd look at me again. It was worth the five bucks.
Sloane Barstow is the main character. Most of the story is seen through her eyes. Her older brother Brady died when she was younger, and her family hasn’t been quite the same ever since.
I think that sometimes the only real thing is now.
I’m so alone it’s like being dead but still conscious.
I want to be me, and yet I’m not sure who I am.
Michael Realm is working for the Program. When Sloane is admitted to one of its facilities, Michael is assigned to her case to keep her calm, unbeknownst to Sloane, who simply sees her as a friend. Michael chooses to simply go by ‘Realm,’ and is very cool and collected most of the time. He can also be very blunt. He’s 19.

Lacey Klamath was a very strong, opinionated rebel until she became depressed. Once this happened, she was escorted to the Program, and has only just now come back out.
Hint number one: pack your own lunch. I’m pretty sure they put sedatives in the food.
I’m convinced that eventually one of us will remember something, and then the entire system will break down.
What can I say? I’m an anarchist.
Miller was Lacey’s long term boyfriend up until she was taken and brainwashed by the Program. He has been desperate for any news of her and is eager to get her back and help her remember him and their friends in any way he can.

Roger is a handler who works for the Program, and he’s known for being a very shady one on top of it. There have been reports of him sexually harassing girls that go into the Program, or offering them memories in exchange for sexual favors. All in all, he’s a terrible man.
