The pocket watch (old casting call, updated version up)
Project Overview
The pocket watch is a series following the protaganist, a dectective named tempus aged 32 as he discovers the many secrets of his past, family and the world around him. This series contains anthro animals instead of humans and will contain dark themes such as drugs, violence, mental illness, etc.
Overall series summary:
Tempus owns a pocket watch, however this watch is special, it moves significantly slower than a normal watch and both hands have yet to hit 12. After years of trying to figure out what this watch is, he has concluded that something special or significant (either negative or positive) will happen when both hands hit 12.
This series, whilst containing non-human characters, is set in our universe (mainly the UK) and contains a variety of unique characters.

Tempus is a detective in his 30's and the main protaganist, he is a european hare (however his fur is an unnatural yellow which i may tone down to be more "earthy" and less saturated)
Their voice is quite low and rough, he isn't a loud person but can be assertive when he needs to.
(a good quality mic with a space or area you can record sound with minimal background noise is preferred ^^)
(observing a crime scene, voice is a low rasp,snarky remark) "Well, whoever did this must still be living with their mother, they certainly can't clean up after themselves"
(tired, just woke up) "Fine, i'll be there at like..12:30"
(shouting,agitated) "I'm fine! How many times do i have to say it?"
(trying to prevent tears/crying, voice is shaky) "I just....don't know what im doing with my life anymore,everyday is the same yet it's all so chaotic at the same time"
Heather is a western barbastelle bat, she takes on a more punk style and ideology, she is a supporting character and one of Tempus's friends.
She is a loud and bubbly character that cares deeply for others and isn't afraid to stand up for them, always allowing others to vent or rant to her.
She is around the same age as Tempus, from 30-33
(also i am currently in the process of creating ref sheets for all the characters so some, such as heather, are missing some atm)
(slightly annoyed, dramatic) "we literally planned this out last night! We said we would meet at 12."
(laughing) "Now, why on earth would ya think that?"
(somber) "Look, i'm just worried for you, ya know you can talk to me if somethings wrong right?"
Stephen is an average street rat that takes on more of a hippie life style, he's in his early 50's and is married to beatriz, who is also a hippie.
He is passionate about the enviournment and loves giving advice to people, normally having a calm deamenour.
(relaxed,giving advice) "y'know you just gotta appreciate the small things in life, worrying about what you don't have is gonna get you no where"
(laughing,tears of joy) "Haha you did it!! You really did it!"
(calm, small remark with a hint of irritance) "I wouldn't reccomend shopping at big corparations, y'know, gotta protect the enviournment and all"
Beatriz is a crocodile, following her husband, stephen with the hippie style
Beatriz's voice can be quite dramatic and over the top, normally when showing affection, she has a lot of confidence in herself and enjoys littering people with gifts, she also talks about her enviourmentally friendly store at any chance she can
(cheerful) "It's always a pleasure to meet new people! Remember to check out our store"
(complaining) "It's always so cold here! And all my clothes are loose and don't insulate the heat"
(muttering, embracing significant other) "Always remember that i will love you matter what, you mean so much to me"
Houdini is the second protaganist/ main antagonist (switches depending on what point of the series it is), he is a domestic goat who has been deemed as unstable and a danger to himself and the public, he has a notourious criminal record and was a problem for local police for a while until he was finally locked up in what was believed to be an unescapable cell. Houdini, of course, has a track record of escaping prisons and mental wards,etc (hence the name). He and tempus have a strong connection to eachother without having ever met (if you don't count their past)
Houdini's voice is pretty much all over the place, ranging from high to low and he is often hysterical
(shouting, enraged) "YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE LOCKED UP FOR YEARS ON END, COMPLETELY ISOLATED"
(realisation, shock)"I-...I know you,"
(hysterical,laughing,gasping for air) "pffhAHA! HAHA!! I- I CA-CANT DEAL WITH YOU ANY- ANYMORE"
Micheal is a leopard gecko, around 18-22 and they work at a local store as a cashier
They are your typical, laidback young adult with a kind of "surfer dude" accent, despite their aloof behaviour they tend to be cowardice at times
(chill, not paying attention) "Yeaahh dude, mhmm totally"
(fearful) "Yo dude, like chill out"
(emotional) "It was like...horrible bro!! Look at me- im- you see that??? Im shaking bro"
