The Pancake Nation | A multi-fandom space
Project Overview
Ever seen fandub channels like "Warrior Cats Fandub" or older ones from other fandoms posting funny comic dubs or playing games together and wished you were part of that?
Because the Pancake Nation is meant to be just like that, just with more variety because I'm honestly very indecisive so I figured I'd just make it multi-fandom. For now, only three fandoms are included but I'm aiming to add more as the demand comes.
This is my first time actually making a project on CCC so I'm just gonna be upfront with saying we aren't looking for professionalism or anything. Just be a decent person and give it your best shot with whatever character you'd like because we're looking more for someone who can play the character convincingly. Not necessarily by voice but more through the feelings put into the lines.
Overall, we're aiming to just have a nice little community where up to 3 people can all have the same character and whoever is available during an event or something can step in and record. Anything else I'm always open to discussing so just make sure you have discord because we will be recording in a discord server and hopefully posting it in a little youtube channel for fun.
I will also warn that my timezone is GMT+2 so if you get chosen, I hope you can work around that somewhat...
Back to the point though- Please provide your discord username in the description of your submission and you can probably see that I stopped caring with the lines at one point so just speak as you see fit and you can additionally introduce yourself or say anything you'd like to say before or after your lines so we know more about you(all optional though).
This isn't a paid project mostly because I'm broke and because this is just for fun so I hope you're not too disappointed. (Although I am hoping to one day hire an artist and/or video editor for the server/channel when I have the funds so idk-)

A bright eyed child with a curious heart, Niko is a very kind and caring child. They often choose to help others but displays a certain indecisiveness when it came to saving the world they were brought to or going home.
And despite the more obvious cat traits, they still claim not to be one...

A sentient system that had struggled to uphold the world it was given until Niko showed up. It appears to be a stern and pessimistic character, mostly being hopeless and self-destructive. It seems that it has a sense of altruism, deeming Niko as the only real being, and so would only wish for their safety.
In the Solstice ending, it is shown to be less hostile but more anxious and worried. Though not completely approachable in personality, it expresses a somewhat neutral company, being understanding to a degree.

A child of the ruins and under the care of her older brother. Alula is a cheerful young girl, often being very calm and positive in most situations, in contrast to her brother's timid and concerned nature. She also makes many jokes.

A child of the ruins who takes care of his younger sister. Calamus is a kind, sensitive, and anxious boy, evidenced by his care and protectiveness over his sister.

[Shocked] You're the Messiah?! But you're just a kid!
A prodigious tinkerer and child of the Author. Cedric is intelligent and often speaks in a formal manner. He is shown to be brave when he jumped off of a ledge and parachuted down Refuge, as well as risking his life to bring Prototype back by heading into the unstable factory. He cares deeply about Rue and Prototype.

[Panicked] Prototype! What happened?! Don't worry- I'll do what I can to help!
[Overjoyed] You're okay! I'm so glad you're okay!
A bot who had been waiting for the Messiah as long as he could remember. Prophetbot is not tamed, limiting his emotions and reactions. However, he does appear excited about the prophecy and fulfilling his purpose. He also seems to care about Niko when asked about going home, though he may be programmed to say these things. Because Prophetbot is not tamed, he does not feel lonely.

[Alarmed] The world is crumbling as we speak. If you don't return the sun, it will cease to exist...
[Excited] You're welcome! My purpose is finally fulfilled!
A child of The Author and a predecessor to the Prophetbot. Prototype is an apathetic, cold, and analytical character. When giving information, he tends to not show any trace of emotion, contrasting Prophetbot. Additionally, Prototype is tamed.

[Factual] Of course they don't remember. They're NPCs. They aren't meant to remember.
[Tone is up to you] Now isn't the time for confrontations. Continue this session by fixing the Rowbot for now.
The brilliant and highly respected head engineer of the Refuge. Kip is a lively and eccentric individual who enjoys making jokes and is shown to have enough energy to constantly keep working, as pointed out by one of the workers in the factory. Kip is also generous, letting Niko take her library card to progress further in their adventure, as well as one of her bottles of glitter glue. Kip is devoted to her work, to the point where she doesn't go outside or get to see much of the world because she spends all her time building robots.

[Happy] Oh! Is Silver doing well?
[Curious] You need a library card? You can take mine if you want.
[Awkward] Sorry, I can't really leave... I need to finish my work first...
The Barren's head engineer. Unlike Prophetbot, Silver is a tamed robot, meaning she can act somewhat outside of her programming. Due to this, her reactions and emotions are more similar to an organic being than other robots in the World. Silver is pessimistic and reserved, keeping a neutral, apathetic expression at most times. When she first meets Niko, she gives the impression of a melancholic skeptic; she does not believe that the Sun will fix the World or that the messiah should carry such a burden, but still helps Niko with their journey.

A tired-looking man who seems to subsist purely on gallons of coffee. The Lamplighter has a nervous and awkward disposition, often trailing off his sentences. He's a bit self-conscious, and startles easily. He is diligent and very dedicated to his job.

The friendly proprietor of the Refuge Café. Ling is a kind-hearted and diligent person, with an optimistic attitude. He is extremely kind towards his customers, as evidenced by Niko's visit to the Café.
[Happy] Here you go! One stack of pancakes, on the house!
[Curious] Being the Messiah must be a lot to handle, huh?
[Amused] Cheer up, Plight! I got your morning coffee right here!
An easygoing merchant and purveyor of fine goods. Magpie appears to be social with whoever might be his next customer. Additionally, his behaviour seems to reflect real-life birds at times, such as with his like of shiny and/or colourful objects. His shop working on bargain, and he has some bartering skills. He may be reluctant to trade some objects precious to him, but can do so if necessary.

Don't see your desired role or even fandom in here? Then I probably forgot to add it or thought a character won't be able to be voiced a lot but either way, you can still audition! Just give a small intro to the character/fandom you'd like and optionally something about yourself and have fun!
I'm always open to adding other fandoms like Henry Stickmin, Stardew Valley, The Apothecary Diaries, That time I reincarnated as a Slime, "So I'm a Spider, so what", Pokemon, Project Hail Mary and many more! Just try your luck and if your fandom isn't one that has already been added, I'll more than likely add it to our list and edit the description of this project to let people know they can also apply for those once there are roles for said fandoms being taken.
