Luz Noceda is the main protagonist of The Owl House. She is an eager, teenage Latina human[2] who accidentally stumbled upon a portal to the Boiling Isles in the Demon Realm, a dimension where magical creatures are real, and humans are despised and treated as lesser beings. She is the only known human currently residing in the Isles.

King Clawthorne is the tritagonist of The Owl House. He is a small demon who is Eda's adopted son and sidekick. Although he once sought to restore his supposed title and glory as the "King of Demons," he is currently trying to find his long-lost father and reunite with him.

Hooty is the titular character of The Owl House. He is a house Demon, the Owl House itself, and acts as the guardian of the Owl House. He is also attached to the door of the house.

Amity Blight is a supporting character of The Owl House. She is a prodigious young witch who attends Hexside School of Magic and Demonics. Although she was originally depicted as an antagonist, Amity has shown lighter shades to her nature after bonding with Luz.

Gwendolyn Clawthorne is a character of The Owl House. She is a member of the Beast Keeping Coven, and the mother of Eda and Lilith Clawthorne.

Raine Whispers is a character of The Owl House. They are the newly instated leader of the Bard Coven, and a former partner of Eda. They later founded a small rebel cell known as the Bards Against the Throne, with the intention of liberating wild witches who don't want to be forced to join a coven.
Raine is also the first confirmed Non-Binary character in a disney show.

Lilith Clawthorne is a supporting character of The Owl House, serving as an antagonist in the first season until "Young Blood, Old Souls", and a main character as of the second season. She is Eda's older sister and the former leader and historian of the Emperor's Coven. She is currently staying with her parents, trying to make up for lost time and to develop a cure for the curse.
Lilith Only has one line which is narrating a letter.
Hello, Hootsifer. Your letter concerned me. You write of feeling unimportant while Luz, Eda and King are off on adventures. But Hooty, you are the Owl House. You take care of everyone inside you. If that isn’t a worthy purpose, then what is?
