Axel is Drake's boyfriend at the start of the series but eventually in the series, Aria/Alex exposes that Axel is a slut who cheated on Drake and only used him for power over his pack.
Axel studies magic and eventually after high school uses a potion on Drake, trying to get revenge on Aria/Alex but Aria/Alex's and Drake's love beat Axel, but Axel eventually gets redemption and turns good and uses the magic he knows for good.
