(Woman VA Only) Do You Know Where Your Kids Are?
Project Overview
This listing is specific to prioritize woman voice actors for the project.
The New Cryptid Paranormal Adventures of Amateur Investigators is a reimagining of Cryptid Paranormal Investigators, originally created by Moral-Skull Productions. This new version will rewrite and retell a cohesive story, blending familiar characters with new faces, all under the umbrella of MetaChrome Studios, where our focus is on original audio dramas.
The series captures the spirit of classic monster-of-the-week shows like Scooby-Doo, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, and Goosebumps, while also drawing inspiration from the eerie charm of old internet creepypastas. If you were once a creepypasta fan, this project is for you.
the story follows Zeke Batson, a teen reintegrating into the strange world around him after years of isolation. As he begins high school, Zeke meets new friends - Fauna and Naomi - and together they face a string of creepy, unsettling events that blur the lines between the paranormal and reality.

*Main cast*
A school-appointed chaperone assigned to observe and guide Zeke as he reintegrates into society. Sharp, disciplined, and very by-the-book, Fauna presents herself as professional and controlled. Of Indian descent, she carries an unspoken past of trauma - and possibly other motives beneath her composed exterior.
Voice Direction - Fauna’s professionalism and maturity should come through in tone and delivery. She speaks with authority, precision, and composure. Her demeanor is firm and occasionally stern, but not unkind - her words should feel measured, intentional, and rooted in experience.
- The first line will be a character introduction and will help determine if the character can be embodied by the actor.
- The second line will be an emotion-based line. This will test the actors ability to tap into a characters emotion.

My Name is Fauna Verma, I am originally from a small town in Idaho. I am currently finishing high school, where I have been asked to chaperone the new student around. I have a lot of goals for my adult life, hopefully I'll be able to obtain a PHD in psychology one day.
I've spent my whole life running from my past, and trying to redeem myself. Every time I get close, there's something in the back of my mind telling me to breakaway from this pseudo-life I've built or myself.
*Main cast*
Naomi Fletcher - An aspiring investigative journalist with dreams of uncovering big stories. As a dedicated member of the school newspaper, she has a knack for noticing details others overlook. Naomi is intuitive, a little zany in her approach, and deeply fascinated by Zeke’s story - perhaps more than she should be. African American, she brings warmth, intelligence, and an infectious energy that makes her both fun to be around and a formidable match for Maya’s composed, by-the-book style.
Voice Direction: Naomi’s voice should feel lively, curious, and intelligent, with a playful undertone. She balances warmth and humor with sharp intuition, switching easily between lighthearted banter and serious probing when her journalistic instincts kick in.

Hello Everyone! My name is Naomi Fletcher, I am the president of the school news paper. My friends and I enjoy some true crime here and there, but one of my biggest obsessions is the case of Zeke Batson. There's so many unanswered questions.
There are things in this world that don't make sense. However; just because you are scared and cannot comprehend them, that does not mean you should punish people for it.
Cryptid Kids - The unstable, eerie minions of The Attendant. These children behave unpredictably, their innocence twisted into unsettling, erratic actions. They are small but unnerving presences, amplifying the sense of dread whenever they appear.
Voice Direction: Chaotic, high-pitched or unnervingly childlike, with sudden bursts of laughter, whispers, or distorted tones. Actors should convey instability and unpredictability — a mix of playful innocence and underlying menace.
I'm far from your little princess. I was a special case for my master. So when you hear my laughter please be worried.
Mrs. Verma - Fauna’s mother, a kind and caring woman with a warm presence. Sweet and nurturing, she provides comfort and guidance, but is capable of being firm and stern when the situation calls for it. A genuinely nice older lady, she brings stability and wisdom to those around her.
Voice Direction: Warm, gentle, and approachable, with a subtle strength beneath her kindness. Her tone should convey caring and patience, but with the ability to assert authority when needed, giving her words weight without harshness.

I'm Fauna's Mother. I'm Very proud of the woman she has become. Hopefully she will achieve her goals in life, a mother only wants what's best.
Heckle Hyena - An eerie, talking hyena with a thirst for blood. Menacing, vicious, and gleefully cruel, she delights in chaos and terror, using her sharp wit and predatory instincts to intimidate and manipulate.
Voice Direction: Snarling, raspy, and sharp. Heckle Hyena should sound predatory and gleefully cruel, mixing animalistic growls with cunning, almost playful malice. Her delivery should make listeners feel both amused and threatened, as if danger lurks behind every word.
