SERIES SUMMARY
“After making a very questionable bet, Adrien Dewstone is tasked with solving Several infamous murders that have plagued the small town of Westershire for over 3 decades now. Although, it seems our Detective knows a lot more than he’s initially letting on, and certain allies of his throw into question Adrien’s true morality, and why he’s actually solving these murders, a question which local ex-reporter Samson Rodgers is determined to figure out... Oh, and everything is made significantly worse when Jesse gets involved, but we will cross that bridge when we get to it!”

RULES FOR AUDITIONING
If you are discriminatory in any way, whether it be Homophobic, transphobic, racist or ableist, stay as far away from this comic as possible. Not only do I want nothing to do with you, this Series has many characters who are either Disabled or a part of the LGBTQ+ Community, so it is NOT made for you.
That being said, You do not have to be a part of any specific communities listed to audition, everyone is welcome!
Only audition if you are 15+.
Please have as little background noise as possible in your audition.
You must have Discord, that is my only real way of communication! Please state your Discord handle somewhere on your audition!! Mine is T0astedR0bin if you need to reach out at all.
This project will be long term, so please only audition if you plan on sticking around!
Put emotion into your auditions! Please do not sound like a robot.
The due date is the 30th of September! I may push that back depending on the amount of auditions I get though!

Corvix is a nervous wreck. They want and need everything to be perfect, correct by the rule book EXACTLY, to the finest details! If it isn't.. They throw a fit to say the LEAST. They're the forgotten Higher [ God ], nobody truly cares about Corvix, and so they are destined to prove themself, no matter how.. Awkward they look.

[ Disgusted to Cheerful ] - Yeah.. Yeah that looks.. *Gag* Great, wonderful.. Uhm.. *Clears Throat* Crimson, I'm here to ask, uh, how is everything?? I know it's only been, what, a few weeks? But.. Er, the other's are halfway through their plans and stuff sooooo..."
[ Horrified / Whispering ] - Crimson what are you doing!! We're gonna be in so much trouble, The Producer's gonna hang me for this, eek or worse! I'm gonna be a laughing stock, Crimson PLEASE think about this!! Please??
[ Irritated ] - At least you KNOW who you are, Scarlet. I don't, I never get such a luxury, I get a slap on the wrist for existing, you get praised.. It just, doesn't make sense, we're two sides of the same coin, yet.. I dunno, it's dumb.

Salmon is cooky, Salmon is stupid, Salmon is everything Adrien despises personified. They talk in great detail about the day they found the deceased Ribbons, but gloss over the ACTUALLY IMPORTANT THINGS. No, Salmon, we do not need to know why you found a specific tree artistically interesting, we are talking about a dead person, Salmon.
[ Recalling ] - So then I- I- I found a tree, right? And, I know you're probably thinking this has NOTHING to do with the case, but- but trust me, there was something about this tree.. There was something, it was a strange tree, you see where I'm going with this?
[ Confused ] - Hey, I've seen you 'round before?? You were at the scene that day, I remember that, you were there.. What was your name again, Detective?
[ Taken-Aback ] - Wh? I'm not accusing you of anything, sir! I'm just merely stating but.. Fine, I'll back off.. I just thought it was- str- strange, that's all.

Cassandra is a playful bartender! She only really appears in one episode, and insanely briefly, so if you get her you will likely be asked to voice someone else later, as she barely appears.
[ Sarcastic ] - Oh my, if it isn’t Ms. Breeze, in my bar for the 30th time this week! What can I getcha’, valued customer!
[ Cheerful ] - Impressive, right? Ah, that's just Raven Breeze for ya, best damn Detective The Crimson City has ever seen!
[ Intrigued ] - Dewstone, hm? Could've sworn I've heard that name before, have you cracked any cases of recent memory, Mr Adrien?

Fisher is quite a Positive character indeed! He's cheerful and fun to be around, as well as a great Dad to his three kids! How does he do it, who knows? He has been more reclused as of late, especially after his wife's disappearance. Fisher is one of the FEW in Westershire who firmly believes Dawn Spire is still alive.. Perhaps he's just giving himself false hope.
[ Excited ] - kiddo! Wanna see something hehe.. Magic? What do you mean you don't believe in it, psh, that's YOUR loss, my son! Don't insult my talents until you've seen em, Samson! I promise it's impressive!!
[ Sombre to Saddened Positivity ] - I.. I get that, Samson, I really do.. This wretched war will be the death of us all, I'm telling ya.. Then again, the Highers wouldn't allow for such bloodshed, right? I can't imagine they would, at least.
[ Panicked to Relived ] - Samson?! Oh Samson, thank the Highers I found you bud, where in the gods names were you? You had me and your siblings worried sick out there I- *sigh* Come on, let's get out of this cold, then you can explain everything, and I mean everything.

- This is a strange preference, but I imagine he sounds something like the Southern Atlantic Accent, which was how everyone sounded in the 1940s - 50s, if that can work?? Otherwise, typical posh British accent preferred.

Marcus is the protagonist of my series, Adrien Dewstone's father! He is silent, very much the stereotypical gentleman of the 1940s. He's viewed by his peers as perfect, a perfect father, husband and otherwise.. That's only really as true as he wants it to be, Marcus is a wee bit too obsessed with his image, and is rather frantic when he's perceived in the wrong or, god forbid, has to break the norms he's tried so hard to uphold.
[ Formal ] - My, I'm rather impressed Miss, Mittens, was it? I say, would a fine lady as yourself care to take a walk with me, perhaps?
[ Conflicted ] - You know I'd love that more than anything, my dear, but.. My job as mayor would be taken as soon as I say yes, everything I've worked so hard to upkeep I can't.. I- I'm sorry, truly I am but- I cannot associate with such.. such preposterous ideas..
[ Frustrated ] - Do you think I want to keep doing this?? It's killing me, Miss Mittens, it really, truly is.. You don't seem to understand how important my occupation is to me- It's not more important than you but I- I cannot just give it up, I just can't, stop asking of these deeds, I beg of you.
CONTENT WARNING!! This is the only character that deals with heavily implied physical abuse, PLEASE keep this in mind if auditioning. Nothing is ever shown, but content may still be triggering.

Patricia is a nervous wreck, entirely due to her controlling and horrible husband. She almost always stays quiet, rarely speaking unless directly spoken to. That being said, she is nothing but kind, as well as soft spoken, truly someone Benjamin Robinson did not deserve, unfortunately that was only realised far too late..
[ Nervous ] - G- Good day to you, Mr W- Watcher.. I hope you're doing well..
[ Scared ] - I- I- I didn't say a- anything, I swear I didn't!! Please, Please Benjamin just- Just let me leave.. I don't- I don't like this anym- anymore..
[ Intrigued ] - A- Aren't you Mitzy's kid, Adrien huh? Hah, you seem polite, j- just like Marcus, that's- that's for sure!
