The Masked Angels {Gacha Series}
Project Overview
INTRODUCTION
Welcome! This is the first ever casting call for "The Masked Angels" A Gacha animated series. We are casting more characters appearing in our pilot.
The series will follow two teenagers, Hope and Grace, whom had been wanting to become a singer since forever! Now finally getting a chance by a singing competition!
ALL ACCENTS ARE WELCOME.
While our story is based on teenagers in a school, we can accept any accent!
WHAT TO EXPECT
This project is my own original idea and is collaborated on by a team of volunteers. Expect a welcoming, exciting, and collaborative environment-- but also expect to receive criticism and extensive direction. We may be volunteers, but our team is made up of industry professionals and quality is a priority. We will set soft deadlines, but we vow to accommodate our cast and crew's personal schedules to a reasonable extent. This position is unpaid, although we will help actors to get adequate resources as best we can.
We meet and work through Discord. A discord account is mandatory to partake in the project.
RULES AND GUIDELINES FOR AUDITIONING
This round of auditions will close . We do not plan on extending this deadline.

As per Discord's terms of service, you must be at least 13 years old to audition. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Some roles will require you to provide at least two takes to audition. Take note of your role's description.
You must follow us here on CCC. Otherwise we will not be able to contact you.
You may audition for (and even be cast in) multiple roles.
We are looking for clear and quality audio. No fans, chatter, or other background noise please!
This is an original project and therefor will work at a different pace than a traditional production. Many of the characters will feature in multiple episodes. Please ensure you are properly committed to the role and project

A quiet new girl at the high school who's fond of singing and dreams to become a famous singer one day but the only thing stopping her is her stage freight
(Anxious) "Hi, well uh, I'm Hope Romero, and... I like song writing"
(Stressed) "O-oh, yea I'm fine, It was nothing.."
(Happy) "Okay mom, Well I'm off, wish me luck"
An energetic girl who's obsessed with playing guitar. She's pretty wild and confident at the same time and can pick up a fight with who ever
(Excited) "Oh, I've gotten P.E and I expect you got it too. OH and you must be Grace! Looks like the rumors for two new students we're true"
(Normal) "I heard that today we are doing some gymnastics"
(Happy) "Hiya Hope! How's ya first class been?"
A quiet girl who likes playing the piano. She's cold and very sarcastic and can get serious most of the time
(Annoyed/Angry) "Hey! Call me shortie one more time and you'll regret being born!"
(Sarcastic/angry) "Oh great. Just great! We'll definitely win the competition, with broken masks!"
(Happy) "Sound's great! I love the beat!"
A senior girl who likes playing the drums. She's highly educated yet still dreams she could be known for her drumming skills
(Excited) "Guess what! I'm gonna get new drum sticks!"
(Happy) "That sounds wonderful! We're so gonna win!"
(Annoyed) "Get out Sasha! before I call the principle, and you know well that I never joke."
A senior girl who's fond of making music and helping people. She's kind and mature enough to handle any situation
(Happy) "Damn, that's quiet a neat beat!"
(Annoyed) "Hey! Careful to not spill your tea over my laptop!"
(Excited) "O-oh my! This seems perfect for the competition!"
A charming yet wise boy who's popular and caring. He's quiet confident and bold, protective as well, smart enough to out-smart some people
(Happy) "Dang, your voice is so angelic!"
(Supportive) "Don't let her get to you Hope! Your way better than her!"
(Angry) "Oh god Kayden! You know Sasha's gonna find out one day, and when she does you'll be as good as dead!
Mother of Hope, Meet Olivia Romero. Olivia Romero is a wise yet clever business woman. She's a smart middle Aged widow.
(Calm) "I'll be in the car, don't make me wait long"
(Slightly Annoyed) "Get up Hope! You're going to be late!"
(Calm) "Oh stop messing around, hurry along and find your class"
A mother of one of the main characters aka Grace, meet Natalie Lawrence! She's a widow yet sweet, caring, a bit protective and really supportive! She'd sacrifice anything for her Children!
(Happy) "Oh your awake Grace! I've made muffins for breakfast, here"
(Calm) "Well finish it up, I'll be waiting in the car"
(Excited) "Go on Grace! Good luck"
A really humorous yet sarcastic teenager boy who is currently gold digging his girlfriend (Sasha White) He has a twin brother called Aiden. They both are the complete opposite in nature!
(Sarcastic) "Ay new girls! Your gonna learn nothing but how to fight back against bullies!"
(Calm) "Just relax Aiden, Sasha would never know"
(Angry) "Hey! We claimed that table first! Get off losers!"
A rude and stubborn teenager who think's that he is the only one whose right. He's Grace's ex boyfriend.
(Annoyed) "It was you who ruined the both of us Grace!"
(Angry) "No matter how hard I tried, our relationship couldn't stand together... All because of you and your useless need's!"
(Sarcastic/Calm) "I suppose Kayden is right, we shouldn't let some girls get tired over basketball"
Hope's brother, whose 2 year's younger than her. He's quiet clumsy yet really sweet and kind. He enjoys music a whole lot.
(Happy) "Woo! We got pancakes for breakfast!"
(Exausted) "Ughh... Today was tiring, like a lot, I got lots of homework too! On the first day can you believe it?!"
(Angry) "Hey! That last muffin was mine! How in the world did you even find it?!"
A cold mean teenager whom supports Sasha. She's really help full and kind, she can also go to extreme's.
(Sarcastic) "Sasha's right, get lost brat!"
(Angry) "Hey! You do know that Sasha wont let it go that easy!"
(Annoyed) "You herd her! Go mind your own Business!"
A quiet, shy yet secretive teenager whom was a friend of Sasha but now she hate's her secretly. She doesn't want to be with Sasha, but has nothing to help her get out of the situation.
(Calm/sad) "Yes Sasha, what ever you say"
(Sad) "God, I can't do this anymore, I cant stay with Sasha!"
(Anxious) "If she finds out.... she can make me get kicked out of the school.... I've seen her do that to many people.."
A sporty and bold teenager whom is one of Sasha's gang member's. She's really tough and love's playing football
(Annoyed) "Oh great! My orange juice spilled, again!"
(Happy) "Yess! This is what they deserve after trying to rank themselves higher than us! I love this plan!"
(Calm) "Fine, we'll settle this the hard way, first to get 4 goals in a foot ball match with your team, wins!"
Mikayla a rude stubborn teenager whose best friend is Sasha. She's completely bossy but still does follow Sasha's order's
(Excited) "Yay! This would leave them hopeless for sure!"
(Annoyed) "What do you need, if nothing you can get lost."
(Sarcastic) "Oh look who it is. Our daily crackheads."
A clever understanding teacher whom does not tolerate noise or miss behaviour very well.
(Happy) "Amazing! The presentation was outstanding!"
(Calm) "Now as everyone has settled down, I would like you all to meet our new students!"
(Angry) "I feel like as if you'd like a round of the principle's office Kayden? Now go"
A calm yet wise old man whose the principal of my series. He's quiet clever and can figure out thing's easily
(Calm) "Alright, here are your paper's and you should be heading to your class now"
(Angry) "That's enough! Hope, Grace, Sasha and Mikayla! To my office now!"
(Sarcastic) "Oh like ruining their chance of winning would increase yours young Sasha!"
An enthusiastic yet serious host who loves cracking jokes. Every year she hosts a singing competition for the school, and the students seem to enjoy it!
(Excited/Happy) "Welcome students and teachers to the singing competition! Oh boy do i have a treat for you this year!"
(Enthusiastic/Happy) "Take your seat's ladies and gentlemen and hold on, because this competition is about to take off!"
(angry) "What?! Don't tell me that the speaker's aren't working!"
Sasha White is your daily popular brat, she's just perfect. She's athletic, She's Popular, She's pretty, She's rich and she sings like an angel. And of course taunts and bullies other kids. (edited)
(Angry) "H-HEY! Watch where your going idiot!"
(Mocking) "Oh, a new brat? I thought you we're a guy to start with"
(Annoyed)
"Ugh, this would not last good for you y'know?!"
A cunning yet clever 9 year old whom is really active and fun. Her sister is Grace. Heather is quiet smart and playful
(Mocking) "Get up Grace! Get up Grace! We'll be late because of you, AGAIN!"
(daring) "Get up or I'll tell mom~"
(Happy) "Bye grace!!"
