A Lion King/Lion Guard fanfiction audiobook.
A long while ago before Kion's Lion Guard was made, Nala had a friend, a very close friend.
This friend's name was Nirmala.
After a forbidden romance, Nirmala was forced to leave her one true love. She became so embedded in grief that she gave up her only cub out of despair. Nala agreed to raise the cub as her own and tell everyone including the cub that she was it's mother.
But somehow, Nala didn't think that the cub, Kion, would be better off living this lie...

Fuli is a compassionate character. She is shown to be occasionally prideful and snarky but will put others before herself. She is very selfless and will put others before herself when needed.
If you loved him.. you would tell him the truth!
Kion... you and I both know it’s more than just a cut. It’s hurting you.

In this audiobook, Kion is a very insecure character. He previously had a great amount of confidence in himself, but lost faith in himself after going through trauma.
(Though Kion is a teenager, I’m looking for a voice that’s more on the younger sounding side).

A cheetah cub who is like Fuli’s little brother. Went through trauma at a young age but has a strong spirit and always manages to push through. He is a very inspirational character.

Our main villain. She visits Kion in his dreams and tortures him (she can attack him in his sleep). Her main goal is to break Kion into submission and get him to do whatever she wants.

Mwepesi is Fuli’s father and our side villain. He is very cruel to say the least, and has no mercy on others. He is WAY worse than Scar.

Nirmala is a character that is very calm and patient. Sometimes she can let grief about her past get the best of her, but she means well.

Nala is a spirited character. She is self-empowering and always does what she thinks is right. She makes mistakes, but those mistakes were always in the intentions of helping a loved one.
I think we should name him... Kiongozi. It means leader.

Bunga is a very bouncy and energetic character. He doesn’t often think his actions through and usually goes with the flow.
