The Lego Batman Series

The Lego Batman Series

Project Overview

A new fan series starring the Dark Knight himself. The series will be a callback to the Animated Series of the 90s. It will be dark, clever, and action packed.

---UPDATE---

I'm blown away by the talent that has been displayed for this project. So, I'd just like to say that if you are not cast in the role you wanted, I will probably offer you an open role. Thanks, and good luck!

  • Casting

Hey guys! Today is the last day to audition, and I'd like to thank everyone who has already done so! I've been blown away by the talent displayed, and I know that your guys' voices will make this series! Once I cast the roles, be sure to check the comments section of this page, because I will also be assigning understudies to the roles. If you are an understudy, you will have the option of voicing a character if the person intitially cast can no longer continue with the project.

  • Role Offers

I'm actually quite alarmed at the talent that has been displayed for this project. So, I'd just like to say that if you are not cast in the role you wanted, I will probably offer you an open role. Thanks, and good luck!

Harvey Bullock is a sympathetic young man, and Gordon's protege. This version will be almost nothing like his 90s counterpart, although, again, that's not to say that the old Harvey Bullock isn't great.

  • The Commissioner's been acting funny.

  • How does Gordon put up with this?

  • I never liked the dentist, but are you sure about this?

The Dark Knight will have minimal dialogue, and every line will be as grim as possible. Have a deep voice, and if you can, imitate Kevin Conroy. NO CHRISTIAN BALE!

The Clown Prince of Crime is an insane psychopathic murderer with the murkiest past known to man. I would prefer an imitation of Mark Hamill, but other voices are welcome, with the exception of a Heath Ledger impression. Not that I don't love Heath Ledger, I'm just going for a more classic Joker.

Just a heads up, I was planning on voicing on The Joker myself, but I also wanted to see what else I could work with.

The head of the Gotham PD, Gordon allies himself with Batman in order to better stop the crime that is overflowing his city. Any impression of any of his incarnations would be welcome, although I would prefer you to sound like the Gary Oldman performance.

A field reporter for Channel 5 news, Brian Tucker has seen it all, and so he is very deadpan, very blunt, very cynical, and often inappropriate. He will be one of the series' few sources of comedy. When doing his voice, think of Kent Brockman from The Simpsons.

  • Good Evening, Gotham City. This is Brian Tucker, coming to you live from City Hall.

  • You saw it here, folks. Ted Frisk makes a complete ass of himself. This is Brian Tucker, highly disturbed.

Harvey Dent is Gotham's extremely popular District Attorney and Bruce Wayne's best friend. Unfortunately, behind his big smile lurks a multiple personality disorder, destined to turn him into the evil Two Face.

This Harvey Dent will go 2 or 3 episodes before becoming Two Face, so make him warm and friendly in your audition.

Salvatore "Sal/Sally" Valestra is a classic, Italian- accented, fedora- toting gangster and the most powerful mob boss in all of Gotham City. Word is that he was acquainted with The Joker before the villain's fateful date with a vat of acid.

To voice this character, you'll have to look up Sal Valestra, watch the video on YouTube with him and The Joker, and imitate his voice.

  • You've done me a great service, my old friend.

  • Here's the 200 grand we agreed upon.

Ted Frisk is a popular councilman who will (Spoiler Alert!) eventually become The Mayor. I cannot stress this point enough: Ted Frisk looks and sounds like Bernie Sanders. This is no reflection of politics, I just think that the possibilities are endless.
