Welcome to the casting call for "The Legend of Zelda: Sprout of Hope." This is a fantastic comic created by zelda-freak91 on Tumblr and I am so excited to have gotten permission to dub it. A friend and I already released Part 1, which you can find above but now that more characters are entering the story, we're in need of new voices. Please read below for rules and expectations.
Summary
This is a comic set in the kingdom of Hyrule, post-Breath of the Wild. While exploring Hyrule, Link and Zelda have an encounter with the Yiga. Link obtains an unfortunate wound in the battle which, though appearing to be minor at first, soon reveals itself to be something far more deadly. Meanwhile, the world itself is beginning to show signs of decay.
While I don't know much more about where it's heading than the rest of the audience, I will say that the start has me hooked and I'm looking forward to getting to voice the rest of it going forward.
Expectations
1) Takes -- Please give 2-3 takes for each line. Order does not matter to me.
2) Sound Quality -- Please only audition if you have a decent mic. XLR is preferred, but USB may be accepted if the sound quality is good enough. No background noises, and please do everything possible to reduce the sound of plosives, background noise, and the like.
3) Commitment -- Committed individuals are preferred. The comic is ongoing and I don't know which characters will be recurring, so it would be incredibly helpful to have actors willing to stick around in case their role resurfaces later on.
4) Deadlines -- Deadlines should be made whenever possible but I completely understand that sometimes life has other plans. All I ask is that if cast, you keep us posted. Deadlines will be quick, but can be delayed several times where necessary. If we have to delay it too long, however, your role may be recast. Please don't feel bad if this happens. I understand that this is unpaid work and your life takes priority, so there will be no hard feelings if it does come to that. It will only be a decision made in the best interest of the project.
5) Communication -- Must be able to communicate via discord or email. Discord is preferred, but email can be accommodated.
