Hey everyone! Agent Fluffy here! I’m doing a fanfic reading of a fic called The Legend of Spike: Discord’s Mask written by DiabloGuapo! It’s a multichapter crossover based off of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. It’s about Spike trying to save Trotina (the MLP version of Termina) and Clock Town from the incoming apocalypse. Because the entire fanfic itself has 51 characters to audition for, I decided to split it into 6 different casting calls. This one covers chapters 8-10.
This will also be the casting call for 2 people to get the same role. One is the main VA and the other is the understudy.
By the way, this is an unpaid project.
There are some roles available but first, let’s go over the qualifications and rules before sharing what VA roles I need.
Due Dates for Lines (if you are chosen):
Chapter 8: June 16th, 2022
Chapter 9: July 29th, 2022
Chapter 10: August 30th, 2022

Below are the qualifications and rules of the casting call for VAs:
Qualifications:
VAs:
1. You must be 17 years old or older to audition for this project. By submitting your audition to this project you are validating that you have met the age requirement.
2. You must have a decent or good quality microphone. (It doesn't have to be professional studio quality.)
3. I'm also looking for your ability to act as the character(s) you are auditioning for. The voice does not have to be show accurate. Your ability to act the character is most important to me.
4. I'm looking for committed, accountable and reliable VAs that will:
Review the scheduled due dates and submit your audition(s) ONLY if you can meet the scheduled due dates.
Once you have been accepted as part of the team, accountability includes:
Checking in once a week with your status on assignments.
Immediately informing me if you need help or something has happened to change your availability that would put your due dates at risk. This would enable us to work together on a resolution PRIOR to due dates.
READ ALL THE RULES CAREFULLY BEFORE AUDITIONING!
Rules:
VAs:
1. Leave three (3) seconds of silence at the start of your audition recording BEFORE you say the audition lines of each of the character(s) you are auditioning for. This enables me to listen to your background noise and if needed to determine how much background noise I’ll need to remove during your recording.
2. You must have multiple takes in your audition so I can hear your emotional range of your voice. Three (3) takes are required.
3. I require you to send your audition files separately! (Meaning in one file and one character in each of your audition recordings with 3 takes intact for each line (Line 1 3 times, Line 2 3 times, and Line 3 3 times in that order), not one file for each take separately and/or doing all the characters you are auditioning for in one file! Plus I need it to be raw audio.)
4. I require your audition file(s) to be in either wav, mp3, or m4a format for audio (mp4 or wmv for YouTube auditions).
5. Send your completed audition lines to Agent0Fluffy @gmail.com (no spaces) or the Casting Call Club website, under my casting call page.

Process
Casting Call: Details of call are in sections noted above.
Casting Call Results: A casting call results video will be released on May 20th (sometime before 11:59 PM EST). At the time of the results, if you are selected, I will immediately need the following from you. Please send this information to my email Agent0Fluffy @gmail.com (no spaces) to keep in contact and to turn in VA lines:
Either your email, Skype or Discord
Work: VAs create lines and turn in on or prior to due dates.
Staying in Contact: Weekly touch base on your status. This could be a quick chat, email and/or message.
Production: Once all lines are submitted, I will edit / produce the video.
Release: This fanfic reading will be uploaded on YouTube once it's finished.

Big Mac is an earth pony that is strong willed. He is Applejack’s big brother. He talks a lot in this story. He has a southern accent.
Vocal Range: Low
1. (sad/explain) Ah saw a dark mare fly towards the shrine in the mountains and it started to snow. Ah reckoned that she was responsible for the strange weather, so Ah went to stop her. (dramatic/depressed) When Ah was headed to the shrine, a blizzard came out of nowhere and caught me by surprise. The blizzard knocked me off the path into the ravine… and now… here Ah am…
2. (infuriated) How infuriatin’! Ah have to sit here and do nothin’ as my friends freeze their flanks off! Ah would do anythin’ to help them! *sigh in hopelessness*
3. (desperate/begging) Please! Do somethin’. Anythin’! Ah would do anythin’ if somepony could give me rest and heal my troubled soul!
He’s the unicorn guard that guards the door to the Northern Mountains that Spike heads to next. He’s firm, authoritative, commanding and is very serious about his job.
The voice is up to your interpretation.

1. (order) Hold it right there!
2. (commanding) It’s too dangerous for a little dragon, like yourself, to leave the town alone! I can’t allow-
3. (protest) But, Your Majesty… (concede) *sigh* Yes, Your Majesty.
This earth pony guard is freezing from the cold of the Mountain Village. He is mourning and shivering. The voice is up to your interpretation.

1. (mourn/shivering) If only B-b-big Macintosh hadn’t died, H-h-h-he could s-save us from this c-c-curse.
2. (mourning/shivering) I don’t know, b-b-but it’s tradition to have t-t-two watchponies stationed at the grave of a hero for a w-w-week. *moan in despair*
3. *scream in terror* (scream) A zombie! (plead) Please, Mr. Zombie, please don’t eat our brains!
This other earth pony guard is freezing from the cold of the Mountain Village. He is mourning and shivering. The voice is up to your interpretation.

3. (exclaim) Big Macintosh is alive! He’s alive! Come on, we need to tell everypony!
Mrs. Cake is a loving, caring and doting mother to her 2 baby twins. She cares about her filly and colt. She is also Mr. Cake’s wife. She has a Canadian accent and a motherly voice.

1. (sheepishly apologize) Sorry everypony. The commotion must have woken the babies. (comforting) Ssshhh, don’t cry. Daddy will be home soon.
2. (weary/tired) Good morning, What can I do for you, Big Mac? (apologize/tired) I’m really sorry, but I can’t seem to get them to settle down. They haven’t calmed down for more than an hour since Carrot left.
3. *sigh in relief* (relieved/tired) Oh, thank you! I’ve been so worried about him. I told him not to go, but he insisted that he had to go.
Bulk Biceps is a buff, and huge stallion. He is proud of his muscles even though he can’t fly very well. He is loud and proud. He yells a lot.

Trixie is a boastful, cocky and arrogant unicorn. She always boasts about her magic tricks. She was once a rival to Twilight.

1. (shout) Shaddup! Get the door, there’s somepony outside! (annoyed) Well, don’t just stand there, come in! You’re letting the cold in!
2. (boast/conceited) It was nothing. The Great and Powerful Trixie is glad to help those less fortunate than her!
3. (yell) Shaddup! Make yourself useful and help that pony to the fireplace! Can’t you see that he's freezing to death?! (annoyed) Honestly, you have as much brains as a bag of rocks.
Mr. Cake is Mrs. Cake’s husband. He has a fatherly voice and cares about Mrs. Cake and his babies.
Vocal Range: Medium-High
1. *shivering/teeth chattering*
2. (suddenly worried) Am I dead? (confused) What happened? The last thing I remember, I was heading up the trail to the old shrine. I heard a noise, like the whinnying of some angry ponies, and then I woke up here.
3. (shocked) You’re going back out there!? It's too dangerous! The last time you went, everypony thought you had died!
Scootaloo has a rasp in her voice. She is strong willed and is part of the Cutie Mark Crusaders. She is energetic and has a tomboy personality.

1. (disappointed) Well, that was a total bust.
2. (confused/worried) Yeah, but where could he be? We've already searched everywhere in Ponyville. Everypony has! Rainbow Dash has already checked Froggy Bottom Bog, Ghastly Gorge, and Rambling Rock Ridge. Fluttershy has even searched the Everfree Forest with her animal friends. Where else could we look?
3. (cry out) I told you, I don’t know! I’m not Rainbow Dash! (try to reason) Look at me! I don’t even have a rainbow mane!
1. (trying to motivate) Come on ya’ll, we can’t quit after two days!
2. (thinking) Hm, Spike? (playful) That’s nice in all, but how about ‘Grasshopper?’
3. (explain) The ghosts. They come around this time every year to steal our apples. (annoyed) My sister says that Ah’m just dreaming, but Ah’ve seen them! (sad/pouty) But you believe me, don’t you?
