Katlyn Rose is the main character. She is self centred and egotistical desiring to become a great author. She has this constant façade of calmness, but is constantly, twitchy, paranoid, with Machiavellian tendencies.
"Oh, I am just a little tired, I think it might be the drink." Pretend you're disinterested.
"I knew there was something troublesome about him,” Be gleeful and prideful when saying it.
“Oh, here we go again. Always, John, John, and John, along with a dash of Oscar.” In a complaining almost sarcastic tone
John Rose is the husband to Katlyn Rose. He is normal not mentally all there, and have only a few lines.
"It is just rather a shame, he was such an inspirational man,” Sombre or dissapointed
"I wished I never married you" Say it in a slurred, mumbled speech as John Rose was not cognitively there
He is the brother-in-law to Katlyn Rose, and the brother to John Rose. He is the main side character, and trying to be moral type of man. Thomas is the one that searches for the murders.
"It’s not about measuring, it is about what is your heart, and your heart is a good one." More of a mentor and sounded.
“You’re being selfish. I am not having a very good time as well. Someone murdered my best friend, and my brother is going into madness. Learn some stoicism.” Disgusted and replused
"Why did it had to you? WHY YOU, OF ALL PEOPLE?” Pure visceral rage.
Jennifer Tailor is quite boastful, yet she is still good natured, and more kinder. She only has a couple of lines. (She's American)
“How’d you think on the new book?” very energetic.
“There has been talks of a prize my husband may win,”
The narrator can be either gender. During most readings they have a professor's edge to them, but should have the capacity to be hushed, or excited, or show distain when needed.
"Katlyn was bent over writing manuscripts of something that will never see the light of day." More of an explanation
"Now, as fast as she possible could she fixed the white arsenic powder within the sugar, and flour." Excited and hushed
"More months went by, and Katlyn had finally finished her manuscript for her stolen novel. " Triumphed
“I heard that book you are writing, I can help you, the idea is fantastic.” Enthusiastic and encouraging, like a camo guide
"How is John, it just, he hasn’t really been out and about, I am getting quite worried,” more soft and gentle while keeping that warm atmosphere
