Casting Update: Both Elowen and Varik have been cast. I'm going to give it another day until I cast Aria and Linna, since I've gotten so many good auditions for those characters.

Project Overview
Hello, welcome to the official casting call for " The Land of Nythral: A Memory Unbound" A Dungeons and Dragons style, Choices Matter Audio Adventure, where the viewer's choices change the outcome of how the story ends.
PROJECT DURATION
Short Term - One and Done
(However, if their is a plan to do a sequel or other audio adventure using characters from this one, I will make sure to message voice actors about that, and ask if they'd like to reprise their role... REPRISING YOUR ROLE IS NOT A MUST. You don't have to if you are busy, or just wanted to do the one project. I totally understand with that. However at this moment, this is just a one and done with project with the project itself and characters)
SYNOPSIS
In a land governed by magic and mystery, the Dungeon Master / Narrator begins the tale of Aria, an individual waking up in the mysterious forest of Nythral without any memory of who she is, where she is, and what her purpose is. As Aria ventures forth, she meets Elowen, an elven mage, who helps her understand where she is and what she needs to do to get out of Nythral. On her adventure (with the help of her viewer), the people she is accompanied by and the way the final battle happens is all up to the decisions the viewer makes. Aria's journey is filled with challenges, puzzles, and decisive moments narrated by the DM. However, as she proceeds, she's unwillingly pursued by Varik, a dark sorcerer with ambitions of harnessing Aria's lost memories for malevolent purposes. The DM guides listeners through a web of choices, each affecting different parts of Aria's journey: will she and her companion reclaim Aria's memories and avert Varik's dangerous designs, or become lost in oblivion? The choices, and thus Aria's destiny, are placed squarely in the listener's hands.

RULES FOR AUDITIONING & CASTING
- Recording Quality: High Quality, little to no background noise
- Accents: Accents are mentioned on the roles. Accent should be proficient enough (if that makes sense).
- Communication: We will be using discord, so you must have a discord account. If you don't have a discord account, but I like your audition. We may be able to work something out with sending lines and communicating through email. But for the most part, Discord will be the main form of communication. I'm pretty sure most voice actors (and people in general) on CCC have discord, so shouldn't be a problem.
Not much else to it other than enjoy yourself when auditioning.

Description: Aria is the protagonist, and the character the viewer (audience) plays as. She is a character with a mysterious past. The individual lost her memories and is on a quest to rediscover them. This character's emotions are intense, ranging from confusion and vulnerability to determination and bravery.
Voice Notes: Neutral, adaptable voice as the player embodies the character, and in some cases chooses the line that Aria says.

(Aria just witnessed memories and visions through a mirror known as the "Mirror of Recall") I saw... visions. Glimpses of places and events, but it's all so fragmented.
(As a choice, the Aria/The Player can choose to trust Elowen. It results in this response) Elowen, I trust you. Let's uncover the secrets this glade holds.
(At the end, Aria has a choice to either confront Varik after the battle, this is what she says first) Varik, this was never your destiny. You can find another path.

(NOTE: Depending on player choices, it will either Elowen OR Linna who guides/assists Aria on the journey.)

This glade has been here for as long as our songs have been sung. It's a place of reflection, insight, and sometimes, revelation. The forest speaks to those who listen.
(The player chooses to decline Elowen's guidance.) I understand, Aria. The forest respects those who seek their truths. I'll be here if you need me

(If she assist's Aria on Journey) A fierce nomad warrior who assists Aria on the journey. She has a strong, determined demeanor, but also moments of tenderness.
(If Elowen guides Aria on Journey) A scholarly elf who works in The Elven Archives.
Voice Notes: Confident, robust, with an undertone of warmth.
(NOTE: Depending on player choices, Elowen OR Linna will guide/assist Aria on her journey.)

Description: A Bard that Aria meets in the Elven Camp. Helps her make the decision of deciding to talk with Elowen.

SHADOWY FIGURE
Role Size: Minor
Description: A mysterious figure that we don't really get much of. The figure knew Aria in the past, and now seems to be with Varik and his shenanigans. Is he evil or good?
Voice Notes: Low and gravelly in the throat.
(Both the OLD BARD & the SHADOWY FIGURE will be voiced by the same voice actor.)

SHADOWY FIGURE (With Varik): You underestimate the power of memories, Varik. Aria might not remember everything yet, but the forest does
