Knights and Pawns - The Knight Part I (New Roles Added)(DCADU)

Project Overview

First of all we want to say thank you to everyone who auditioned on our first casting call. This casting call will be open for a significant time and will be updated as we need new characters.

Overview

The Knight is an audio drama that focuses on Gotham City and the Bat-Family. Season One will focus on Jason's first year as Robin, With Batman trying to focus on locating an old foe Wrath. Other heroes and villains will pop up but they wont be heavily focused on.

I am still writing Season One as I'm opening casting so lines and the class of these roles (Main, Side and Cameo) may change as I write the season.

Audition Requirements

  • Please have a clear microphone with as minimal background noise for your audition

  • Record and Submit in AAABBBCCC Format, If you don't its is ok but we would like multiple takes

  • Please add your discord username in the audition submission.

The Future

We have plans for the future of the project, however we do not want to bite off more than we can chew. There are plans to play around with the larger DC Universe so keep an eye out for other auditions.

Legal

Keep in mind that I cannot pay anyone as I do not own the rights or licence for these characters, this is a purely fan created project and therefor we cannot accept any money for the creation of this project.

Scene Example: Gordon is talking to Montoya about going into Mercy General (Which is on fire after an explosion) to find Scorn and to have additional units inside the building to secure it.

  • Batman is about to exit Mercy General with The Joker, I need you and the rest of Major Crimes to contain that damned clown and transport him to Arkham immediately.

  • Where did you hear that?

  • That's some good work, Montoya. I'm sure Batman has it covered but he's as cryptic as ever so I want you to go inside and find Scorn.

  • I was in the middle of surgery when the explosion went off. I nearly killed my patient but I'm lucky I didn't.

  • All I felt was that I had a patient on the table that was depending on me to save their life, so I did.

Scene Example: Mercy General was bombed by Wrath and Scorn, Montoya and the rest of the GCPD is out the front of the hospital waiting to enter after The Joker has been removed from the on fire building

  • I overheard a nurse talking about another vigilante dressed in grey, Batman hasn't worn his grey suit since he arrived in Gotham, and none of the other “Bat People” wear colours like that. So another one is inside. My money is on Scorn.

The Bat-Computer should come across as analytical and devoid of any sort of emotion.

  • Case 0410, Wrath and Scorn. The Mallory brothers took the mantle of Wrath and Scorn to aid the criminal class in their endeavours
