Plot
After the great war in 2023, humanity is facing the verge of extinction. To prevent that from happening the remaining people create a diverse country called Axis, which is located in a simulation.
Hundreds of years later a rebellion starts when people discover files containing information about the outside world. The government takes action by deporting people outside the wall surrounding Axis. They start to test and brainwash the youth to prevent further outbursts. But what happens when one of the test subjects escapes?

Elpis (Elle-pis) is a strong girl Kalypso befriended while being kept in the laboratory. Although people around her are trying to break her, she is determined that she won’t give in.
(despair, shouting) Run! Run Kalypso! Go! Just get out!
(broken) Why… why would you do that to me? I trusted you… I trusted you!

Harvey is a scientist which specializes in humanoids and is one of the main scientists working on the testing. He rarely stands up for himself and others use that to manipulate with him.
(confused) I‘m sorry, but I thought you had other people to take care of that. I already finished my work here.
(pleading) Please, listen to me. I can explain it.
Age: 22 (turning 23)
Voice: soft, distant, youthful-but not too high (any accent)
Astrea (AS∙TREE∙AH) is a very quiet girl and only speaks to Mars. She doesn’t fully comprehend what’s going on around her and spends her time watching the stars,drawing and spending time with Mars and can get chaotic when he’s not around.
insecure) I’m alright… I guess. I was just a bit worried that… that you wouldn’t come back. (sad) It-it’s just that, the outside world sounds so dangerous and I don’t-I don’t want you to get hurt.
(happy)*giggling* Thank you so much. I love it. No, I mean it. Thank you. It’s perfect.
(Shocked, confused, crying) Why-why are you yelling at me? What have I done? Please-please don’t do this. You’re scaring me.

Voice: Medium/Low, STERN (any accent)
Mars was studying to become a doctor before he ran out of Axis with Astrea. He was adopted by Astrea’s parents when he was 18. Others find him intimidating, but he is only trying to provide a better life for Astrea.
(cold, aggressive) Don’t you ever talk about her like that.
(calming) Hey, hey don’t you worry about me my Angel. Nothing is going to hurt me. I’m going to be okay.
(singing - it doesn’t have to be good, quiet) Twinkle, twinkle, little star, How I wonder what you are

Sky is extremely seductive and can be very disrespectful at times. Because he is strong and defeated all of the humanoids he encountered in the past, he thinks that he is worth more than the others.
(seductive) Hey,I was wondering. When was the last time you had any fun? Like real fun?
(cocky, careless) C’mon old man, stop getting in my way. It’s not like she said she’s not interested, right?
AGE: 25
VOICE: spunky (any accent)
Xiris (ZEE∙REESE) is Harvey’s girlfriend and is the only person that doesn’t use him. She tries to be as independent as she can be and not rely on Harvey. She loves to watch TV, especially her favourite series.
(half asleep) Awhh… c’mon babe just one more minute. Why do you always have to leave so early?
(suspicious) Where were you last night? I called Theo, but he said you were with me, which I know you weren’t. What’s going on?

Voice: Clear, light (Any accent)
Norah was born outside Axis and had to find a way of surviving without depending on others. While she might share some similarities with A, unlike her she tries to see things from the positive side.
(happy, on verge of crying) I can’t believe I found you. You’re actually here, alive in front of me. I-I am so happy. You have no idea how long I was searching for you.
(sad) Do you ever think about me? Or am I nothing to you?

VOiCE: Medium/low, Confident (*any accent)
*before she was required to have a non-american accent, but that changed
Artemis, who refuses to be called by her name, was born outside Axis and is the most experienced in the group when it comes to surviving. She can be very narrow minded and arrogant and is never afraid to express her opinion. She calls herself a realist, although others see her as a pessimist.
(sarcastic, seductive)Oh are you trying to get some action? Well let me kill that creature and maybe we can work something out later pretty boy.
(worried, a little annoyed)But this time please keep to the chart - I didn’t draw it up for nothing, you know. And I ain’t gonna be dragging your body around once you starve yourself, because you’ve gone and gifted all your supplies to that damn sister of yours again! We need you.
(emotionless) Why are you saying you are sorry? It’s not your fault. People live and then they die, that’s how life works.
AGE: 50
VOICE: Mature (any accent)
Axel Jett is the head of the laboratory and is a very intelligent, yet forgetful man. He has known Beatrix ever since they were little and is determined to show people the good in her.
(stressed) I’m just not sure that we’re doing the right thing. You know I agree with what you stand for Beatrix, but isn’t there another way?

VOICE: medium/low (British accent preferred)
North ran away from home when he was 17 and is the leader of his group. He is fascinated by stories about the Earth and treasures them more than anything. He is very caring and positive, yet gives off a mysterious vibe.
(calm but assertive)That’s it… That’s it, calm down. Okay… I’m going to remove my hand now. And you are not going to scream this time, okay? I just need you to cooperate with me. We are going to talk, and after that you can leave if you want to.
(sad, low, almost lonely)It’s almost strange, in a way… I can’t remember the last time I saw someone new. It feels so alien to me. I used to see dozens of faces each day, but now I can barely remember anything about them. I miss that... the people. I truly do.
(broken) No, no, no, this was not supposed to happen. Shit what do I do? What do I do?!
Age: 47
Voice: Low, seductive (British accent preferred)
Beatrix Gwen is the president of Axis and is trying her best to prevent outbursts. She is a very elegant and intelligent woman who is willing to do anything in order for things to go her way.
You should all be proud of yourselves. We will protect this country and bring back peace once again. (chanting) We fight in the name of peace!
(seductive) You know, when I ask people to do me a favour, I always get what I want in the end.
