Audrey, an aspiring music producer, downloads an obscure preset pack while looking for new sounds. At first, it seems completely ordinary—a collection of synth presets, drum samples, and project files.

Hidden among them is an unlabeled audio recording.

The recording is from an unknown man.

His voice is calm, tired, and strangely familiar.

He claims he's trapped.

Not in a room.

Not in a building.

Inside the files themselves.

He doesn't explain how it happened. He only asks Audrey to help him.

At first, Audrey believes she's stumbled across an elaborate ARG left by the creator of the preset pack. Curious, she begins digging through the files, discovering encrypted folders, corrupted recordings, and hidden messages embedded in audio spectrograms and project metadata.

Each puzzle uncovers another recording.

Each recording reveals another clue.

Eventually, the recordings begin providing GPS coordinates.

Believing she's getting closer to rescuing the mysterious man, Audrey follows them.

The locations seem random at first—an abandoned parking lot, a forgotten trail, an empty drainage tunnel—but each hides another piece of the mystery: an SD card, a USB drive, an old cassette tape.

Each discovery reveals more of the man's story.

Or so it seems.

As Audrey continues the investigation, strange things begin happening.

Files appear that she never downloaded.

Recordings reference conversations she hasn't uploaded.

Her computer behaves as though someone else is using it.

The man insists that time works differently where he is.

He begs Audrey not to stop.

Finally, the last coordinates lead deep into the woods.

Armed only with a flashlight and her camera, Audrey follows the trail until she uncovers a weatherproof case buried beneath the forest floor.

Inside is an old external hard drive.

Certain she's finally found the source of the recordings, Audrey rushes home.

She plugs the drive into her computer.

Nothing happens.

Then every light in the house shuts off.

The computer powers down.

The house falls completely silent.

A loud thud echoes from somewhere upstairs.

For the first time, Audrey realizes the investigation is no longer confined to her computer.

Someone—or something—is inside the house with her.
