Project Overview
Hi! Two of my actors recently dropped out of a project I’ve been working on for a while now and I’m hoping To find some replacements!
Podcast summary:
The Guardian of the Forest is the story of Tora. ‘The forest’ is the home of the Mythics, every mythical creature known to man. They live there, protected by a barrier after a devastating war between them and humans.
Because of said war, there is a guardian chosen by the barrier tree to protect the inhabitants. Only the guardian can pass through the barrier, which is what the last guardian, Sauske of the shapeshifters, did.
The new guardian is a monster named Tora. He lives with his moms in a secluded part of the forest. His brother, Victor, used to be a samurai, but then he disappeared. Everyone thinks he’s dead, but Tora is certain he’s still alive
One day, during a patrol, he finds something shocking. A human in the forest. He calls himself Roman and apparently he’s the human prince — and Sauske’s son.
Tora has no interest in believing him, that is, until he learns that a deadly snake has poisoned Ezra. Feeling as if he has no choice, he strikes a deal with Roman. He’ll help Roman find his missing father if he helps him find the antidote for Ezra.
All I’m looking for is somebody who can record and that has a discord.

Aponi is one of Tora’s adoptive mothers. She’s an Aracnian warrior by trade, but recently started training Tora to become the guardian of the forest. She will do anything to keep her family safe. She’s firm, brave and stubborn.
(Firmly) Look, that doesn’t matter. You’re still in training. You shouldn’t have been left alone with the human in the first place.
(Reminiscing) Of course he would’ve. Probably would’ve done it in the most Victor way possible. He would’ve given him a big speech about life and family and about the risks worth taking.
Ezra is one of Tora’s caretakers, and the fiancé of his presumably dead brother, Victor. Early in season one he gets poisoned, but will have more of an active role in later seasons. He’s a former thief and has been known to be quick on his feet. He is understanding to a fault.
(Gently) It’s okay if you’re scared Victor. I know this is a big mission. You’ve never been away this long.
(not sure of what to say next) This denial isn't healthy, Tora.
