The GrungeBunge Chronicles
Project Overview
INTRODUCTION
Before reading this, you MUST BE 18 OR OLDER before considering helping with GrungeBunge. It's in no way pornography, but it's aimed at an adult audience.
Hey guys! This project is for an animated series called The GrungeBunge Chronicles, which is an adult cartoon along the lines of what you would expect on Adult Swim.
The GrungeBunge Chronicles is an adult cartoon comedy centering around two roommates (Cringy and Laurel) and their alien friend (Dabby). Often getting high, getting into trouble, and anything else you’d expect from a bunch of adults who just graduated high school. Cringy has this desire to form a grunge rock band with Dabby and Laurel, inspired by her favorite band the ButtSniffers. Said band (fittingly called GrungeBunge) is always hard to get done, either due to procrastination, being easily distracted, or not finding a singer! The episodes are primarily episodic, telling self contained stories. But this doesn’t mean characters don’t grow and develop.
Since this is an ongoing project, there's no read deadline for when it ends. There's also tons of opportunities for artists, voices, and other categories that might fit your talents.
The entire project is freelance, but we'll give you credit for everything you work on, and deadlines will work around your schedule.
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
-First and foremost, have fun!
-Please please PLEASE keep in touch! On progress, on deadlines, and your schedule
-If you're voice acting, good mic quality is preferred (like a blue yeti). Sometimes I make exceptions if the voice is really good, but we have to at least understand what you're saying through the recordings.
-If you have interest in animation, all animation is done through Adobe Animate.
-For storyboard artists, you're not limited by software or medium. We prefer digital but we won't yell at you for using pencil and paper (we don't yell at all as a matter of fact). Though 1920x1080 page size is preferred.

Cringy is unpredictable, rebellious, and gets herself (along with others) into strange misadventures. She’s also very sarcastic, and overall wise cracking. If she has an idea, she normally sticks with it until things go wrong.
Her voice is midlow, not too high, but not too low. There's a little bit of an attitude to it as well.

We give you part of the script (sometimes you can even pick the scene you want), we provide model sheets, and you set the stage/emote the characters as you see fit! We prefer people staying at least a little bit on model, but that doesn't mean you can't go nuts with the expressions!

For animation we use Adobe Animate. We're pretty easy going when it comes to things like framerate, but make sure you stay on model. Before inking (if you want to ink) send me the file with the rough sketches of the in-betweens so I can make sure everything is good.
Inking is really easy since it's meant to look sketchy and rough around the edges.

The GrungeBunge Chronicles mainly consists of rock music. If you use real instruments that's great, but digital is also allowed.

Were in need of a singing voice for Cringy. This isn't an audition for the character, just her voice. Her singing voice be suitable for rock music (though if you're good at other genres that's a bonus!) However, the singing voice should have a simular range to how Cringy shounds normally. 1. Knows Adobe Animate,
2. Knows how to rig characters.
3. Knows how to animate traditionally
These character rigs will include handdrawn assets so they blend in better with the handdrawn scenes.
Here's a small example of how our rigs look like? Of corse there more elaborate than what's shown here, but hopefully this gives you an idea of how these rigs should look!
