The Good Bad Show
Project Overview
A fan-made LEGO Movie spinoff show following the lives of Good Cop and Bad Cop as they try to exist peacefully for the first time ever. The show will be sprinkled with fun musical numbers of different styles. This series, filled with humor and sometimes unexpected serious moments, intends to emulate the feeling of the original movie, with my own personal twists.
At the moment, we are looking for animators and one more voice actor. Unless mentioned otherwise, all voice actors should try to recreate their character’s original voice from the movies. Details for animators can be found in the audition info.

... by the way. Our team strives to be understanding and inclusive. As silly as this may sound, we try our best to steer away from harmful/ableist stereotypes and words, even in a show about LEGO minifigures. This is especially important considering our main duo are often called “alter egos” or “a split personality”, despite their consistent implied plurality (sharing a brain and body with another person / fragmented identity). Please correct us if we do something inappropriate, but keep in mind that I, the creator of the show, have DID myself.

The now-retired tyrannical ruler of the entire world who spends his free time being kind of a petty jerk. He’s not an evil mastermind anymore, just... passive aggressive.
In the original movies, he was voice acted by Will Ferrell. You can look up clips from The LEGO Movie for reference.
Pick one or two lines from him in the original movie. Some suggestions:
“Wonderful, fantastic. Would you cancel my two o'clock, this next meeting could run a little bit… Deadly...”
“And it's not just you, Bad Cop, that keeps messing up my plans. People everywhere are always messing with my stuff. But I have a way to fix that. A way to keep things exactly the way they are supposed to be. Permanently.”
“Hi, I'm President Business, president of the Octan Corporation and the World. Let's all take extra care to follow the instructions- [whispered] -or you’ll be put to sleep.”
“Oh, heeey Bad Cop! It’s been a while, happy new year by the way!”
Just say whatever you think of in character! Impress me with something creative and funny that really shows that you’re into this character.
We need a few more animators for the show. The style is intended to be low frame rate with relatively clean, loose line art. Auditions must showcase an ability to adapt to that description.

We’re looking for someone who can create sound effects and use ones provided by me (the director) and compile the audio together for the first episode. I will work closely with you to provide my vision about timing and answer questions.
