Project Overview
Hello! My name is October, and I am the director of the Revision Studios youtube channel :)
This is a Casting Call for the gacha series "The Garwood". It is a long term project, so if you plan on auditioning, please keep that in mind :)
Introduction to the story ;
Ryder Smith is living the dream! School exams, annoying siblings, night shift, and responsibilities! Okay, maybe not THE dream. In fact, he is very bored of this routine. Luckily, he happens upon a situation that promises his life will never be the same again, so long as he can convince this witch to not leave him that is.
The first season takes place mostly on earth
Genre: Slice of Life/Fantasy
Theme: Found family, overcoming trauma
Type: Gacha Series (two seasons)
Audition Information ;
Technically, these auditions are being held on Discord, but due to the repeated raids and losing auditions, I've decided to move the voice auditions to Casting Call Club. If you want to audition to be a team, be sure to join the discord server :)
I will be picking the voice actors on the deadline of this casting call!!
Role Information ;
Though I am not quite sure right now as to when this will be possible, I want this to be a project will all paid roles. The first episode or two won't be paid, since I need the youtube channel to be monetized, but after that, every team member will be paid fully.

Voice Actor
Ash is River's boyfriend, Ryder's best friend, and Tide's best friend also. He's the mayor's son, and his older brother is famous. Ash everywhere, all the time. How is this talentless fool literally so connected? He's in every episode but doesn't actually play a huge speaking role.
[teasing] But babe, you look so much better in pajamas. Surely your clients wouldn't mind, right?
[angry/yelling] That is just so you, you know that? Running away from a situation because you just don't want to face it. Someday everything you've tried to run away from is going to catch up to you and bite you in the ass. I for one, cannot wait to see it happen.
[casual] There's uh... some Chinese from last night in the fridge if you're hungry. And uh... oh! I have some brownies too, but...like, don't eat more than one, okay?
Voice Actor
River is the twin sister of Ryder. She is very smart, very gifted in many things, and always makes a point to ensure everyone is aware of what she is capable of. She plays a main role during season one and later in season two as well.
[upbeat] Up and at ‘em, Ry! It’s your semi-finals today, and no brother of mine is going to sleep in on such an important occasion!
[tired/disbelief] Y... you just... how did you.... Where'd you find this girl, a magician's disappearing closet? She's really good at those... party tricks? Ha! How'd you get the fire effect though?
[angry] That's my BROTHER you're talking about whisking away to another dimension. A DANGEROUS dimension at that, with man-eating lizards and- and- I dunno carnivorous bunnies! I don't know I haven't actually been there but there's no way in hell I am letting you put Ryder in danger.
Voice Actor
Ryder is one of the 2 lead characters in this series, and therefore will have a lot of lines in every episode varying in emotion.
As far as his character goes- just imagine any burnt-out college student with a full time job and you got him
[very excited] That was awesome! We just defeated a- what was that, a bear? River is never going to believe m-...
[small voice] oh.
[annoyed] That's just the way the cookie crumbles, I guess. Some things are just bound to happen- like me working in customer service for ALL OF ETERNITY.
[smol panic] River! River, wake up! I need your car and 200 bucks no time to explain! It's an emergency!
Voice Actor
Tide is the "witch" that Ryder is so obsessed with. She will be in every episode, considering she is one of the main characters. She is the wreckless type, with a history of theft and tomfoolery.
[flat/nonchalant] What? Your boyfriend isn't dead p e r s e , his molecules have just been temporarily torn apart and are floating around this general area until they find each other. What? Why do you look so mad?
[dying laughing] You thought- You thought I- ME- and- and HIM- oh my god! That's a good one, Hart. Ha! Moss and me, a couple?
[now serious] Bitch he's my cousin that would be fucked up.[upset] Look, I know the deadline is near, but... these guys are weak. Most humans are. I don't want to babysit someone on the way to The Garwood, okay? There's still plenty of time before the full moon! Just- tell The Guardian that I have it under control and get his followers out of my hair until I ask for them.
