Kokutou and Shiki’s Day Out is a safe for work doujinshi (artist Halcon) from the The Garden of Sinners/Kara no Kyoukai series; this comic dub will be released on my YouTube channel alongside a video essay I’ve been writing on Shiki Ryougi and Mikiya Kokutou’s relationship. At the moment, I’m aiming for the videos to be released in June of this year – but rest assured, everyone involved will be paid as soon as their finalized work has been submitted to me. Auditions for cast members will close on March 30th, 2022, 11:59 PM PST.
I've cast the role of Shiki Ryougi to myself, but I'll need three more voice actors for the roles of Mikiya Kokutou, Azaka Kokutou, and Touko Aozaki. I'll also be needing the help of 1-2 audio engineers and 1-2 video editors to make this project a reality.
Here are the rates staff will receive:
Mikiya Kokutou, $30
Azaka Kokutou, $15

Audio Engineer(s) $40
Video Editor(s) $40
I have high standards for auditions, as this is a paid project with a lot of love going into it. Please make sure that you follow these guidelines-- I will assume anyone who does not did not read them, and I will reject the audition.

1) Please submit one audition per character at first. You may submit another audition for the same character only if I comment with feedback; making a maximum of two per character. This second audition will be your chance to perfect your performance! Don't think you're out of the running if I don't comment on your audition, though-- maybe you have nothing to fix.

2) Here's a link to the comic on google docs: https://tinyurl.com/KSDayOut . Utilize it to gain context and add to your audition, but make sure to act the lines on CCC and NOT the lines directly from the comic! The lines on here have been edited by me to sound more natural, and the same will be done for the final product.

3) Two takes per line only, with no script editing of the lines in question-- act them out word by word as they're written in the sections for the role and NOT the comic on google docs. To give yourself a better chance, try and make sure these takes are significantly different either in terms of voice tone or acting. I may ask you to improv a bit on the third line for certain characters; make sure you include these!

4) Please only audition if you own a USB or XLR microphone, with very little to no background noise.

5) Own an active Discord account, as I will be making a server for cast to communicate and submit lines/work to!

6) Own a PayPal account to receive your payment if casted!
