The First Hunt: Title Track (Vocalist Wanted)

The First Hunt is a Halo machinima film project. The team is seeking a vocalist for the title track of the film. The project is to be published on YouTube.

SYNOPSIS:

Set in the year 2555, The First Hunt details the origin story of "Twenty-Seven", a genetically engineered super solider whose precise lethality and cunning set of skills has has earned her the title, "Huntress"

In The First Hunt, viewers join Twenty-Seven on a mission to track down and apprehend two A-list criminals, whose joint scheme to launch a terrorist attack threatens to end the peace humanity has been desperately clinging to. It's up to Twenty-Seven alone to find and stop the two sociopaths before it's too late, and it'll require all her abilities and determination to pull it off.

The First Hunt is inspired by media such as Ghost in the Shell, Perfect Dark, Halo and The 007 Series. The series features it's own completely original soundtrack written and performed by Aaron Weatherford.

CASTING DEATILS:

The First Hunt team is looking to recruit a volunteer vocalist to perform in the opening title sequence of the film. The project team includes a composer and lyricist who have both written and provided all the additional musical components to the title track. The vocalist would not be require to mix their audio for the track themselves.

The title track, "The First Hunt" is inspired by many of the contemporary title themes for the 007 series, such as "Skyfall" and "No Time to Die". The team is seeking a female vocalist primarily, but any gender is encouraged to audition if they so please. A sample of the title track, "The First Hunt" is provided for the vocalist to reference and study for their audition.

We will not be accepting auditions from or casting any persons below the age of 16.

PROJECT DETAILS:

As the vocalist, your obligated total running involvement with  the team will most likely be minimal. If cast, you will work with the director, composer and lyricist most directly. Upon completion of your work, you will have no outstanding project obligations. All proper accreditations will be given pre/post project release, and you may receive social media tags where appropriate.

Team communication will take place over the Discord app. We ask all who audition to also have access to Discord.

This is a volunteer project. All members of the cast and crew of the production team have agreed to volunteer their services and talents, free of monetary charge. There will also be no profit made of the released production itself either.

IMPORTANT:

The relevant audition information is included in a public viewable Google Drive. Certain organizations, like universities, often block the use of school affiliated emails on public google drives. If you are using a drive affiliated with an organization, you can bypass the blockage by using an incognito tab or a different email login.
