The Fault of Hurricane 1985 : FNaF fancomic | Revisionists Needed

Project Overview

Hello to all who have clicked on this project! I appreciate your interest. This project is aimed to be a well-organized canon-based fan comic with plenty of input from fans within the Five Nights of Freddy's fanbase. Though I can't have just any fan, I'll need fans with interest in the FNaF game lore and story to help (specifically games 1-6). If you're a fan of the kind, keep on reading!

This project I've created is a solo project, but I will need lots of revisionists for the project to be at it's upmost performance. Revising the comic shouldn't be very time consuming (11 chapters, ~15 pages each) and if I bore you with revising, then that's something to revise. This comic is supposed to be informational enough to fit the game lore perfectly, but to also hold a strong foundation on drama and literature. Obviously, there are many more layers to the comic than what may be expected, so revision will be divided up into groups depending on people's experiences in the focused fields. The revision will be divided into such teams:

General Revision, a team that focuses on the general terms, such as how specific panels relate to the whole scheme of the comic, chapter or page.

FNaF Revision, a team that focuses on the comic's canon relation to the FNaF games 1-6 and how filled plot holes fit the canon lore.
Art Revision, a team that focuses on the accuracy of the panels, particularly for those of artistic pursuits looking for items to study and critique.
Script Revision, a team that focuses on the outline of the comic and how it's written, best for those who have scriptwriting pursuits.

Each group will be updated whenever I've completed something for you to revise. Depending on the group, you will have different items to revise that you may be updated on at different times compared to other groups. Like for general revision, they will be updated on layout sketches which should be pretty early in the production phase compared to the art revision team when they'll be given the fully colored pages later in the production phase of a chapter. And of course you can be in multiple revision teams at once.

Things I ask of you for supporting this fan comic project though, please be respectful to and with everything you work with towards this project. We cannot have any ill-intent crafted into this project. This is meant to be an entertaining but informational piece on the Five Nights at Freddy's game lore by fans with passion, it's nothing more or less than that. Please understand that this will probably be big learning experience for many fans who will be involved, so be up to learning something new or discussing a subject that could be fixed, don't take anything personally. I also ask, safely, to understand that you will be kicked out of the project if you don't participate after being accepted into helping, don't revise in time without excuse, use copyright, or express inappropriately.

Everything will be available on google products, such as Google Docs, Google Drive, and Gmail. I will contact your revision team as a whole when updates are made through Gmail and I will link docs and folders through their. If you do not support google products, we can discuss an alternative communicative strategy through CCC. Discord or any other social media app is not needed.

For auditions, it's pretty willy-nilly. You can share your experience or how much you love FNaF, I don't really care, as long as you have a strong interest and you're willing to help. More information on the style, plot, writing style, etc. is available once you've been accepted. It's pretty similar to my own style so you can look at my website if you want, but I can tell you, I've been putting a lot of thought into this project. You will automatically be credited when the chapters are published (probably be published on webtoons, maybe other websites, I will update everyone when the project has been published), if you want me to add any of your socials or change your username or anything, please let me know.

This project should be published by March 2023 based on my rate right now. Again, I don't ask much time from you, but if you want to spend less time on your revision part, I'd suggest sharing this with any of your friends who might be similar in the FNaF fan position so we can split the revision work up more. If you have any questions, please email me at rpartist (@gmail.com) or comment on this project. No spam.

If you're the type of philosophical person wondering "well what does this have to do with the whole idea of this?" then you've found the right team! In this team, you will be tasked with reviewing the outline document of the fan comic. In the outline, each chapter is generalized so I may ask you to focus on specific chapters and if what is in the scripts and layouts do fit the general idea of the chapter. Every single detail is supposed to fit the chapter's idea and the theme, so intellectual experience is key for being in the team.
For submissions, you can say something fancy, go on about some FNaF theory you love or a personal one you have, or maybe something you've edited before, whatever you think expresses your passion most. And of course add your internet email, not personal email (if you don't have a fake email used online, then please make one. I don't want to spread your personal information).

In this team, you really just tie early items to the canon game lore of FNaF. If you're super into FNaF theories and the lore, then I'd suggest this team for you. You will probably be discussing a lot amongst your team and me on subjects of the comic, so you'll need to make sure your Gmail notifcations are on and of course, unsubscribe to any newsletters you find annoying.

For auditions, I'd prefer you share me your thoughts on FNaF theories, like maybe what happened to Michael after CC's incident, or maybe what happened to Henry when for the years he isn't mentioned (I put 1985-2015), or when Fazbear's Frights opens, or what happened to Will when he's not mentioned (did he stay in the backroom or did he run off?). I could go on. You can add your theory here in a voice recording, a simple passage, or something on google docs, whatever you feel shows your passion for FNaF best.

In this team, you will be tasked with reviewing the art of the comic pages. You will be updated on sketches, color, and finals. You don't have to have experience in all of those aspects of art, but it would be nice. All you need is an interest in art criticism and a strong foundation in the basics of art. If you're the type of person who enjoys art museums or staring at artworks for hours, this would be a great team for you to join.

For auditions, you can show me your critiques on your favorite artworks in any form, could be fanart, a renaissance sculpture, pixel art, an oil painting, whatever you want, it could even be my own work or the thumbnail for this project! Just critique anything and decide how you'll best show your educated judgements.

The script revision team will be updated for each script I've finished. You will be tasked to dissect and suggest changes to the text. If you're into criticizing literature, this would be a great fit for you. It is important for you to have a good foundation in the rules of script writing and at least a little bit of experience in script writing. The LocalScriptMan is a great channel to watch for scriptwriting advice. Without his content, I would've been lost with how to start in scriptwriting.

For auditions, you can make a little script of a scenario to show your experience and knowledge in the field of scriptwriting and literature. It is important for the scriptwriting team to have a strong basis on scriptwriting for the comic to appeal well in revision. Of course, when revising, I won't task you to write a script, I am only using your sample as a source for me to understand your background on scriptwriting.

If you are blank on what to type for a snippet, I have a FNaF based prompt you can fiddle with. Just make a copy of this doc, fill it in with your script, and submit.
