The Epic Chronicles of Owen: CASTING IMMEDIATELY NEEDED
Project Overview
The EPIC CHRONICLES OF OWEN’s premise consists of the epic adventures of OWEN (an optimistic hero-wannabe), MALAYKA (a snarky fish princess), and KAI (Malayka’s manservant).
This is an EPIC FANTASY animated series. Inspired by the Avatar:The Last Airbender and the original STAR WARS trilogy. This show is both a love letter and deconstruction to the “Swords and Sorcery” and “Hero’s Journey” genres of literature.
The auditions will be for a pilot episode I am going to use for a couple of test-screenings i am gonna try to do and MAYBE post the pilot episode on youtube. This won’t be the official first episode as it’s an early draft but will be used to see if people are interested in what it has to offer. (NOTE: You will be credited for voice acting Owen in the credits)
I already had a voice for Owen but she decided to drop out of the project so I am currently looking for someone who can do this role justice and hence the urgent deadline.

Character Description:
A spirited yet naïve thirteen year old with an intense belief in the heroic ideals of bravery. His innocence desires him to perform bold heroic deeds such as “Slaying an ugly beast” or “rescuing the damsel in distress”. He charges head first into danger without fully understanding potential risks and costs.
Voice Guideline
Owen is young, bold, curious, and eager to be a hero — but he’s still naive and emotionally raw. The actor or actress should show both his excitable, humorous side and his vulnerable moments.
