'The Demon' is an Audio-Drama in the Comic Cave DC Universe!
It is a retelling of the origin story of Jason Blood & Etrigan.
Set in Arthurian times, Jason Blood stumbles upon a plot of massive implication, furthermore - drama is afoot in Castle Greythorn as King Arthur falls ill more than a decade after the disbanding of the Knights of the Round Table.
The fate of Camelot is in the hands of Jason Blood, and The Demon.

Jason’s loving but fiercely grounded wife, who understands the danger of his past better than he wants to admit. She is protective, emotionally direct, and terrified that answering Arthur’s call will take her husband away from her. Perhaps permanently.
Please. If this really is just a final goodbye to King Arthur, please - let it be only that. I do not wish to see you donning blackened armor, or valor swords.
Those were your vows to ME, Jason. Not the realm.
Voice Actor
A once great king now physically and mentally deteriorating, haunted by the possibility that he has become a danger to the people he once protected. Arthur carries immense regret over the collapse of his kingdom and his former brotherhood, while still desperately wanting to make things right.
I am ill. Very ill indeed Sir Kay, and I shall not beat this disease inside these castle walls. A sickness lies upon this place.
What if I have done the deed, Jason. Could I slay my own knight, and not remember it? Or perhaps I do? Faintly.
Voice Actor
A charismatic but deeply guilt-ridden former knight whose betrayal destroyed the brotherhood he once cherished. Lancelot is trying to atone for his past while still carrying complicated feelings for Guinevere and an aching need for Arthur’s forgiveness.
That is why every day is like living with a dagger in my gut. I think this marriage, even if it will only be marriage by name - is the only way I can think to make it up to him.
No, Guinevere. I did love you. I did, I would have done anything for you. That is why it was dangerous.
Voice Actor
Arthur’s devoted but emotionally overwhelmed queen, caught between grief, political instability, and the consequences of her past with Lancelot. She is strong enough to command a room, but underneath that authority is a woman terrified of losing her husband and her kingdom.
My Arthur would not do this, ill or not!
WE bore no child! WE have no heir, and the realm of Camelot is so sensitive and on the brink of war with Saxon!

An enigmatic and increasingly alarmed wizard who senses that something supernatural, and potentially sinister, is unfolding within Greythorn. He is intelligent, secretive, and measured, but his growing fear of what he cannot yet understand gives him an underlying urgency.
I do not know. I had a vision of you, the nights before last. You were burning up, in a great fire. Calling for help, from me. Yet, I could not help you.
Not only that, I fear. All the pieces are not yet available for me to see.
Voice Actor
Arthur’s younger sister, now grown into a guarded and potentially dangerous presence within the castle. She presents herself as caring for her dying brother, but Merlin suspects she has developed a secret resentment toward Arthur and may have ambitions of her own.
I am sorry you had to witness it, Sir Kay. Arthur isn’t well. It is an illness of the body, and the mind.
There is more to this realm, than man Merlin. You should bare witness, to something far older and far more powerful.

A warm, witty, unconventional woman whose legendary identity is far less mystical than the stories suggest. Nav brings humor and humanity to the Arthurian world.
The only Magic I had shown Arthur that day was what I had poured in his mug at my bar.
Greythorn? What would the King be doing in that shoddy old castle.
Voice Actor
fiercely loyal, old-school knight whose anger comes from a deep sense of betrayal and devotion to the fallen brotherhood. He is blunt, confrontational, and uncompromising.
Save me your welcomes! The King falls ill and you two fall back into old habits! Have you no shame!? Have you no respect for your King!?
I thought I would be attending the grave of my King, not also my brothers.
Voice Actor
A rational, analytical knight who approaches the chaos at Greythorn through observation and evidence rather than emotion. He provides a grounded counterpoint to the supernatural suspicions around him and has the temperament of an investigator.
I am a man of the sciences Merlin, may I examine the body before we bury him? It may tell us more?
It was not drawn, but yet he was killed by sword from the front. Someone stood before him, sword drawn - and he did not draw steel back.
Voice Actor
A loyal member of the old brotherhood who arrives at Greythorn expecting a reunion and instead finds his former brothers surrounded by death and suspicion. He is more restrained than Kay, and as inquisitive as Lionel.
My god. It looks more of a war torn relic than a castle.
Certainly Lancelot would come then, if not only to grab again the trophy Queen he left behind.

A mysterious fortune teller who immediately recognizes that Jason’s past and future are more intertwined than he realizes. She should feel playful and enigmatic rather than stereotypically “witchy,” with the sense that she genuinely knows something Jason does not.
I do not want your money, the fates have their own price - and my reward is foreseeing what will become of you.
The cards Sir Blood, check the cards again. What was once the past, is your present, and your future - I'm afraid has changed long ago.
