Hey everyone! I’m working on a medieval fantasy story — the writing and worldbuilding are all original, not AI-generated. The only thing I’m using AI for right now is the footage/visuals, just because I don’t have the budget for full animation yet.

This is very much a hobby/passion project — not something I profit from — but I’m pouring a lot of love into it. I’m starting with two pilot episodes to test the waters. If the series gains traction, I’d love to bring on more collaborators — maybe even a proper animator — and if it ever does get monetized, I’ll absolutely share profits with the people who helped make it possible.

Right now, I’m looking for as many voice actors as I can get. Because it’s a pilot, you may need to take on multiple roles, but I’ll keep things manageable (short lines, clear direction).

• Giant – older, bald, gruff but grounded. The “anchor” of the group.

• Soldier 1 – cynical, with a dry edge.

• Soldier 2 – younger, more nervous, but with heart.

• Zeal – intense, passionate, a bit reckless.

• Ssel – calculating, cold, slightly sinister.

• Liora – thoughtful, empathetic, carries a quiet strength.

• Kuesp – younger energy, uncertain but brave when pushed.

• The Elder – wise, aged, slow and deliberate in speech.

• Valtor – commanding presence, layered with both conviction and doubt; the kind of voice that can inspire or intimidate.

• Plus background voices, villagers, and side characters.

This is unpaid, but:

• You’ll get full credit anywhere the episodes are shared.

• You’ll get the finished clips to use in your portfolio/reel.

• You’ll be part of a fun collaborative experiment that might grow into something bigger.

What I’d love is to bring in an animator (or multiple animators) to help evolve this from AI placeholders into hand-crafted anime-style animation.

This is currently an unpaid, hobby/passion project (I’m just one broke guy making something I love). But here’s what you can expect if you collaborate:

• I’ll provide complete AI-animated references for every scene, so you’ll see the shot composition, staging, and tone I’m aiming for.

• The sound (dialogue + timing) will likely be set before animation, so you’ll animate to that track — just like anime production.

• Frame rate doesn’t need to be hyper-smooth — I actually want that anime feel where certain motions hold on fewer frames for style.

• You’ll still have creative room to interpret and elevate the look — the blueprint will be there, but it’s your art that makes it real.

The Style:

• Animated, medieval fantasy tone — think painterly + anime hybrid (cinematic scale, but character-driven like ATLA).

• Atmosphere, dramatic lighting, and character consistency matter most.

What I’m Looking For:

• Animators who enjoy fantasy worlds and character-driven storytelling.

• Comfortable syncing animation to pre-recorded sound.

• Open to handling short sequences or even single scenes (doesn’t need to be one person animating everything).

This is unpaid for now, but you’ll get full credit and the chance to help shape something that could grow much bigger if the pilots land well. If it ever does monetize, profits will be shared with the team.
