Hello there –
We are now casting for The Copycat Protocol, a narrative audio drama inspired by the world of Five Nights at Freddy’s. This project tells an original story within a reimagined timeline, where key events—like the Bite and the disappearances—occurred earlier than in the original games. At the center of it all is William Afton, and the emergence of a rogue AI known only as The Mimic.
This is not a VHS or analog horror series—this is a fully voiced, cinematic-style audio story focused on performance, dialogue, and immersive sound. It blends mystery, psychological tension, and character-driven storytelling.
SYNOPSIS:
In this alternate timeline, the Bite happened in 1979. The missing children disappeared in 1983. But those were only the beginning.
As haunted animatronics are phased out and abandoned facilities sit dormant, something deep in the system begins to wake up—learning, copying, imitating. The Mimic is not a ghost. It's not a glitch. It's a program built to reflect, and it’s no longer bound by human rules.
Those caught in its path—from former employees to unknowing victims—are about to face the consequences of a cover-up that never truly ended.
Role Significance:
Lead characters will have recurring appearances across episodes. Side and supporting characters may appear briefly but still carry narrative importance. Some roles may grow over time based on story development.
This is a character-driven drama with horror elements—your performance matters as much as your voice.

Henry had help creating the company with his best friend and business partner, William Afton, who was also the owner and founder of his own company, Afton Robotics. William and Henry opened their first location, Fredbears Family Diner, a local family restaurant that had two mascots, Fredbear and Spring Bonnie, whom Henry created. They were both Springlock Suits, special hybrid suits that could switch from wearable costumes to animatronic entertainers.

M1 was created as experimental artificial intelligence in the late '70s. She was created by Edwin Murray to care for his son, David, whilst Edwin worked after the passing of his wife. For yet unknown reasons, whether deliberately or by accident, M1 took on and perfectly replicated Fiona's character and mannerisms, becoming a robotic copy of Fiona.
