Project Overview
Intro
Hello everyone we're back with another casting call for The Collector series. For those who are new to the project, The Collector is an anthological podcast series which explores the themes of horror, myths and urban legends. So come and join us into the abyss as we descend into the depths of humanity's sins. DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
The deadline for auditions is April 4th. We’ll notify the voice actors who have been cast in roles on the 4th or the 5th depending on the number of auditions.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We communicate primarily through Discord. If you are unfamiliar with this application, you can still audition, however, we strongly recommend participation through Discord so that you can collaborate with your fellow voice actors.
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
First, have fun! We take pride in bringing together talents in different mediums to create something we’re proud of, but none of it means anything if the people involved aren't passionate about their craft.
Please submit clean recordings on prosumer mics (no air conditioners in the background, no fans -- we don't mind performing noise reduction on your files, however too much clean-up reduces the quality of your voice). And speaking of clean-up -- please let us handle the post-production. Don't add effects to your lines -- leave that to us.
Feel free to cut your lines to your best/favourite takes. Three is the gold standard. We have a few voice actors that would rather give us more takes, and that's okay, too. However please at least remove the takes you don't want to be featured on the podcast.
Please keep in mind that when you audition for a role within The Collector series, we ask all VA's to meet specified deadlines so that we have time for re-edits if needed. We want to make sure that each episode properly showcases the talented work of that VA.
Episode synopsis
Jessica wants to prove to her new friends that she is willing to tackle any challenge they throw at her. So when they tell her the rumours of Sandringham house, despite the dangers that lurks inside, she saw an opportunity that she couldn't miss.

While Erik is the charismatic one of the duo, Theo is the introvert who lets Erik do as he pleases.
He has his own thoughts and desires, but is quick to discard his feelings when anger or hostility is present.

One of the spirits of Sandringham house. She is older and wiser than Noelle but her years trapped in the house has twisted her into a vengeful entity. She is portrayed as calm and cunning.
