The Remake: A TPAOP Story

THE PINK APOCALYPSE ON PARADE REMAKE AUDITION INFO AND NOTES

That's right, internet folk. After years of countless e-mails and physical slaps to the face, The Pink Apocalypse on Parade will be getting THE REMAKE treatment! Consider this the official 20th anniversary celebration of the first TPAOP short premiering on YouTube back when I moderately graduated from secondary school!

And while I have plenty of fun things planned for this story and bringing in characters old and new (and plenty of cool people to appear already) one thing that'll make this event extra special is an amazing person like YOU to make a cameo in a pretty funny scene!

If you are interested in taking part, here is the jist: the scene will involve multiple announcers in trailers and TV commercials to reveal knockoff parody movie titles of Disney films if they got or already have the live action remake treatment.

Here are the full lines in question:

• Welcome back to DeadLicks. We now return you to our movie presentation of Booty and the Sleaze… The 2017 version.

• And now on BooHoo, our 24 hour marathon of Moo Lamb… the remake.

• Now on TAX, we have Sleazing Goody…’s live action remake: Lab Assistant.

• Here's the remake of the remake: Kimba the White Liar.

• Coming up, we have clips from the upcoming remake of 1001 Dull Emotions.

• In this host's opinion, the remake of Billy the Plop is sure to delight moviegoers of all ages.

• Later tonight, we'll air a special version of the remake of The Snuggle Look.

• Audiences have rated Fantasmic's remake vastly superior over the original.

• And now on CCTV, Bodum… the remake.

Funny, funny stuff. Am I right?

Whether you decide to audition for one line or all of them, or even whatever amount of lines you wanna do is alright by this mountain of text. Heck, the more lines you audition for, the better chance you have of appearing in the final cut anyway! Win-win, I say!

As an added bonus, I can confidently say for now that a couple of well known folks from films and YouTube have already sent me cameos to be used throughout the picture! And yes. Some of them HAVE been in Disney stuff. Pretty cool, eh??

Alright now all that is out there, here comes the best/not-best part: working on your audition video or audio file, then sending it in via social media messaging or good ol fashioned e-mail. But if you follow these easy steps, I know you'll be alright!

VIDEO VERSION:

1. After recording your video file, please name your file “yourusername_tpaopremake” As monotonous as it sounds, it makes it easier to sort through files later. Trust me.

2. Upload your video to YouTube. Make sure it's viewed as unlisted so the surprise isn't spoiled to anyone else. If another video sharing site is preferred and has an unlisted option while uploading, that works too.

3. Send links to your video to my Discord server: #tpaopremake OR I have accounts on Twitter () or BlueSky (CCTVWorldWideUK) if you wish to send them as a DM.

AUDIO VERSION:

1. After recording your audio file, please name your file “yourusername_tpaopremake” Just like the video version, very helpful.

2. Send your file via e-mail to [redacted] If your initial file is over 25MB, you can split them up and send them via multiple emails. I'm going to allow this.

Have fun while doing these, if you choose to do so that is. And please spread the word to anyone you know who would be interested in participating. Let's make this an event to remember, ok?!

Auditions must be sent in by the end of February 28th 2025 as I intend to get proper editing started by then; and while I would love a summer release date in 2025, I will make an official date available when I feel the project is 100% to my satisfaction!
