The Brickchester Chronicles - NEW ROLES ADDED
Project Overview
The Brickchester Chronicles is a 6 part series (each episode estimated to be 4-5 mins) which will be released weekly.
The series follows the story of the Brickchester City Watch, Brickchester's worst line of defence, investiating suspicious activity at one of the city's shadier taverns. They are up against the clock however, as the devious Lord Bull, commander of the Palace Guard is determined to have his men solve the crime, and therefore persuade the King to close down the Watch, handing his own men additonal power.
Set in a semi-fantasy world, at around an Elizabethan equivilent time period, the script draws inspiration from Terry Pratchett's Discworld, along with my own experiences in roleplaying on online games.

WANT TO AUDITION? A few things to be aware of:
* Mic quality: I'm not an elitist when it comes to this, but limited echo/background noise is prefered - this is partly due to the lip-synching software I use needing to be able to differentiate between different sounds and it gets confused if it's not too clear.
* Script: I'll send over the script on competion of a siuccessful audition. This will be for all SIX episodes. Please return all lines for these episodes within 2 weeks.
* Future prospects: I do have a potential second series lined up if the first one is succesful - if you appear in series 1, you'll obviously be given first dibs on series 2 for your character.

Sinister and with his fingers in many pies, Lord Bull is commander of the palace guard, and has a network of spies on the streets. He detests the City Watch and wishes to see them replaced with his own men.
(Sinister) £"I see… well, I shall take the Palace Guard and arrest the blighters in the act. Apublic execution of tose involved… and the end of the City Watch… I’ll be the most powerful man in the City…"
(Triumphant) "My King, my agent is a step closer to unfurling this dastardly plot that isunfolding beneath our feet. "
(Sinister) "I believe that my men are better suited to the task of lawkeeping than the Watch, your Majesty, their day is over. "

The Sergeant is an integeral part of the story - cool headed and having "seen it all before", he guides Jim, the new recruit and the other watchmen who make up Brickchester's worst line of defence through the mystery that unfolds.
"Oh don't worry about Hangman Harry, Jim, he just likes to HANG around here while he's waiting for work, although, the recent invention of gunpowder has rather killed off his business..."
(In answer to an excuse) "It's impressive, Corporal, as we dont ACTUALLY get buffalo in this part of the world..."
(Bemused questioning) "...The hat, Corporal? Explain..."

The Drill Sergeant appears briefly in the series, and is of the general belief that the Captain, is a formidable man who is generally furious. He's not, but the Drill Sergeant thinks so.
(Loud, announcing) "Watchmen! SILENCE! The Captain, approaches! In line, or we will feel his wrath!"
(Shocked - to himself)" I knew it, he's furious!"
(Loud, announcing) "You heard the Captain, the last man out of the gate will be flogged!"

Raised in the gutter and having worked his way up from there, the Corporal bluffs his way through life with increasingly unbelievable stories, and is a renowned petty thief, who is generally let off because he's him.
(Confident bluffing) "Oh yes, Captain, stopped a heard of Buffalo from stampeding into the City only this morning!"
(In answer to an accuastion of stealing) "My pockets are the safest place for 'em, Sir"
